Well, we saw him in the final moments of the game: Ashley's romantic climax scene and the farewell scene too.
The Hospital scenes were well done too.

However, the Drunken-Ashley-scene was kinda low in case you romanced her. For friends - it works. It feels a bit mean for lovers - I had loved to see a difference here.

The Miranda romance is much more insulting, it's 98% stock dialogue with 2% being romance talk.

ME2!romances were pretty much insulting to any of their fans. Which is absolutely sad. Worst offending fact - at least in my eyes - is the lack of flashback for any other characters than the VS and Liara if you romanced someone else. Another reason why some players dislike Liara is to get her face instead of the LI in the ending.

I can understand them but don't go down that hate route since Liara deserves better. Period.

I wanted more out of the romances though, I felt let down. Like avoiding the fact that bioware chose the romance to end in death(which is hard to get over) I would have hoped there would less stock responces even when your romancing. Tali actualy acts differently on missions if you romance her, but even Tali romancers got a kick in the teeth. Nobody got out of this happy.

I did it once, when i loaded wrong save. I skipped it faster than i could.
