I always kill that son of a ****. He's had it coming since he stabbed Shepard in the back in ME1. I'm paragon but I'd have shot the little **** right there and then if I could've. I knew he would be more trouble than he's worth back then.
Trust me, it's personal.
You know the Irony? I really liked Udina in ME3. "Finally!", - I thought, - "the guy has good writing! Better than Shepard's". Bit of a shame, really. Yes, I really think ME3 Udina has better writing than Me3 Shepard. And it's not only "I have to go", which is already a meme here, when you really need to go, but out of options to say someone to buzz off.

Anyway, when someone has pulled a gun on important figure, there is no time for hesitation.
My thoughts exactly.

I let Ash kill Udina, it just feels more satisfying to me, it gives Ash a chance to do something of note plus it helps make up for the fact that she was aiming her gun at Shep a few moments before. Shepard is always killing of the bad guys off so I figure it's nice to let Ash have a moment of glory too.
I'm with Hellfire on that. Letting someone do something is very dangerous. Not quite appropriate manual, but quite fitting description from Die Hard 1 - "if you want to kill someone, don't hesitate".
Plus what really pisses me off during that coup thing, elevator phase:
- Team rushes into lobby and spot Kai Leng with phantoms entering elevator. Why nobody threw grenade there? Or two. Or three. My Shep and Vega got 12 - plenty to spare.
- Top level, "VS standoff". Why Shepard's team stand in such close formation? Spread, idiots! 3-5-10 man intervals and that's all, zugzwang and checkmate, no way VS protect Udina from three shooters spread that far. And VS should be absolute, complete, total moron not to figure what's what - if three persons aiming one councilor, but not shooting.
No, really.

Is it wrong that I'm imagining that Shepard with a baguette and a bottle of wine instead of a rifle and a shotgun?
Wine and baguette? Well, I'm teetotaller, so I dunno. But milk and baguette - why not.
And not instead rifle and shotgun, but with them.

And yes, before anyone asks, my Shepard ALWAYS carries a teapot with him wherever he goes.
Nah, my carrying military mess kit. Of course it's not kettle, but quite useful thing. Trust me, I carry one.
