Agreed.

I miss Emily Wong, and what irritates me about that is that I distinctly recall forum posts on the BSN asking to have Emily Wong as an embedded, "on ship" reporter.

From what I recall of those posts, it seems like they basically took the ideas that people wanted with Wong, gave them to some new character that no one had as much attachment to, then killed Wong off in their twitter feed.

@DWH1982 I thought Cortez was a little pointless, I thought traynor was awesome. And I think most people wanted a vega romance.

I was looking forward to having Emily Wong but and she wasn't there, I also think Jessica's role was pointless and I could have spaced her but I kept her aboard for war assets.

I don't know, I never bring her on board anyway. What a waste. I mean are there any Allers fans?

Let me clarify that I'm not hating on Traynor or Cortez, but I just feel that they're redundant characters. Like DWH said, the ME2 shuttle didn't have a pilot. So why the sudden need for one? I guess they just needed to give Cortez a somewhat meaningful role so that he's not just "gay dude on the ship". Traynor is basically a Kelly replacement who is more of a shadow broker than Liara.

But like I said; whatever. It's no use complaining about it. Just hope the EC gives us some more Ash, in one way or another.

EDIT: To the poster above me, is their confirmation of that? I've never seen that...If so, that's actually kind of awesome.

I also wanted Shepard to be able to slit Kai Leng's and TIM's throats with his omni-blade (or with Leng's own blade.) and Ash to move into my cabin and get those snuggle scenes like in ME2. T.T

Hell, I'd settle just for the opportunity to ask her to come up via intercom. I mean Vega, Liara, Tali, and Traynor all come up at least once, but I can't invite my LI up? What the hell kind of sense does that make?

Lol... that kiss is just horrible. And it just goes to show... that they didn't treat Ash with care. I would like to know who at Bioware reviewed that scene and said, "It's perfect. Done."  - They should get fired for being blind.

I agree with whoever said it... Mars was when Ash was at her best. Well that and the sex scene. I really can't say anything bad about the final romance scene other than Ash's bra, or the FemShep body. Seriously, Bioware give Ash these HUGE boobs, twice as big as what they were before, only to stick her in FemShep's body FOR the romance scene... really?

Rushed anyone?

I had the link on the laptop, then the game released and the link could no longer find the user. I'm still trying to find a link to another website but not having much luck, if you look back through this thread. Your bound to find the link but I don't plan on looking through a thousand pages.

If you were reading the page that I think you are - you should know that there's more Ashley content in the actual script. It's not a happy thought, I know.

I got it. A cutscene plays during that mission where you see the remaining civilians running for their lives and Allers gets banshee'd. Or an Atlas rocket to the face.

I wrote a continuation to this dialouge, where Ash and Shepard discuss his college years. Literally just wrote it, so there's not much editing. Not sure if Ash's responses are "accurate" to her character or not.


(A few hours later)

Shepard and Ash are sitting on the couch, sharing a quiet evening together. Shepard’s arms are wrapped around Ashley.

Ash: You’re awfully quiet this evening.

Shepard: Mmm hm.

Ash: I know that look. It means you’ve got something on your mind. Anything in particular?

Shepard: *sighs* Earth.

Ash: Yeah. There’s certainly a lot to think about. I know it’s a mess right now… but you saved it. We have it back. And at least the people there have a second chance.

Shepard: The funny thing is, I didn’t even care for Earth that much. I got used to it. Vancouver especially, since I spent so much time there after my family died. But I was never there before I was 16. And when I did finally see it… There was always too much noise. Too much pollution. Too many “old nations” divisions. Too many people who couldn’t think past today, or see the big picture. But whatever Earth was like, whatever problems it may have had, it deserved a hell of a lot better than the Reapers.

Ash: What made you think of all of this, anyway?

Shepard: Our discussion about my college years. Don’t know if you realize it or not, but the campus  is in Vancouver, not far from the Alliance military base. “Was” in Vancouver. I understand it’s just rubble, now.

Ash: Shepard… I’m sorry.

Shepard: *hugs Ash* Yeah.

Ash: Skipper, you know me – I’m a realist. But even I know that Earth will rebuild. We’ll all rebuild.

Shepard: Yeah. But how soon? And will the “old nations” on Earth be able to overcome their petty bickering long enough to do it right? And the hell of it is… Earth is just a reflection of the rest of the galaxy. Forget Earth. What about the Alliance and the batarians? Or the quarians and the geth? Or the krogan and the Council? Or the rachni and the rest of the galaxy? It’s been, what… a year and a half, now? And we’re out here because there are problems with all of them. Problems that I helped to create, Ash. We have a big job ahead of us, and tonight… Tonight it just seems… overwhelming.

Ash: Shepard, you’ve always been an optimist. I’ve always loved that about you. How nothing can shake your belief in a brighter future. The rest of us… We live off of that. Even when we had our doubts about your decisions. And now the rest of the galaxy lives off of that. I know how much you’ve seen. How much we’ve all seen. But don’t let it change who you are. Don’t let it change what makes you so strong. What makes all of us strong.

Shepard: Yeah. I know Ash. I’m just tired. It happens. It happens a lot, lately. But I think it’s easier, when I have you here.

(they kiss)

Shepard: I love you.

Ash: I love you, too.

I can't remember where exactly I got it now. I downloaded it MONTHS ago. But I still have the full thing on my labtop.
