I think what Danny meant by gutted, was that he gutted the Quarians.

Lol, well I let the Geth do the upload and they destroyed the fleet and Tali takes her mask off and jumps off a cliff, Shepard dived to save her but it was too late. I was really annoyed, I loved Tali (not in that way but I thought her character was great). Ash was upset about it too, she cried away, even though I'd cheated on her with Tali

Need some Ash so I'll put up a pic relevant with my post

I would like to hear more, just a couple of grammatical mistakes but nothing big. The way you write the shooting scenes and the discriptions of the 'clouds of blood' etc reminds me of the book, Tom Clancy's Rainbow 6 which I think is very good

You totally just reminded me of the Famas gun sound glitch in RSV2. Exactly like the Drell Adept reave sound glitch. Beyond annoying. Didn't stop me though, I played the hell out of that game.

And Ashley cries if you let Tali essentially off herself when you kill the Quarians? I'm right at that point on the playthrough that I've been on for like the past month. Might have to go play now... lol

Someone else who has read the book!? Damn I like this place more and more. It is one helluva read. Fully recommended!

Hey yall, first time poster, long time lurker   Figured it was about time I popped in to say hi, and thanks for all the great dialogues and fanfics.  And to make it known there is one more Ashaholic to add to the list.

Guess I'll weigh in on a few random things:

-Hey, some Tom Clancy fans!  Used to read all of his books, and R6 was great.  What if we saw something like that in ME?  Multi-species spec-ops team, kinda like Shepard's team but without the cult of personality centered on one person.  Could be good for Council publicity

-In my headcanon, Shepard won't retire.  He might try, but he couldn't sit around while there's work to be done.  Especially with galaxy-wide rebuilding and inter-species fighting.  Could maybe see him eventually become an N7 or Spectre instructor, but not a politician or diplomat.  When Shepard negotiates, someone/something inevitably gets punched, shot, or blown up.  That's how he gets people to listen!

-And a few pages back, someone said Ash was white.  I don't see it.  Caucasian, sure, but not white.  And her last name is inconsequential, mine is of German origins and I'm half Mexican so...

-Almost forgot, Shepley kids for sure.  My spacer!Shep's parents were both in the Navy and they made it work, right?  And doesn't it say he grew up on ships?  I'm sure one of the Normandy's cargo bays could be made into a daycare...

So I played the Reaper Base mission and chose to side with the Geth, which meant Tali took a long walk off of a short cliff.

Even if it was Zaeed-style dialogue still, it was totally worth it. Ash sounded like she was about to fall on the floor and burst into tears. Everyone on the ship was all depressed too. Guess Shepard is going to be hitting the booze again here soon. lol

I still think Tali did her backflip only because you've done something wrong - friend of mine did same thing as you (romanced Ash in ME1, then Tali, then back to Ash), Tali remained alive. But he complited her loyalty mission in ME2 via paragon "blah-blah" and rewriting Geth heretics (well, actually I did that, that was my Shepard, he just edited ME1 romance from nothing to Ash, replacing Kaidan with her), also, in ME3, he followed my path and saved Koris, then completed Geth fighters squadron (IMHO most difficult mission in game) and only then moved to put a boot up to Reaper's arse. Everything ended normally, well, I mean outside Legion's death and strange crash-landing of Raan (I don't remember any radio-chatter on that).

You'd think she'd at least say something when Shepard jumps out to deal with a Reaper all by himself. Same for Tali.

I guess they were both just shocked.

I think it's a reference to the end of the Reaper mission on Rannoch. When Shepard jumps out of the getaway vechile for a dance with a Reaper.

Shepard: Thanks, but I'm plenty scared of my own mother. Don't need yours coming down on me too. So mercifully, I'll keep my mouth shut in her presense.
Ashley: That's good. You died once, don't want my mother to pummel you to death a second time.
Shepard: Lets weigh the options, shall we? On one hand, I can go fight a war that no one thinks we can win, or I can insult a game your mother seemingly adores in front of her... Yeeeeah, I think I'll go fight the war.
Ashley: The wiser choice. My mum's one tough customer.
Shepard: I do not doubt it. So what's the difference between Snooker and Pool anyway?
Ashley: Are you kidding?
Shepard: Do I look like I'm kidding?
Ashley: Alright. Pool - you sink either the stripped or the coloured balls then the 8-ball. Snooker - you have to sink a red ball, then a coloured ball. The coloured ball comes back on the table if you do. When the reds are gone then you have to sink them in a specific order.
Shepard: Pffft.... sounds too complicated for me.
Ashley: Is it too complicated or are you too lazy to join the dot?
Shepard: ... yes...
Ashley: What the hell do I keep you feed for?
Shepard: Permanent couch fixture to make your sisters jealous whenever they visit?
Ashley: ... *punches his arm.* That's not funny.
Shepard: It's a little funny.
Ashley: Want a bruise on the other arm to match this one?
Shepard: *chuckling* I'm fine, thanks.

Still wish Ashley had more dialogue, but that's when I play the first one. I don't care about the shooting system because it doesn't bother me. I just enjoy listening to Ashley again, finding out about her and exploring more dialogue. I'm still experiencing new dialogue now, pretty awesome I think. First time I'm playing as a renegade, should be interesting.
