I like the dialouges, but honestly, not sure how much Ash would really beat herself up over the Council and the way she acted on Mars. Given the information she had access to at the time, she might even still be willing to defend herself somewhat.
Hell, Edwin Shepard even defends the way she acted, both on Mars and with the Council. He nearly snapped at Joker when he made that joke about her not failing the "don't shoot your CO" test.
I think she probably would be more upset over pointing a gun at Shep, especially if they end up in a relationship later on. How upset, though, I don't know - not really sure if it would cause her to question her entire self worth as a soldier. I do think it would make her feel even more committed to being at Shepard's side, though
...Then again, I don't really know. To be honest, in my own head canon, I always had Ash feeling awkward over the whole Council thing, plus her not being around for the Collector mission, as the reason she never left the observation deck. I figured she was just having trouble reintegrating, never really felt comfortable around the squaddies who were there for ME2, always wondered if deep down they were questioning her commitment.
It's sad, because I really do think Edwin Shepard would ask her why the heck she never came out of that damn lounge. We never get a chance to talk to her about it, though - instead, it just seems like there's a wall between her and the rest of the crew, and we can't do anything to help.

There's something I'd like to see... more dialouge encouraging Ash to leave the damn lounge so she can spend time with Shepard and the rest of the squad, like the good old days.
It would be really interesting to see someone other than Shepard encouraging her to get out more. Like, say, Garrus, who does say he's happy to have her back on the squad.
