Just a little quick dialouge to get the thread going i guess.

Shepard: Come on Ash we're gana be late.
Ashley: *moans* They can wait, let me sleep damn it
Shepard: Ashley it's important, lets go
Ashley: Come on Shepard, this is the 5th ceremony in a month, we can afford to be late to one.
Shepard: Ashley, do you know what hell we will get if we are late to Joker's award ceremony? The others were just for politics, this one acctually means something.
Ashley: Jokers a big boy he can live without us sitting in a crowded room for two hours. *pulls covers over her head*
Shepard: First "Big Boy" is debatable, and second I was only planning on staying for a few minutes.
Ashley: Ohh? Sneaking out early are we? *sticks her head out*
Shepard: Ye we are, I have a little suprised planned. *grins*
Ashley: Hmmm I'm curious Skipper... whatever do you have in mind?
Shepard: Don't worry marine, I have it handled ... just have a little faith.
Ashley: Alright Shepard, but if your little suprise turns out to be boring I will make you sleep on the couch. Understood?
Shepard: Copy that Chief, now go get ready.

*insert imagination*

Shepard: Why didn't I buy a leather couch?

But yes, there is some problems with graphics, but it's all because BioWare don't have much resources like "motion capture" and ect. And EA cut off their budget, so now we have what we have.

Neh-ah. Posted Image
Problem is that it is their second consequitive game that is progressively worse than previous one. Should it be first installment of series - that could be explained. But now, this is third, final one. Since I replayed ME1-2 recently, I can compare it - they have proper graphics and lightning in ME1-2 and it was ruined in ME3. I don't care about Shepard's face texture resolution, bump, normal, parallax, relief, displacement mapping or whatever - most of the time I watch at back of his head or in helmet, so I don't care. I care about characters, how they look. And I don't like amount of recycling we have in ME3 - rubbing hands animation was suitable for Tali's palms, not Shepard's or Hackett's. Putting fist near mouth, Udina style, is too UdinishPosted Image and used too often. Not to mention Joker - one of most (if not most) liveliest characters in game, now moves like guddamn robot. Yeah, I know maybe it his mating dance to attract EDI...

Ushanka wrote...

But graphics is not general thing in ME. (: And there is still something strange in Allers's face.

Graphic is not general thing, but it is one of those "do not believe" points now. It's like DAO/DA2 - in DAO faces weren't realistic, but they were believable. In DA2 - not so much. Like I said - I thought we left those greasy plastic dolls back in 2006.
Can't say for Allers' - we haven't seen her in ME1-2.

Ushanka wrote...

Thank God Ash's face is fine. (:

I know, I'm minority here, but I don't like changes they've done. It one of examples when beautiful (yeah-yeah, beauty in the eyes of beholder, in all ten of themPosted Image) face was worsened by those changes. I guess you've seen that a lot, when beautiful and attractive girls ruin their own faces with improper make-up. So ME1-2 Ash all the way. If it was OFP or ArmA I just replace her head. And armor.

Quite surprised how quiet the Ashley thread is.

But none the less, nearly done with the next chapter, just finishing editing and will post in the next day or two... Maybe three if I play my Xbox, about to hit earth. Dislike the endings, just wanted my Shepard and Ashley to be together. But enjoy kicking some reaper ass, although, I think I be dying more often than them. Nearly finished insanity but I know earth is the hardest bit. Even with 7128 points (same for both). I will still die!!!!

My Ashley always has the revenant and widow, compared to my Shepard who carries a pistol, locust and occasionally the avenger rifle.

Yeah...how did she carry a widow and revenant? Is she affected by the power cooldown mechanism?

You just equip them normally. AI do not suffer from the weight mechanic. She also carries a concealed Avenger for the cutscenes as well it seems.

She is the queen of the battlefield with all that fancy kit. Frequent kill thief as well! :D

She even gets multikills with a single round. You can just see her peeking above the cover in the background. She's a damn fine shot.

I'm not sure squaddies are impacted by reduced cooldown time.

I could see Ash insisting to take both of those, anyway.

Shepard: Ash... Are you really going to bring both of those? You won't be able to move!
Ash: Sure. Some of us can still handle the weight, skipper. We didn't all let ourselves go, you know.
Shepard: You're a cruel woman, you know that? Besides, I didn't hear you complaining about me being out of shape last night.
Ash: That's because I was busy doing all the work. Just like on our missions.
Shepard: ....Uh huh. I think it's time for someone to put her money where her mouth is.
Ash: That so?
Shepard: Yeah. You. Me. Hand to hand exercise after the mission. Loser has to buy the winner dinner the next time we're on the Citadel.
Ash: It's a date.

Ashley: Well ... you said we need to talk.
Shepard: Yes. There are a lot of unanswered questions in my mind, Ash ... our past, together and separated, and our future.
Ashley: Something like that, yeah. A bit much for one talk, Skipper.
Shepard: I don't expect to mend all damage done by those two years, Ashley - it's just a start.
Ashley: Saving the Council and not shooting me was a start already, Shepard. We just ... need time. Time to talk and sort stuff out.
Shepard: Yeah ... let's hope the Reapers give us two some that time.
Ashley: Killing any romantic moment before it even starts, huh? *smirks*
Shepard: Sorry ... *grins*
Ashley: It's okay. The war is everywhere, even here, on the Citadel. There's no day where I not think about Earth, our colonies and all other worlds currently under Reaper attack. And then I start losing hope; we can't win this. Not with our fleets, not with every soldier and every gun involved in this war. Not even then.
Shepard: That's why we need to get that Crucible running-
Ashley: No one knows what that thing can do. In worst case we're just wasting resources to build some ancient machine that does nothing ...
Shepard: And in best case, it may help us to take down the Reapers. We have to try it, Ash.
Ashley: That's why I'm still with you, Skipper. You know what you want. You have a plan. Your crew, your friends, every single soldier out there is following because of you.
Shepard: No pressure *smirks*
Ashley: If you believe the Crucible will give us the needed firepower, then I believe it too. Okay?
Shepard: Thanks. Truth is, I don't know what's going to happen - I just hope it does something. And in the meanwhile all I do is gathering fleets and men for a final assault. One hit. Either we can make it, or everything is lost, Ash. That's what is going on.
Ashley: You'll make it.
Shepard: Because of you. I want a future with you.
Ashley: At least one of those questions is answered. I know what you want - what do I want?
Shepard: Maybe the same?
Ashley: Definitely the same. *smiles*
Shepard: *smiles back* ... one more thing, Ash ...
Ashley: Shut up and kiss me! *challenging, playful tone*

Well, funniest part? If we took Widow weight penalty to cooldown as 40 kg, then Revenant's weight will be 32 kg. 72 kg total, on Grade I. I'd say that's her own weight.

survivor_686 wrote...

Many states that team-mates are unaffected, yet due some reasons sometimes their cooldown is much longer than it should be. It's okay with EDI, James and Kaidan - they have Defense Matrix, Fortification and Barrier respectively, but Ash doesn't and even without (that's important) Marksman trained (I mean even invested) her CS reload time sometimes longer than my Shepard's! And he carry 5 guns, while she just two!
I understand why with marksman she had that cooldown, since she tends to active Marksman as soon as combat begin, even if I keep her in ambush, luring enemy to her. So I'm not sure - whether it bug or not.

Not sure for kill thief, since she and Garrus with Widow/Javelin, modded and trained to damage deal about 50% of healthbar on Cannibal per shot. What, really?

I'm pretty sure AI cooldown isn't impacted by weight. That's why there's no meter for them. It only impacts Shep.

That's why I too generally outfit Ash with the Black Widow and Revenant.

I don't know about you, by my Ash is sitting pretty with 120% damage increase on sniper rifles and 135% on assault rifles. It also helps if you turn off squadmate power usage. You need to manage them more but they are more effective as a result.

120% relative of what?
IIRC in ME2 team-mates dealt about 45% of damage you dealt. If she deal 120% of that - well, I believe that. 120% of what my Shepard deal? Not so sure. Maybe when I'm not looking - somehow Garrus killed several Atlases singlehandedly when I left him unattended...

I turned that off long ago, since I don't like how they waste them.
Those numbers above were given when team-mates were acting on their own, without direct orders to attack someone. Otherwise those dummkopfen happily ran from their cover right under enemies bullets. Happy glorious death for teh Emprah.
Well, you know how proper command menu looks, so I spare you details.
