I would of liked to have seen Allers pushing Ashley for a news story, maybe about being 'close' with Commander Shepard, or maybe about her history and just have Ash turn around and slap her and tell her to ****** off, maybe it's my own view of journalists but it seems like Allers could do with a slap and Ash'd give a fine one

Ashley walking through the Normandy on the way to see Shepard, Allers notices her and runs after her looking for a news story
Allers: Lt. Commander Williams, do you have a minute
Ashley: No
Allers: Do you mind if I ask you about your history on the Normandy?
Ashley: Yes! Go away!
Allers: What are your feelings on the mission?
Ashley: No comment
Allers: Is it true you have a 'special relationship' with the Commander?
Ashley pauses, turns and slaps Allers
Ashley: I said NO COMMENT b*tch
Allers just holds her face in shock and watches Ashley walk away

Maybe Ash was too mean, but I wouldn't stop herPosted Image

I just saw one of the more depressing scenes - Ashley getting shot by Garrus on the Citadel and says to Shepard "I hope the Reapers send you to hell."
I've never seen this scene before and was quite shocked and saddended - seeing Ash say that to Shepard... Now I'm all depressed.

I was watching some of the renegade choice on YouTube when I got to the citadel part; I just skip over it the citadel part. I think Ashley is right because whichever idiot that shoot her between the eyes deserve to be send
to hell.

I doubt Ash would slap her just for asking. But if she pushed the issue, maybe questioned Ash/Shepard's mission competence as it relates to their relationship, yeah, I could see Ash getting a little physical.

That said, I doubt Allers would go that far. Whatever else we can say about her, she seems to understand she's on the Normandy by Shepard's approval only. Harassing Ash would be a good way to get Shepard - or at least Edwin Sheaprd - to pull that approval.

I dunno...You meet Allers when she's haranguaing the crap out of some poor Normandy crew member. Truth be told I was kinda hoping for some kinda of twist where it would be revealed that she's a cerberus plant or something.

How else was she able to recognize a crewmember of the Normandy? As far as I can tell they don't where any distinct patches or anything.

Sorry, playing catch up.

If Miranda had been on the ME3 squad, I'd almost for certain have one playthrough where Shepard and Miranda get togther. Don't think Ash and Miranda would care much for each other anyway, and they both have a way of making shall we say... "biting" comments. I can only imagine what the dialouge between the two of them would be like if Shepard had been with Miranda in ME2.

Yeah, it would be hell for them, working together. Beyond Shepard, they're just at a philosophical odds on every subject it seems. But, if they're going to be stuck in hell they might as well keep each other company. Tough it out. I think they'd come to hold a gruding respect for each other. A job well done is something they can both respect and something they both dedicate themselves to.

For the most part, I think they'd be at odds and sometimes at war. They'd have cooling off periods, but it probably wouldn't take much to send them back to war aboard the Normandy.

She was in the bay where the Normandy docked. She might know because she watched the guy exit the ship.

Does it even say the crewman she was harassing was with the Normandy? I always thought she was harassing some random Alliance official because she thought he had information on the Normandy..

Well, that would explain why Shepard is awake in that picture. I always thought he was just enjoying being with Ash. Instead, he's thinking:

I love Ash, but, oh God, I haven't had a good night's sleep since she started staying in here. I mean... seriously. She has an entire half of the bed to herself. But she sleeps half on top of me. My shoulder hurts, my leg is cramped, and dear God she's as warm as a furnace. And I have to get up and go on a damn mission in another three hours.

Nice. I like your writing sytle. Very natural. I'm looking forward to your dialogue on Friday.

I read the fine print on that Ash apperance picture. It says for her return Bioware,  "...let her hair down and gave her sex appeal."

But didn't we all get the "There's something sexy about her. "  vibes in ME1...

I did. I don't understand why so many people didn't think she was attractive. She had a very practical style, which suited her role in the military. But you could still see how attractive she was.

I dunno. Maybe I'm just odd. Seem to have a thing for women in uniform, a fact I've discovered since there are a lot of military people around where I live right now (just outside of D.C.).

I don't understand the disdain for her looks either. Her profile looked a little off sometimes outside conversation, but face-to-face, she was perfect. She didn't have a Mary Sue, girl-next-door look or feel and she had confidence, a toughness that complimented her strong personality. She was a respectable down-to-business focused and her portrayal displayed that. Her bun, her uniform... her air intensity. She had a more natural and realistic beauty that shined in ME1. What I thought about her character wasn't contingent on looks. An emergency run through hair and make-up tweeked the formula that made her appealing and then for a majority of ME3 she was stripped of her confidence... ME3 Ash didn't out-do ME1 Ash IMO.

You live outside D.C.? I have to tell you, I'm obsessed with ABC's Scandal. I love Ash, but I may love political-problem fixer Olivia Pope more.

She was beautiful in ME1/ME2 (hidden beauty) and is beautiful in ME3.

If you think her bun is grandma-style, you never were in a gym. Girls usually have buns or ponytails there since it's more practical. Plus: they're still incredible hot.

Ashley Williams. The hot soldier. Hellcat on and off the battlefield. And if you don't comply, she'll kick your ass back in time. Twice!

Something to get the thread going I guess.

Shepard: Hay ash, I've been meaning to ask you something.
Ashley: What's up Shepard.
Shepard: what's with the new armor?
Ashley: What?
Shepard: What I mean is, What happened to your phoenix armor.
Ashley: Does that really matter skipper.
Shepard: Yes it does matter, I loved you in that armor.
Ashley: So what your saying is, you hate my new alliance blue armor.
Shepard: NO, I'm just saying I preferred your old set.
Ashley: So you hate my new set?
Shepard: That's not what I mean Ash.
Ashley: gosh skipper, next you're going to ask about my new hair style.
Shepard: What is up with that hair anyways, since you change the subject.
Ashley: That's it, I'm sleeping in the observation deck.
Shepard's thoughts: (not again)

See, I don't think it was a hidden beauty in ME1/ME2. I thought she was great then, and her apperance is nice in ME3 too, but, overall it doesn't out-do what she was in the beginning and I think that's what Bioware wanted to do. Out-do ME1 Ashley.

Well no doubt they have tried sexing her up a bit cause you simply have to look at her in ME1 and ME3 to see that. But I honestly can't choose between the 2, I loved her in ME1 and thought she was perfect but when I saw her in ME3 my jaw dropped and I thought she looked fantastic. Each to their own I suppose.

As a friend of mine who is a Liara fan said 'Whoa, Ashley got HOT!!!' I pointed out she had always been great but he didn't agree

Well - ME3 does not "out-do" ME1 Ashley.

Actually, characterwise I fell for ME1!Ashley. Without ME1, I wouldn't care for ME3!Ashley - she simply doesn't give emotional input to get attached. Period. I love ME3!Ashley because I love ME1!Ashley and my headcanon fills huge gaps of her character in ME3.

In short: I love Ashley because she is Ashley. And I love the image I created of her since ME3!Ashley doesn't deliver what I wanted, desired and needed to see.

That's tweeking with the forumla to me. They didn't include what made her great in our eyes, and added something new and unnecessary.

She didn't have to be the same exactly in apperance, but maybe something like this would've been a better middle ground:

Not the actress, herself, but more of that look in the picture. Not Plain Jane, but not Kim Kardashian either.

I love Ash for Ash not because of how she looked or now looks. Personally as a guy I rather the long hair down. So the bun in ME1/2 was a turn off, which futhers my point. Her independance, love for family, and honesty were a few of the major characteristics that drew my attention. I dont see her as tom boy as many people seem to see her. She is a woman who is dedicated to her job and needs to be tough to survive, yet can show her femininity and emotions when appropriate. just thought I'd throw my two cents in while on the topic of her appearance ^.^
