yeah yea, take there time with it and all bla bla. should of had our good ending back in march, so i have every right to be impatient.Guess i owe a top ash also

@Dahellraider, Yea we shouldn't be waiting at all, we should have been given what we wanted originally, but I suppose worst thing they could do is rush this too and totally ruin it, if it gives us more Ash I'm willing to wait...a bit

All that it can be done is for Bioware to make EC good and don't make the same mistake in future.
Hopefully this is sending other developers a message too.

@ Aurora: well ... you seem to enjoy sad / depressive scenarios. I do that too, but only as long as I can keep some sparks of hope left. ^^
My Shepard and Ashley suffered enough already; they deserve a happy ending.

That's my usual squad in ME3 too.

haha, you really like reading Fanfics don't ya. I could tell. sticking to a rule of all my writings have ashley in them. Not just because I'm an ashley fan and this is her thread, but because she is soo awesome. Updated a story last night, plan on updating another within the next two days.

I had a dream last night.
Not just one dream - it was THE dream.
I saw him again, the little boy - the only connection to my former life next to Ashley. Somehow I can remember every single dream - and in the last one, the child didn't burn. I wonder if that means something, maybe the Reapers spirits are gone as well?

However, this dream wasn't like the others. I also heard Ashley's voice, loud and clear, as if she was standing right next to me. It was just one line: "find me".
I wondered how I should do that.

Well, I got an answer, a message from Hackett. They got a weak signal - and were able to locate its source. A star system just two hundred lightyears away - Aradra.

It's going to be a trip for two weeks with that old frigate.

And I'm ready.

Tali: You know, I would like to have a sister like you.
Ashley: That's nice of you.
Tali: But I mean it. You always did treated me well and I can now say it treated me like your sister.
Ashley: Well, that may have happen.
Tali: Don't be modest, big sister.
Ashley: *chuckles* Well, I guess I won't little sis.

Ashley: Oh and, if Shepard ever does something wrong to you. Call me.
Tali: If he does it, my shotgun is always right next to me. Plus, it would be quite the overkill if you join up.

Well written, 'though I think Ash is a bit too forgiving. Even if she sees Tali as "little sister", she would have at least some sad feelings - that's not that visible. Well, maybe it's just me who imagines a hurt Ash here. Maybe she is REALLY okay with the love between Tali and Shepard since all she wants them to be happy.

(In that case - I wonder if Ashley told another friend about her inner turmoil)

It's kinda what the piece is about. Why would Ash and Tali talk about something else when they're supposed to be addressing the Shepard issue?

Y'know, that little sister comment can be interpreted in few different ways. Ash could be using it as a term of affection for a woman she considers very close friend or she could be using it to the sisterly way she kinda looks out for the quirky Quarian who back in ME1 was just stumbling her way through pilgrimage. I think there's a big difference there. The former may even be an evolution of the latter and it's never detailed in game which feeling it is.

Makes me wonder how close they actually are.

Either way I think she'd be hurt too. Madder in the first case even. I mean, if she titles Tali her little sister she considers her a close friend and I'd think a close friend would know something as basic about you as being with somebody. Tali may not know the depth of Ash's feelings but she would certainly know who the object of affection was. Dating a man your friend was in love with and quite possibly still in love with is not very sisterly no matter how you spin it.

I'd love to know how Ash reconciled that.

Dear god don't post that in the Tali thread. Implications unpleasant.

So I just did the turian bomb mission with Ash again only this time I took James too. At one point towards the end James is talking about the size of the bomb (right after you climb up the ladder) to which Ashley says to James for him to, I quote, "get your gameface on" and he replies with "Yes, Ma'am."..That made me laugh.

That's interesting, but yeah sure, Ashley's reasons for distrusting aren't illogical.
I'd say the only thing to really question might be whether or not she's justifying her fear with arguments or fears because of the reasons she mentions. If it's the first then you can make a case for her being xenophobic, if it's the latter than she isn't.

This is good stuff. All this Ash/Tali discussion in the last few pages. The drama. I wonder what Tali would say about this if confronted too. I may have to write Ash versus Tali now...

That's a fair point. I do think she's touchy about alien influence on humanity and it may have spurred her advice against an alien crew. But she's Alliance and in politics no one is really your friend. And she's military - all about uniformity and conformity - It will be harder for her to trust the intent of an alien freelancer.
