I don't know about you, by my Ash is sitting pretty with 120% damage increase on sniper rifles and 135% on assault rifles.

120% relative of what?
IIRC in ME2 team-mates dealt about 45% of damage you dealt. If she deal 120% of that - well, I believe that. 120% of what my Shepard deal? Not so sure. Maybe when I'm not looking - somehow Garrus killed several Atlases singlehandedly when I left him unattended...

I couldn't find any references in the game files to reduced AI damage but I'm pretty sure you're correct anyway. I could only find references to AI weapon behaviour and accuracy (cone and bursts). Either way, those damage boosts are nothing to frown at!

Anyhow, sisters in arms! There will be more pics later. :)

I dare someone to post this in the Ashley offtopic thread. :P Relax, It's all in good jest!

I'm saving my next canon Sheploo playthrough for the EC.

I'm not frown at, just stating what I noticed.
And what are those numbers on cones and bursts? Just curios - both Ash and Garrus uses Indra somewhat strange.

I'm seriously considering rearranging my ME3 "canon" so that I have Ash along for the rachni mission. Probably I'll stick with James for all of the Tuchanka missions, but I figure I can justify putting off the rachni by saying that the krogan squad was lost in a different region of the galaxy, and Shepard wanted to get to Tuchanka to rescue the turian platoon (which everyone was fairly certain was still alive) and get the krogan into the war.

Kinda curious about something, though - what reaction does the squad have to seeing rachni on Tuchanka if you haven't done the rachni missoins yet? Are they suitably surprised?

It also helps if you turn off squadmate power usage. You need to manage them more but they are more effective as a result.

I turned that off long ago, since I don't like how they waste them.
Those numbers above were given when team-mates were acting on their own, without direct orders to attack someone. Otherwise those dummkopfen happily ran from their cover right under enemies bullets. Happy glorious death for teh Emprah.
Well, you know how proper command menu looks, so I spare you details.

Friendly tip: If you're a non soldier class, put Ashley in front. With her revenant and marksman and alliance clas boosted, she's deadly.

Shoot: Just realized - if I put off the rachni mission, James won't have his krogan shotgun for the Tuchanka missions.

He may have to make do with something else, I'm afraid. Too bad, since I don't think I ever use him after Tuchanka.

Thanks. But my Shepard is Soldier always (outside of ME1, I liked Infiltrator there). James up front is better. Or Tali's drone. Then their shotguns, then Garrus and Shepard's barrage.

The Wraith is an excellent substitute. It may even be better in some ways.

Overall best squadmate weapons IMO:

AR: Revenant/Particle Rifle
HP: Paladin
SR: Black Widow/Javelin/(sometimes Indra)
SG: Wraith
SMG: Tempest/Hurricane

@Rudy, I don't know for sure but I think the cone is simply the firing cone. I think burst defines AI's behavior with the weapon, mainly how long their bursts are and the delay between them.

Sentinel is my new favourite class for SP.

Ashley: Are you kidding me?
Shepard: Why? It was available. And it comes with own bodyguards, three levels, a huge 5 squaremiles garden ...
Ashley: It's on Tuchanka. Right in the middle of their ancient city.
Shepard: Yes. Great, what do you think?
Ashley: Hmm, let me rephrase my question ... hang on ... here it comes: are you kidding me? That's a bad joke, right? Please, tell me that's a joke. Hmmm?
Shepard: Well ...
Wrex: You're going to be great neighbors, Williams, Shepard.
Ashley: *facewalls - thrice!*

Wrex would probably be happy to have someone around other than Eve and Grunt that he can really trust. I get the feeling his job will be, shall we say, difficult in the years after the war. And he'll have to watch his back.

I think Edwin Shepard and Ash would be more likely to settle down on the Citadel (wasn't destroyed in my head canon, though it is stuck in orbit around Earth) or Amaterasu, since Ash has family there.

Ash won't be so upset when she finds out Shepard got a good deal on the mortgage.

We're forgetting that Shepard still has a mating request from ME2. That girl on Tuchanka might still be waiting for him. LOL!

*doorbell*
Ashley: Coming! ... *opens door* ... hey Skip ... wait. You're not Skipper.
??? No. I'm Rakara, daughter of Urdnot Rakaan. Im here for the mating.
Ashley: Is that another of Wrex' jokes?
Rakara: I don't think so. Now, where's Shepard? I don't have all day time and my next cycle will be in four years.
Ashley: You want to mate with my fiancee, right?
Rakara: Get out of my way, human.
Shepard: *arrives* ... hey ... Ashley? What's up?
Ashley: What do you know about Rakara?
Shepard: Who?
Rakara: Me. Shepard! Get your crunchy ass in the mating pit!
Shepard: I don't know what's going on - but I don't wanna be part of this!
Rakara: Shut up, human! *drops clothes* Mating pit. Now!
Shepard: Ashley ... ?
Ashley: Your Problem, Captain Kirk. *angry look & closes door*

@Data

Wrex is tho one of big reasons why Shepard might live there. (:

@DWH

The whole Galaxy looks... bad. It needs to rebuild. That's why I like the idea of Shepard politician. At least government destroyed, so, Shepard is good candidate for role of politic leader. And everyone knows him as a hero. And I'd like to see him and Ash living on Earth. (:

@Hellfire

Ooops! She is waiting for him! Shepard won't escape... Poor Sheppy...

Any will do, I think. Crusader works well, especially for Tali, since she has no long-range guns.

Pistols do ridiculously low damage in hands of team-mates. Even Paladin. IMHO Scorpion could be more useful for staggering.
For SR I prefer to give them either extremely powerful (Widow/Javelin) or something Rapid fire - Valiant, Incirsor, Indra. Even Raptor will do. For IEA, of course.
For shotguns there are too many variables to choose proper for any situation, but somewhat agree - Wraith is spherical shotgun in vacuum.
In SMG Department Hurricane rules supreme - team-mates dont' give a damn on spread.
As AR it could be useful to give them Falcon. They tend to shoot low, so be prepared to lots of ricochetes, but that could be somewhat funny - sort of Team Fortress 2 madness. Posted Image

I'd like to see those numbers for bursts, since I got feeling they use Indra like Incirsor. Still better then ME3 ending, though.

Too bad Ash hates politicians. I think she might have trouble adjusting to Shepard running for office. Posted Image

I see my own Shepard as more of a diplomat than someone who would go direclty into politics. Maybe even keep his Spectre status, but go primarily on diplomatic missions to try to help iron out the messes that will inevitably pop up after the Reapers are destroyed.

Could see Edwin Shepard maybe taking humanity's slot on the Council some day, which I guess would eventually make him a type of politician. But I'm not sure he'd want to be bothered with any positions that he'd actually have to run for. Even the Council might be iffy, since I'm not sure the other Councilors would want him there. Probably they'd object to how close he is is to Urdnot Wrex, the geth, and the quarians, since all three will likely press for a larger role in galactic affairs.
