Strange way to concentrate on details and miss most of them totally.
That reminds me of cake with raisins - when you carefully eat cake but leave raisins on plate - in this case you too can say that you was concentrating on raisins.



I tend to like Shepard as well, but, like I said, I'm fine with character death if death was reasonable or really "unpreventable" - like stray bullet or any other form of shot. When character's death is enforced on us (Mordin, Thane, Legion) or implied the way it was implied (Shepard) it feels unnatural (as well as all "kiddo" theme), so instead of compassion it only cause irritation. 

Really, I don't know what to say, i just like it. (=

Well, the death of good characters makes this so tragic. I mean, you really become attached to this great characters, and when they die, it's very sad...

Well, I don't know nothing for leaked beta, haven't read it. Hmm, I wonder, what precludes me from reading it now? Maybe only more disappointment, fromruined opportunities. Ah, well, It’s no use locking the stable door after the horse has bolted.

I don't oppose that, all I want to say, that when character's death is "justified" and "meaningful" - that at least makes you appreciate and value their sacrifice.
Of course I can try to explain and accept that Mordin was old and tired and went to Shroud to disperse cure before tower went ka-boom due damage, inflicted by Kalros collision, Thane was that complicated good-bad kind of guy, who was dying anyway and who decided to sacrifice his life to save someone's, Legion... Well, don't know - maybe some backward incompatibility with self-copying. But Thane's scene was totally ruined by cutscene production with that "movie-only" gun, plot-armour and Shepard being imbecile (not just him, of course). Game full of those "Elliot Shepard, you idiot!" moments, so I really don't know was it done on purpose or not.

Modern fragrances, at least those available here and/or widespread had that stench... Plus people totally overdosing them.
Too bad gas mask filters fail to filter that.

WARNING: LONG POST INCOMING

So just some of my thoughts of a post ME3 conversation, assuming the "reunion" and some hospital time for Shepard



*Ash walks into Shepards hospital room and finds him trying to get up*

Ashley: Shepard what are you doing get back to your bed.
Shepard: Come on Ash, I need to move around before I go crazy.
Ashley: No, you need to rest. Now get back to your bed before the nurse comes by.
Shepard: Ashley just let me get some fresh air. Five  minutes that's all I ask.
Ashley: *sighs and relents* Fine but if you hurt yourself I will kill you. Permanently.
Shepard: Thanks. *Both walk outside to courtyard* So Ash, how did you deal with this... being cooped up in Huerta for that long?
Ashley: *took a moment to respond* I don’t really know. I was never one to stay put in one place for too
long. Most of my time was spent in physical therapy or just lying on a bed.
Shepard: Ya same here. At least I have you and the crew so close to me. Couldn’t imagine being away from friends that long.
Ashley:
It was difficult being that alone. You're friend, Thane, visited often. Helped me with the therapy a lot. Nice guy, very interesting, had a bunch of stories about you two fighting the Collectors.
Shepard: *a little pain in his eyes* Thane was always good to have around. He was noble and good
intentioned, I don’t recall him ever lacking for advice. He talked me out of a few bad decisions .. I miss him.
Ashley:
Ya I understand. We had a lot of conversations about Cerberus ... you know, why a Drell would work with such a pro-human organization? He had good reasons. I think that he helped me finally understand why you trusted  them the way you did, eased my worries about things.
Shepard: I'm glad then. If he played a part in that then he may be the reason things ended so well.
Ashley: He might very well be Skipper. I had hours upon hours to just lay down and think, and when I think, I OVER-think. *Takes a deep breath and continues*
Part of me wanted to hate you ... for dying, for leaving me alone. I felt like it was your fault you got spaced, it was your fault that I would wake up in the middle of the night sweating and crying.
The other part was still in love with you. Still enthralled with your charisma, your optimism and personality. Every second I was just lying there, I thought about where things were between us, what they should be, and what they could be in the future. I still loved you deep down, but then Cerberus kept showing its ugly head and I just wanted find some reason to be mad at you.
Shepard: What made up your mind then?
Ashley: You did Skipper. Whenever you visited you just said exactly what I hoped, you just ... stayed with me. You didn’t abandon me like I abandoned you.
Shepard: Ash you didn’t abandon me. In your own way you were with me. There wasn’t a mission that went by that I didn’t want you at my side, watching my back.
Ashley: And that’s my fault Skipper, I should have been there at your side. I was just too blinded by that Cerberus emblem on your shoulder that I never thought the situation through.
Shepard: Ashley you did what you thought was right. Don’t be mad at yourself there's no reason to be.
Ashley: *hugh's a laugh*
Ya OK Shepard, I don’t have a very good track record when it comes to “doing what I think is right”. First Horizon and then Udinas coup, I don’t think we can take anymore of my thoughts. *looks away from him with an ashamed look in her eye*
Shepard:*inches near her and cups her chin in his hand* Ash..one of the reasons I love you is because you follow your gut. There is no one I’d more willingly entrust my life than you. Don’t beat yourself up Ash It all worked out in the end.
Ashley: But what if.... *inturupted*
Shepard: No buts Ash, there is no need to dwell on the past, just think of the future.
Ashley: Skipper, just think...
Shepard: No Ashley, I won’t. You need to let it go.
Ashley: *quiet for a few moments* OK Skipper. I’ll forget it ... just ... give me some time to think things over. I promise I won’t overthink this time.
Shepard: Good. I guess I see you tomorrow Ash. *leans in for a kiss*
Ashley: *complies* Cya Skipper, long talk. Think the nurse is looking for you?
Shepard: Probably but I have more important things to worry about.
Ashley: No you don't Skipper, don't worry about it any more.

A sneak peek of the next chapter I'm working on, hope im heading in the right direction. did change some of the conversaton but still working hard at getting it better and getting more out of it.



Shepard stood in the doorway of Ashley’s room, finding Udina there. Haggling her for an answer, “I need an answer Lieutenant Commander.” Udina said as Shepard hid the flowers, placing them down on the chairs. Ashley noticed the flowers being placed down behind Udina, “You’ll have my answer soon, just need more time.” Ashley replied as Udina nodded, turning to leave when he saw Shepard leaning against the doorframe. His arms crossed, “I think she’s had enough for one day Udina.” Shepard spoke as Udina passed him; Ashley looked at Shepard who picked the flowers back up.

“Thought you would like them, didn’t exactly know what type you'd like since I never got the chance to ask. Quite a bit I didn’t get the chance to ask.” Shepard spoke, grabbing a chair and pulling it up after offering Ashley the flowers who grabbed them. She looked at them before smiling; her head was still showing the injuries inflicted on her.

“Hey... you actually checked your email for once?” Ashley asked, Shepard smirked as looking down.

“Always check them, doesn’t mean I reply but I guess I didn’t know what to say.” Shepard replied.

“At least you got my message, I worried that you never got them.” Ashley said as Shepard pulled the book out. Ashley raised an eyebrow at him, “Two things in one day, did you do something wrong?” Ashley asked as Shepard passed it to her.

“I guess I’m still feeling guilty, I shouldn’t have let you get injured. You scared me pretty bad; I have never been
this bad before.” Shepard replied.

“You don’t need to worry about me, I’m tough.” Ashley said as she watched the corner of Shepard’s lip turn up. It was a natural habit of his which she had come to like.

Instance: well written, just check for the proper usage of "your" and "you're" - you mixed them up at least once ^^

Similiar situation, post-war. Shepard is in a hospital on Earth and Ashley visits him. She's not alone - Garrus and Tali are with her too, waiting outside.

Ashley: Hey - may I come in?
Shepard: Ash! Of course - feel home.
Ashley: *snickers* I never get used to all those hospitals. Huerta's was bad enough - and it was a luxurious one.
Shepard: Guess we should be glad the Reapers didn't destroy this one then. It feels more like a vault than anything.
Ashley: Yup. So what's up?
Shepard: Not much. Have a lot of time to think about stuff - what we did, what we couldn't do. And I try to remember the faces of all those we lost. Kaidan. Mordin. Thane, Legion ... Anderson ... I can't.
Ashley: My mom told me not to try to remember the face of my dad - but the fun we had when he came home. It helped me a lot - and brought back his face into my memories. Whenever I'm sad I think about those moments - and the sadness is gone. You could try it.
Shepard: Yeah ... hmm ... Kaidan ... Kaidan. Yeah, I remember that moment when we three visited the Citadel to talk to the Council. You and Kaidan had some kind of funny argument - which kinda ended with some talk about "miniskirts and thigh high boots" ... I'll never forget the look he had in his face. *snickers*
Ashley: And remember when he tried to dance with that girl in the Flux? He stumbled right over his feet, nearly crashing into that Volus ... *laughs* ... but then, after some beer, Kaidan was the best dancer - got one girl after another. Good times ...
Shepard: I miss him too ...
Ashley: Yeah ...
Shepard: Too bad you never met Mordin. You would have liked him - a genius scientist, even in Salarian standards. And a fun one too - a darn close friend. And he loved to sing ...
Ashley: I miss Thane. Didn't had much more than a few days with him, but he ... was different. Always thought Assassins were a bit creepy ... but not him. Thane was a kind spirit - had some talks about religions with him.
Shepard: Yeah - he used to talk about his beliefs a lot. Body and spirit - two different entities. He said his body was just a tool while his spirit was his essence. Must say I never fully understood all that stuff - but I tried. And ... and when he died, I lost someone that showed me a new world.
Ashley: Thane told me a lot about you. Your job for Cerberus - and it helped me to understand why you had to do this. That's why I could lower the gun when Udina did his coup. That's why I was able to trust you.
Shepard: Then I should thank Thane, hmm?
Ashley: I did it for you already - I prayed for him ...
Shepard: Thanks, Ash.
Ashley: You're welcome ... Skipper.

I loved her old armour in the first 2 games, I don't know why but the butch, tomboy armour mixed with the feminine pink colours were a great mix, in my opinion. She looked like a girly Storm Trooper and I liked it.

But her new blue stuff in ME3 looks great to me especially her non-combat uniform, but armour wise I think I still prefer the ME1

@Dannycni; I wouldn't call Phoenix armour "butch" or "tomboy", it was quite tight and complimentary to her curves. I wouldn't say I like it better than the ME3 armour.

As for the casual clothes, I think I prefer her ME1 outfit, if only because of the unnecessary sexualisation the ME3 casual outfit represents. They both look fine on her, and I don't find it unbelievable for her to wear something more sexy (again, even though I would never have chosen for that), it's not all that hard to think of a reason to change your style up once in a while, but what does slightly disturb me is the fact that noone wears anything remotely similar.

I'm not really bothered by what she wears to be honest.

@Mr Brainheart, i just mean seeing any sort of woman wearing full body armour is quite a butch thing I mean it's not usually a female fashion style but it did compliment her and the mix of white and pink kept it feminine, she is done far better than Miranda who I think personally looks the most ridiculous of the whole crew.

About the sexualisation thing, it won't be long before all females in the galaxy wear nothing if BW keeps this up

I love everybody's dialogues and stories a lot.
@Data I used google docs; so when I types "your" or "you're" it just auto corrected to "your no matter what and it made me want to break my computer in half. How do I turn that off?
Back on Topic, I think that alot of characters appearances got changed in ways that appeal to their new personalitys or roles. So when I see Ash as a Spectre I think that a Spectre has a "Lone Wolf" mentality, so it would make sense that Ashley would have a very unique look.

I like the actual Armor but not the "dress". I'm would prefer her to only have her hair down in the dress outfit. If at all for practicalities sake.

This is my second time posting a dialogue/cutscene. Hope you guys dont mind, please feel free to point out any mistake.

This is what happen if you have a another option for the drunk scene with ash (I am going use some of the lines from the game).

Shepard: Ash 
*Ashley grunting*
Ashley: Skipper ... I am off duty.... your voice....not so loud, please thnak you
Shepard: why are you lieing on the floor ?
*Ashley grunting* 
Ashley: My head... so heavy.... can't move
*Sheaprd carry Ashley up*
Ashley: Skipper... what are trying to do? 
Sheaprd: you should not be lieing on the floor when you are so drunk., it is not good for your body 
*Sheaprd walk out of the starboard observation deck, going back to the captain cabin*
*Sheaprd enter the cabin, walking towards the bed and put Ashley down on the bed*
Ashley: oh... a bed... so soft
*Shepard  smile and cover a blank over Ashley*
*Shepard pull a chair near to the bed, sit there and observe Ashley*
Joker: Commander, admiral hackett want to see you 
Shepard: *sigh* ok i am going to the commuication room in a minute
*Shepard kiss Ashley's fore head before leaving*
Sheaprd: Good night, ash
