One of the reasons I write dialouges like the one above is because I honestly think that Ash and Shepard (at least Ash and Edwin Shepard) would have a relationship where they tease each other quite a bit. Just seems to "fit."

Also, the ME2 romances just seem... empty. I know it's not Miranda's fault, but when I tried romancing her on one playthrough, it just didn't seem like anything was there. It's basically the conversation where they decide they're interested in each other... then nothing. Until they have sex in the engine room.

Never made it that far, because I abandoned the playthrough. The relationship didn't seem "real" to me. Where's the build up? Where are the conversations where they get to know each other?

Yea the build up to your relationship with Ash in ME1 is great and it's such a 'real' feeling relationship. I romanced Tali in one of my ME2 replays and she was a decent character but still doesn't get Shepards humour, unlike Ashley.

I agree that I imagine their relationship would have some friendly teasing of one another, those dialogues that have them teasing eachother are always my favourite.

So I just watched Backdraft for like 50,000th time and the whole time I couldn't but help but think that the main soundtrack theme would be so fitting for a "happy ending" to ME3. Shepard boarding the Normandy with Ash at his side.

I will not confirm/deny whether I cried at the ending either. "That's my brother, damnit!"

Oh yeah - forgot to mention: Took Ash on the geth missions with her Revenant for the first time today.

I'm totally impressed by the way she just cuts through opposition. I swear she actually saved me from dying two or three times on the dreadnought when some of those damn cloaked geth got too close.

I think Bioware handled the VS sub-plot beautifully, it felt meaningful and important, enough for me to go at a relationship with Ashley, it just seemed perfectly right.

Also, where do Ash fans stand on the ending  ?

I loved it, even if I understand it is very flawed, it juggles too much information and it needs clarification.

To do this "Project" we will need to set up and outline for whatever time-line in the story we wish to explore. To get a vague idea of how we want our story for ash to be told. this is how I do my writings. I have a set plan of every chapter in an organized fashion. Of course the outline is done as vague as possible to make room for editing, as you go along making the project.

You obviously haven't played Jagged Alliance 2 - Grizzly held any gun that way, always. Including HK21, sniper rifles (even M24), excluding mortar.
And he was third best marksman in my team, right behind my merc and Grunty.

We need lead writers, secondary writers, artists, a crack research team, reviewers etc. We need organizers, people who can help us organize content, direct and keep track of the inevitable discussions we'll have on a topic, someone to conduct polls, set deadlines, etc. We need to set up a group where most of this will take place. Thanemancers are moving with the #SaveThane project and Mirandamancers are approaching a deadlines for their #FindMiranda project. We should start soon to make sure we get in our bid for Ash at Bioware.

I think we need to start cataloging Ash's career, mark interesting events for possible explanation or exploration, and breakdown/analyze her character to agree on a few fundamental things about her, to make sure we aren't moving in different directions before we get started.

Maybe we need to dedicate days here, in the fan thread, to discussion to keep this project moving with input from regular posters.

So what do you guys think?

Well, the -very- first idea is to create a group, keep it quite closed and invite those we'd like to have in the group. There we can discuss about general organization, who's doing what, how to contribute ideas etc. Next step - once this is set up - is to create a "generic headcanon" - for Ashley, for Shepard. Means. Traits, flaws, habits, past ... you name it. For example not everyone wants a warhero spacer paragon Shepard (that's mine), so we need to discuss about that too.

A nice idea is - if we want to give Bioware something to read - to write three separate books, one for each part.
ME - Sovereign (Working Title)
(Spans the events of ME1 + Prologue + Death of Shepard)

ME - Illusive (Working Title)
(Spans the events after Shepard's death till Ashley receives an anwer on her Horizon letter)

ME - Legend (Working Title)
(Spans the events between ME2 and ME3 plus epilogue)

Theoretically, we could write at all three books at the same time, as soon as we have a set storyline ...

Whatever, just throwing around ideas. Crazy ideas.

Once we know what we do, it's time to do the hard work.

Well the fact I've been on these forums and in particular the Ashley thread many times every day for the last 6 weeks, some of us might be boardering on freakishness

Edit: I prefer to be called an Ashley enthusiast or Ashoholic
