Or not losing, but finding.
But I doubt they'll have guts to use Witcher's theme, really.

For someone who hasn't played the game, care to elaborate please?

Ashley: Shepard? That you?
Shepard: Hey Ash. Surprised to see you here.
Ashley: I could stay the same thing. I thought you were still in the hospital.
Shepard: I was discharged this morning. They finally got sick of my company I guess. That, or the string of fangirls... and boys lining up at my bedside.
Ashley: And your rehab therapy. That's not gonna be a problem?
Shepard: It's done, mostly. The rest of it I can do on my own.
Ashley: Is that what the doctor said, or what you think?
Shepard: It's what the doc said.
Ashley: How long have you been out?
Shepard: Long enough to escape reporters and the like, take a shower and get a fresh set of clothes.
Ashley: After what you pulled off, I doubt you'd be able to escape them for long.
Shepard: Yes. How are repairs going to my boat?
Ashley: EDI's back up and running, the drive core took a heavy hit but its fixable and the R&D teams are actually finishing the upgrades. So no more cables over the floorboards.
Shepard: Thank god for small miracles. Can't even count how many times I nearly went face first into the ground because of the damn mess.
Ashley: I hear you. Fell once or twice myself. Lets just say ankles are not meant to roll that way.
Shepard: Wearing heels, I imagine itd be all the worse.
Ashley: Wedges, not heels, and yes, it would have been a lot worse.
Shepard: I see... Anyway. Enough shop talk, I think one or two resturants might be back up and running. Care for a bite?
Ashley: Please, thank you. I am famished.

I don't know how to hide it behind spoiler, so

Not game - books. Geralt dies, Yennifer dies, but they are together. "In better of all worlds".

You asked for it:
Can you imagine situation when Ashley is not interested in Shepard? Unrequited love, or how it's called.

Too bad there is no normal dialogue between Ash "swimsuit" Williams and Miranda "Biotic Beaver" Lawson.

Hmmm... How aobut....

A convo between Ash and Tali where Tali lets it slip that she had a crush on Shepard. This would assume an Ash/Shepard relationship since ME1, and that Shepard never did anythign with Tali.

Interaction between Ash and Legion, since that never really happens during the game, and there's a lot of potential there. Talk about the geth, synthetics, the attack on Eden Prime, etc.

A talk between Ash and Shepard about officer training, and about how she's adjusting to being an officer versus being enlisted (honestly - another opportunity the game didn't take).

A talk between James and Ash about losing your squad - yeah, I know Shepard helps James move on from this, but if you think about it, Ash and James share a similar background in that regard. You'd think it'd come up between them, as well.

Also, I know someone speculated on how Ash would handle someone outside the squad talking down about Liara, even if Ash doesn't totally care for Liara herself (the whole, "she still part of the squad," thing). So that's kind of another one I'd like to see. Maybe Liara is being harrassed by a drunken marine on the Citadel, or that Westerlund News reporter.

EDIT:

Honestly, there's another one, since we really don't get to see the two interact in ME3.

Maybe some dialouge of them working together with Shepard on a mission. Another dialouge regarding the Alliance and Miranda's views on Cerberus. Another where Ash confronts her about her feelings for Shepard (their interactions seem kind of flirty at times, even if you pass on the chance to romance her). Etc...

Hmm, difficult. But possible ...

Shepard: Williams ...
Ashley: Commander?
Shepard: How are you doing down here? We hadn't much time to talk ...
Ashley: Indeed. Everything is fine here. I have all what I need - a bench and weapons to fix. That's all.
Shepard: Fine ... well ...
Ashley: Anything else, Sir?
Shepard. Yes. I'd like to know about you.
Ashley: It's all in my files, Sir.
Shepard: I was talking more about you - the civilian Ashley Williams, not the Gunnery Chief.
Ashley: There's not much to talk about, Commander. I went to the Alliance right after high school. I ... I'd like to keep it that way. Duty comes first.
Shepard: No more details, Chief?
Ashley: As I said - I'd like it the way it is.
Shepard: I see ... well ... no more questions then. Thank you.
Ashley: You're welcome, Sir.

Totally formal - Shepard had no chance to come through "duty!Ashley" ^^

I like Miranda. Too bad I could never, ever see a relationship between her and Edwin Shepard working out.

Ash just seems to have the right personality.

I wanted to bash Ash (hmm, another motivational?Posted Image), when she is back to the old, "You and Cerberus blah-blah", I really want to brought Miranda there, point at her (well, I know it's stupid thing to do, knowing Miranda is hunted by Cerberus, so it is possible just to refer to her) and say:
- That woman brought me back to life, while being 2IC in Cerberus, she still worked under my command and followed my orders without second-guessing, followed me to suicide mission and disobeyed Illusive man order to stop me!
That would be click on the nose.
Swimsuit part is out of the question, since it'll require shifting romances and I don't do that. But it will be nice to gibe that as well.

I'm glad Ash had a hard time getting past Cerberus.

It's nice to see someone holding Shepard's feet to the fire for working for a bunch of worthless terrorists.

Frankly, I lost respect for Shepard myself.

(Yeah, I've never cared for Cerberus)

I'm not. If it wasn't for them, Reaper invasion would've occured earlier and there would be no Shepard to unite galaxy and wipe them all out on Earth, they've just died worthlessly on their homeworlds.

Tbh, Shepard wanted to ask Ash for a date. However, she brushed him off with her "I'd like to keep it that way" - she's only his subordinate, a soldier and that's it. This Ash does not allow any feelings, not even friendship.

Can write a friendship-dialogue where she has to brush him off too.

In regard to Ash and Cerberus, I think you have to keep a few things in mind:

1. Ash is an Alliance soldier, who was sent to Horizon as part of a mission. Even if she wanted to go with Shepard, a soldier does not abandon her duty and go AWOL just because something comes along that she wants to do more. If she had, it would have been terribly out of character for her. Especially since she's working for Anderson, and likely involved in projects attempting to find evidence of the Reapers.

2. Ash has no evidence whatsoever of the things you can say Cerberus did for you, except for your word - the word of a man now working for a terrorist organization that attacks the Alliance and executed Admiral Kohoku in cold blood. Again, it would be out of character for her not to question you. Frankly, I'm dismayed that Shepard isn't questioned by more people, because, honestly, if he came to me with his story, I'd damn well be reluctant to trust him too.

3. The mission on Mars where Ash continues to question Shepard about Cerberus takes place after Shepard has been detained by the Alliance - for destroying an entire star system, including civilian colonists (if you play Arrival, anyway). It's unlikely Ash has any kind of perspective on why destroying that system was necessary. Just that it happened, and it happened some time after she found out he was working with Cerberus. That must be unsettling at best, especially if your Shepard (like mine) is a paragon who tries to avoid civlian casualties wherever possible.

For all of those reasons, I like the fact that Ash doesn't just accept our role with Cerberus and take our word that things are "A Okay." It means she's actually staying true to who she is, and showing a degree of realisim in how she thinks.

Miranda and Jacob are okay, as was most of the crew of the Normandy SR-2.

The parts of Cerberus that killed Admiral Kohoku in cold blood, led an entire squad of Alliance marines to death by thresher maw just so they could run some damn tests, rigged Alliance elections and assassinated the Pope and members of the Alliance Parliament, kidnapped Jack then tortured her for her entire childhood, and saw fit to shoot at me in ME1 and ME3 - they're pretty worthless as far as I'm concerned.

I don't buy the whole "The Illusive Man had no idea what was going on" spiel, either. His organization is involved in too much crap like that for it to be a coincidence, and he himself is less than forthcoming with Shepard during all of ME2.

Yes, their actions sometimes terrible, and IM organized all it. But look what they achieved! They controlling many aspects of the Galaxy's community. But as Illusive Man said, there are  sacrifices. This is very powerful organization with a nice idea, but their methodes are horrible.

When on the Cerberus station and we see the footage of TIM saying "Fill the ship with friendly faces" to 'lure' Shepard into trusting them, I wasn't sure if it was TIM talking about Shepard or the developers talking about us, the gamer lol.
