I'm a little nervous posting this here only because its my first time ever trying to write something like this and its probably pretty bad, but I figure the best way to improve is to get it out there and let people give me constructive criticism. So here it goes: 

Also the second to last line is I guess M-rated...so you have been warned.


Aboard the Normandy: In transit to Earth for the final battle.

Ashley: Hey skipper, mind if I come in?
Shepard: You don’t have to ask permission to come in Ash, this is OUR room.
Ashley: I guess you have a point haha. You ok skipper? Are you nervous?
Shepard: No, I’m fine...not nervous.
Ashley: Shepard...its me. I’m nervous beyond belief considering everything thats riding on this. I mean, if we fail its all over. Everyone...dead...
Shepard: Ash....not helping at all.
Ashley: Oh yeah sorry skipper not what you really wanted to hear ha. You’ll get us through this, I know it. You beat Saren, came back from the dead, beat the Collectors, destroyed Cerberus, and you are about to win this war. Plus, you don’t have a choice in the matter. I seem to remember you promising me that after this was over we would get married and settle down and we both know you don’t break promises.
Shepard: I don’t remember making any promises of getting married to you after this was over. So I don’t know what you are talking about.
Ashley: ........Shepard...I’ll make you sleep downstairs with Garrus. Maybe that will help you remember.
Shepard: Hmm, yes! Its coming back to me now, I do remembering promising you.
Ashley: Thats what I thought. Now get on the bed, I think your Thanix Cannon needs an inspection. *grinning seductively*
Shepard: Aye, Aye ma’am.

The option for a happy ending, where Shep is reunited with Ash (or his/her LI). Wouldn't even have to go into much detail. Would just be enough to see them walk off together, for example.

That's not going to happen, though, since they already said the endings won't change. Which is why I doubt I'll bother with downloading the EC.

all i want to see in the extended cut dlc is reuniting wih ash before going into the citaidel to choose the destroy ending. i guess the only happy i have is my headcannon.

@Johnny: I just want them to be reunited after the Reapers are defeated, and to finally have a shot at a real life together. But that's not going to happen, so when I finish my current playthrough, I'll just stop when I reach Star Brat and imagine my own ending.

Actually one of Gamble's tweets conerned recording new VA work for Extended Cut DLC. They are recording new voice-overs, whom its for is unknown

- diplomat with a gun
- forced hero - "I never asked for all that sh*t."
- closest friend of Anderson
- Hackett is a relative of Shepard (most likely an uncle / great uncle)
- is well aware of Liara's affections but tries to keep it professional
- loves Ashley since day one
- a crackshot with the SR (Infiltrator)
- caffeine addicted
- started to write poems after meeting Ashley
- had at least two girlfriends before Ash
- does not hold a grudge against Batarians
- breaks down multiple times in ME2
- PTSD in ME3 / post ME3
- gets indoctrinated
- feels guilty for loving Ashley - he knows they both can't have a happy ending
- lots of other stuff ...

I'm half assing my headcanon for now, cause I don't know what to expect from the EC yet. For all we know, Perfect Destroy ending might show Shepard reunite with the Normandy, so i'm holding off for now.

Shepard entered his house, after a long day at work. He Just sat in his couch turning the game on.
Shepard: Hay ash *calling out in the next room*
Ashley: need something John.
Shepard: Yeah, can you grab me one of my new beers.
Ashley: Okay, just don't ask me too cook also, like I said before. I'm not being a classic house wife.
Few moments latter ashley came out of the kitchen.
Ashley: Long day skipper *she said handing him his beer*
Shepard: You can say that, never thought teaching kids would be worse than fighting reapers *he said laughing* (shepard always wanted to teach, so he got a job at the local colony Junior High)
Ashley:Don't you miss the good old days skipper?
Shepard: Oh yeah, because coming back from the dead, and nearly dying saving the galaxy was just the best of days ash.
Ashley: well, when you put it that way then I guess not. so drink up
Shepard: why don't you grab a beer yourself ash.
Ashley: Because, I hate your taste John.
Shepard: You kidding, you use to love this brand.
Ashley: I have work in the morning remember. You never know what can happen in this dangerous colony running security *she said sarcasticlly*
Shepard: Guess it's nothing like the alliance, you regret retiring with me?
Ashley: I regret nothing, now please drink * she said hiding her evil smile*
Shepard: Ash, you dont have to get me drunk to sleep with you *Laughing*
Ashley: *She gave him a soft punch on his shoulder* oh if you don't want to drink, I'll just take this back *she tried to reach for his beer*
Shepard: *shepard moved his beer closer to him* was just teasing you ash.
Shepard drank his beer, and it had the worst taste ever. He just spit it out all over the floor, while Ashley was laughing.
Ashley: Whats the matter, bad taste.
Shepard: what the hell ash, was that syrup.
Ashley: Among other things *she said still laughing*
Shepard: Why, I thought this was over.
Ashley: After what you did to my hair, it's not over intel I win.
Shepard: that was six months ago ash.
Ashley: I told you I get my revenge.
Shepard: yeah yeah good one. *he said getting off the couch heading towards the kitchen* Is this over now.
Ashley: *ashley raised her hand* scouts honor skipper.
Shepard reached for one of his hidden beers, knowing ashley couldn't have messed with it. he gave it a quick junk. It had the same taste.
Ashley: Oh yeah, I was never a scout *she said standing behind him* Now you want me to make some pancakes for old times sake.
Shepard: fine, but I'm watching you every step of the way.
Ashley: But John,wont you miss the game?
Shepard: It's better than being poisoned.

Shepard was mad that ashley used his own beer against him, he swore he would get here back. the cease fire was over.

Gangsta914: the first one is the hardest. Once you have a knack for writing that stuff AND know the characters good enough, it's quite easy - unless you run out of ideas. Which sometimes happens *g*

I'm hoping to find more Ashley dialogue in game but I reckon I heard most f them, thethessia mission has some good dialogue between liara and Ashley but wish liara wasn't required for as any missions. It annoys me.

Good to know, then I'll bring Ash to Thessia on my next FemShep. Leaning toward making it a full girlpower-PT and mainly use Ash, Liara and Tali just for fun.

@silentK Ashley has some interesting dialogue but I take Ashley on most missions because she can carry the weapons I don't plus she's just awesome.

I've seen Thessia with Kaidan, Garrus and Javik (lol) so far and all of them had good dialogue. It will be fun to see what Ash has.

Will probably bring her to the Geth Dreadnaught as well to see her and Tali together as friends. Just wish she had something to say to FemShep on the Normandy but at least I know in advance that she'll be quiet. I'll swing by here and ask you guys which missions are the best for Ash and which people she's fun to group with.

It didn't bother me... until From Ashes. I can understand Mars since it's the start of the game and we barely have anyone in the team and Thessia since it's her homeworld, but as if Liara wasn't featured in the game enough, they've basically made From Ashes to be "Liara DLC part 2" What's next? Liara focused Omega DLC? Liara focused vehicle exploration?

Is that where they'll be posted from now on? If so, I'll have to make sure I check in there.

Those diary entries are the only thing related to the "official" ending that I'm even remotely interested in.

I don't think the writers knew what to do with her after the coup. Or they didn't feel the character, and were afraid they wouldn't get her "right" - so they just stuck her in the lounge.

It's a shame, because I feel what we do have of Ash is, for the most part, very well written. It's upsetting, because she was a major character in ME1, she's the only love interest for my canon Shepard, yet she gets shoved into the background after the coup in ME3. Not even any interaction with the rest of the Normandy.

Maybe they should have set it up so that more time passed between ME2 and ME3. Then they could have explained any subtle differences in Ash's character by saying that she's a different person than when we last got to really interact with her in ME1. 2186 means only a few months have passed since Arrival, and that just doesn't seem like enough time, both for the characters to develop the way they needed, and for the extensive changes to the Normandy.
