One of the reasons, IMO, that the VS doesn't get much content in comics and books is because it is a choice of which one survives. The makers of the non-game products stray away from making plot choses for you. Liara is writen about alot because she is always alive. Since Ash is only alive 50% of the time (actually more, poor Kaiden) it only makes sense to write about Liara since she plays to all of the characters choices.CptData wrote...

If anyone feels like writing it, I have an idea for Ash dialouge. If I were a better dialouge writer, I'd try to do it myself.
It seems like there's still some tension between Ash and Liara, perhaps due to the fact that they were both interested in Shepard. I'm sure Ash probably picks up on the fact that Liara still seems interested, despite the fact that he and Ash have a history, which likely adds to the tension.
Then there's this fact: Liara retrieved Shepard's body and gave it to Cerberus - and never thought to tell the woman he was involved with about it. Can't imagine Ash is too thrilled with that when she finds out.
It seems like there should have been Ash/Liara dialouge regarding the recovery of Shepard's body, especially if Ash and Shepard were a couple in ME1. How do you think that dialouge would play out?

I love ME1 so much. The interaction between the VS and Liara is always funny, bu there seems to be little way to convince Ash that Liara is just a really good friend before that little catfight.

Anywhere you want, really, but probably the most likely places would be on the Normandy or on the Citadel (Purgatory or the Presidium Commons probably) since those, as far as I know, are the only places you encounter "pick a side" dialouge.
@Hellfire: Still, it's a good idea, and it would be cool to see what some other people come up with as well.

I'm glad my own Shepard never did anything with Liara, though with the way Liara acts sometimes, I could still see Ash wondering if they need to have a conversation.

I really do think that Bioware missed opportunities for Liara/Ash interaction - in regard to their past competition for Shepard, in regard to Liara recovering Shepard's body and not telling Ash (which, really, honest to god, deserves an in-game explanation if you romanced Ash in ME1), etc...
