He looks better than the pic cuts him out to be I guess. Probably a personal thing of how we want our shepards to look, I could never Use the default. In all hoenstly I want my shepard to look like this :PB)

I just saw one of the more depressing scenes - Ashley getting shot by Garrus on the Citadel and says to Shepard "I hope the Reapers send you to hell."
I've never seen this scene before and was quite shocked and saddended - seeing Ash say that to Shepard... Now I'm all depressed.

why would you post that here? Shepard pretty much can throw the VS away in that scene I'd do that too, especially if Garrus does it. I hate that there's no punishment for him or the squadmate who shoots the VS since they are a SPECTRE. They just get to kill a council agent and nothing happens to them. It pisses me off and shows Biowae doesn't really care about them since there's an option to just get rid of them but no one else. You can't kill Garrus for doing what's right, can't kill EDI, tali, Liara(given) or Vega like that. no Just Kaidan or Ashley.

People do treat her like sh*t. Those who're whining about "she's shoved in our face" - for exactly ONE mission. Once that one is done, you never have to deal with Ash or Kaidan again.

But yeah, some guys simply wanted to kill the VS right on Virmire. BOTH.

Ashley & Kaidan fellows seem to be quite human. In the positive way.

Yeah, I've more or less given up on most of the ME fandom and the Virmire survivors.

I liked both Ash and Kaidan. Up until Virmire, which I always put off as long as possible, until all of the side quests have been done, even, Ash and Kaidan are my primary squad members.

It boggled my mind when I came here and saw what people were saying about Ash and Kaidan. Especially Ash. I think she's an incredible character, and it seems like everyone is intent on taking what she says out of context and being upset with her because she has the gall to suggest that, maybe, just maybe - Shepard isn't right about everything.

Whatever. We know Ash is awsome, and that's what's important.



Ash: Shepard, stop. I have work to do!
Shepard: Hmmm. What could you possibly have to do that's more important than this?

Just checking in. Got on Amateratsu alright. My kid sister, Lynn, is having a bad time. Her father in law passed away two hours ago. Undetected heart defect, his funeral is this Sunday. I know this really hurts for you to hear - or, read. You not being here is painful for me too.

Yeah. To be honest, one and only one NPC in game I don't like - it's Allers. Seriously.
Oh, well, maybe it's just nostalgia on Soviet-era anchormen and reporters, with good diction and well-trained language. And no, I do not miss old reports on another thousands of tons of some cotton or schrott or clay whistles, gathered by cotton-growers of Siberia, or collected by pioneers from Central Black-Earth region to some red-letter day to celebrate something. But gee, I'd prefer to listen that again other than Allers, really! I'd even exchanged her for two days of collecting that schrott myself at +37C in shade (and only shade is beneath you). Gah! Killing Wong in twitter, it's so artistic!

I know this sounds horrible but kudos to the the guy whom posted the video. Like the guy who refused to hug Tali or save the Salarian worker, they chose the options that no one else did just to show us all the consequences.

After watching the video I went back to ME1 and romanced the crap out of Ashley..

No, I think I know what you're saying.

Allers just seems off as a reporter. I guess the codex technically tells us that she's "good" at her job, but it also says she's criticized for sensationalism. I would have liked to have Emily Wong. You know - someone who was good at her job. Period.

Allers is no Walter Cronkite. That's for sure.

EDIT: I had plans this morning, but they fell through. Think I'll hang around in here instead. Maybe post an Ash pic or two.

Allers is either supposed to fan service or a snide shot at the overt sexualization of reporters. Her face seems kinda smushed...and her proportions are kinda outta whack.

That being said at least they kept Ashley relatively intact. though I have to admit the other concepts did give me some pause.



Perhaps Bioware will release an alternate armor/appearance pack?

At some point during the development cycle it was possible to save both. The post-mission dialogue for that outcome is still stuck int he game files somewhere.

Might have liked that. Would have kept her hair out of her eyes during battle.

And Edwin Shepard could tease her by playing with her pony tail.

I've had to catch up tonight, man these pages jump quick. I watched gamer poop... Poor Ashley but I still laugh.

I've also been hard at work on my fanfiction, editing mostly but continue to write as much as possible. I just finished editing Shepard and Ashley's conversation, i've tried to include content from the game but ended up changing it lots. Also working hard on editing Shepard and James's confrontation. Made it interesting, quite a bit in this chapter. Hopefully people will like it.

Codex says many things, none of them matters. Oops, that was unintentional.
Wong and even Khali.. well, that another reporter at least speak normally and somewhat you believe they could be reporters. Wong's actress did a good job reading all those news back in ME2, I really liked them.
Allers? Totally out of anything and everything. Yeah, I know, I'm crappy commentator, but I'm not getting into game as war reporter. Even in EA game - CnC3 there was real world journalist, isn't? Maybe not the best - I'm not used for western media, but yeah - still was better than ME3 endi... sorry, Allers.

I think it's something in the water I mean in graphics (lightning and animation issues, I think) - many characters looks unnatural - Miranda, Joker - just to name a few. I cannot pinpoint on what exactly is off, but it is off.
I'm not Stanislawsky, but "Do not believe".

Why? Why artificially enforce "drama"?
As Hellfire stated - if in OFP/ArmA you have to outdo yourself sometimes to finish the mission, but you have chance to do that and do things right, why you cannot do same thing here? It's just worse than Khalid and Dynaheir, really.
Or maybe I'm just turning to old curmudgeon.
