I don't get the people who get all upset that she "shot Wrex." One, she was protecting her commanding officer. Two, if Wrex dies, it's your own d*mn fault for not having the skills you need to talk him down.

Heck, you don't even need to have good persuasion skills. Just listen to Wrex and help him out with his side mission. If you can't be bothered to listen to your own squad, whatever happens is your own fault.

Speaking of Miranda and Jacob.

ME3 detects whether or not Tali was sent into vents on Collectors' base (that's not question, I know it does). But did game detects who was on Horizon back in ME2, because in my games niether Kaidan, nor Ashley (though it was friend's game, but he told me he took Jacob and Miranda on Horizon) werent' able to recognize neither of them. Even Ashley ignored Miranda in case of Shepard shifted from Ash to Miranda and that after scandal at hospital. Since none of my games were able to detect Kelly as romanced, maybe it wasn't able to detect those flags as well or they just don't exist. Assist, anyone?

I'm practical guy. Of course I miss "I! AM! KROGAN!!" battlecry and charge through crowd, but Vega isn't that bad - meleeing Brute and winning...

Well said DWH, for a human, a woman in particular to stand up to a Krogan is very impressive and makes them a winner in my eyes. Plus as you said she's only protecting Shepard so there's not need for people to get pissy over it. Go Ash!!!

Plus i'm only 24 hours removed from being finished exams and back to playing ME, haven't played it in ages now so I can not wait!!!

Yes "I! AM! KROGAN!!!" it's something epic.  
Well, Vega is not so bad, but he is like second the alpha male (first is Shepard) on the Normandy and there feels competition. (:

Just so long as Vega remembers who the top dog is, and not to try and make a move on the boss's girl, he's fine by me... though I wish I could have romanced him with my femshep... T.T

Guys (hmm, guys?), what the hell is wrong with you? If your woman is faithful to you, she will be faithful, no matter what. If she want to go - she will. You cannot make someone happy against their will.
And James doesn't look like Haer-Dalis with "taken woman" fuse crumpled with screwdriver.

I dunno... I guess they aren't that far apart in terms of age, but I have a tough time seeing Ash and Vega together because I feel like there's too much of a maturity gap.

Ash is sitting in the shuttle bay, watching Vega do pull ups.

Ash: (thinking to herself) Not bad... Not bad at all. Muscles only get you part of the way there, though. Experience counts. Vega's still just a boy. Not like my Skipper.

I must admit I did kinda get turned off by Jame's initialy behaviour. Especially considering all that my Shepard has done: N7 graduate, first human spectre, killed Saren, destroyed the collectors, personal bodycount in the thousands, have killed at least one reaper by the beginning of ME3.

But then again my Shepard always keeps his eye on the prize and shunts his personal feelings aside.

The drunk scene happens before Ash and Shepard are back together, though.

It was a momentary burst of jealousy, because I thought Vega was making a move on the woman I had a history with - and wanted back.

Realized pretty quickly that wasn't the case, though. Besides, I always feel like Vega and Cortez have chemistry.

Admittedly, a Paragon Shepard lets everyone treat each other like equals. A renegade Shepard tells everyone to keep the hell in line.

Edwin Shepard was mostly just amused by Vega's attitude. He even got a kick out of the "Loco" nickname, and let Vega keep calling him that.

Yeah Jon-Mal's like 'Meh, been called worse.' though he prefers to hear Ash call him Skipper a little more often.
John 'Hunter' thinks...'da faq does that mean?' and decides to let Vega keep calling him that until he consults a dictionary...

I'm glad they didn't over use the "Skipper" nickname, but I feel like they went in the opposite direction and under used it.
I didn't even notice that Ash calls Shepard "Skipper" during the coup attempt the first time I played through. Too focused on the fact that Ash was pointing a gun at me...

Vega was a cool character I liked him, but my Shepard did have questions as to why he was filling Ashley with alcohol.
I don't think Vega and Ash would ever get together, they'd be friends yea and share military stories together, have a laugh, have a few drinks but I don't think Ash would look at him in that way. He doesn't have as good an ass as Shepard and that's a major selling point
