This is my favorite expression of Ash. Right after Shepard told her that he loves her.

Femme Fatale Defenition = "The phrase is French for "deadly woman". A femme fatale tries to achieve her hidden purpose by using feminine wiles such as beauty, charm, and sexual allure." Basically a woman that is attractive but can still kill you
I got that. I don't get how that fit's Ash.

FemmeFatale in my mind just means an attractive woman that can kill or fight with skill. It may have been a mistake to put a definition that implies Ashley seduces those she kills, which she doesn't.
In this case "objection withdrawn". Like I said before - personal preferences are "get out of jail free card".

I like first, if we speak about Brainheart's post. That look! I don't think all will appreciate my choice of theme song, but here it is.

That's when Edwin Shepard started to fall in love with her, anyway.
EDIT: Listening to "Leaving Earth" in the ME3 soundtrack, and it made me think of this.

I know there isn't a scene like this in ME3, but I kinda wish there was.

My favorite expression of Ash's is in ME1 - the way she smiles when they're on the Normandy, and Shepard tells her that it's not her fault he got hurt.

There honestly should have been. Will it being the last game they should have gone all out, even with the romances. And this would have been awesome to have in the Ash romance. Shepard and her returning to Earth to finish the fight once and for all.

On the one hand, I really do think that most of what's there was well done. A majority of the writing, music, and gameplay were excellent by general gaming standards. The gameplay especially was excellent and fun, and a good balance between ME1 and ME2.
The problem, even ignoring the ending for a moment, is that ME3 has a lot of flaws as a Mass Effect game that don't quite make it measure up to what I'd expect from the franchise. Inadequate side quests, not enough hub worlds, inadequate length, not enough exploration, too much reliance on scan and grab missions, a poor journal system, too much auto-dialouge, not enough LI development if you don't romance Liara, and especially if you romance the VS, and a few plot/character conclusions, that, while still "okay" from a general gaming standpoint, just seemed "phoned in" from a Mass Effect stand point (a big one, for me, is Miranda/Sanctuary - we really should have gotten to explore her father's character more. Interaction with him should have been stretched out over two or three missions, leading up to Sanctuary).
So, we have a game that was still very fun and compelling over all, and certainly by the "normal" standards for video games today. And we have a game that, whent it did deliver with Ash - and many of our other favorite characters - generally did a good to excellent job by normal video game standards. It's just that they didn't go those extra few miles that are the difference between an "excellent game" and an "excellent Mass Effect game." An excellent Mass Effect game, for example, might have had a scene like the one in the Shepard/Ash/Earth picture.
And then, of course, we have the endings. Which made me feel like I was punched in the stomach, and actually have me feeling rather down on the franchise in general - to the point where I just have to ignore the last part of the game and head canon my own ending in order to be able to replay ME3 and enjoy the things that I do like.

Hopefully I can find the motivation to play ME1 and ME2 before the Extended Cut comes out.

@DWH1982 I pretty much agree with everything you said. The ending has really stopped me from playing ME. I started up another play through in ME1 but I can't bring myself to play it. I don't know what it is but its been really hard to keep playing it.
I'm doing another playthrough of ME3, but it was hard to get myself to that point. The endings loomed very large in my mind. As I said, I had to head canon my own ending to make myself play, so I could continue enjoying what I do like about the game.
The endings make everything in ME seem pointless. Why bother saving galactic civilization when the mass relays are going to fry anyway? Why bother making peace between the geth and the quarians if you pick the destroy ending and the geth die anyway? Why bother getting back together with Ash? Shepard dies no matter what, and she ends up being hurt again. Why bother romancing Ash at all in ME1? It's my favorite relationship in any video game, but they have no chance of working out.
The endings also don't feel like Mass Effect. To me, ME always had a triumphant feel. I guess anyone can disagree with me if they want, but, in a way, it was similar to Star Gate - yeah, things might be depressing for a few episodes, but in the end, they always figure out how to come out on top. Hell, in ME2, you can pull off a suicide mission and come back with your entire squad alive. In ME1, the feeling when Shepard walks out of that rubble, alive and well, and you see the reaction from his squad, is indescribable. That we didn't even have an option for an ending where Shepard can live and limp off into the sunset with Ash - even if it's very difficult to acheive - made me feel sick.
There should have been a range of endings - you can choose to side with the Reapers, you can choose to stop them, but die trying, you can stop them and live (even if it's the most "difficult" ending to acheive), etc. Instead, we got options A, B, or C, all of which were equally depressing.

Something as simple as assuming that only Mass Relays that were activated got destroyed opens up a way for the galaxy to rebuild seeing as how only 1% of Relays were active. Throw in a dormant mass relay a couple of light years away from Gilligans Island, and BAM you have a good old family reunion.

I am aware there's a suggestion with the destroy ending that Shepard lives, but you have to bother with multi-player to get that - and I don't.

A bronze match takes about 15 minutes, and you only really need a dozen matches or so to get your readiness up enough to survive the Destroy ending.

Like I said, I'm not sure how true any of that is but I think that was far a better ending then what we got.
Regarding the MP: If you have an iPhone(Not sure if its for other phones or not) you can download the Mass Effect Datapad app and you can get your galatic readiness up using that. Mine sits around 96-100% at all times because of it and I never touch MP anymore.

I'm also using a PC below the recommended standard for ME3. It works well enough, but not without periods of jerkieness or significant slowdown. I can't help but wonder how that would impact a multi-player game, and I can't afford to upgrade right now.
More to the point, I shouldn't have to use multi-player to access any element of any of the endings in the single player campaign that wraps up a trilogy of predominately single player games - especially when Bioware specifically said that I wouldn't need to.

I'm currently using a very old cell phone that is certainly not a smart phone of any kind. Same issue as with the PC - I can't afford to buy a better one right now.
As things stand, I barely scrape enough money together for my rent each month. Until someone actually hires me for a real job, as opposed to this temp crap I'm doing, I won't be upgrading my PC or buying a "nice" phone. Frankly, buying the ME3 Collector's Edition was kinda dumb on my part, but I did it out of a genuine love for the series and (perhaps misplaced) faith in Bioware.

Yeah, I know. I apologize if I came off as hostile, it's just an issue that gets me wound up.
I'd prefer to think that Bioware just messed up, and didn't realize they released a game where you need MP to get every element of the single player endings. Still gets me wound up, though.

I Have achieved survuve ending with EMS 3800 rating hope this helps.
Eh, it's more or less irrelevant anyway. Any time I play ME3 in the future, I plan to stop when I get to the ending scene with Star Brat, because I have my own head canon ending now.
