Don't forget possible neural and psychological damage, not to mention physical. Of course, maybe from outside he will look younger than his peers, but what will be inside? I'm not talking about innards.

No, I don't think that even in ME 90 years old looks like 50. Shepard might live longer, nearly 150 after Lazarus Project. But I think for others usual is 90.
Look at our veterans of that age. Do I really need to say anything further?
There's a Vietnam vet that comes in where I work almost everyday and he's in good shape, like I never would of guessed his age unless he told me. Pretty cool dude too.
I think what most of us are getting at is that Shepard would out-live Ash, provided they lived safe lives thanks to being re-built and all of his upgrades. Could also be a disaster though, if the implants or whatever stop working one day or something.

150 - it's maximum that one of million can live. Shepard said, that 130 - it's already too much for human, or 150... I don't remember. And not all countries on Earth became super advanced.
@Rudy
Actually, they are not so active now... There is left only few of them. And government don't care about them at all. Now it's hard to find old veteran of WW2.

Maybe not like "rabbits" but still often enough. Besides that - how do we know how old people live in the 22nd century? Expecting a lifespan of more than 100 years, up to 150 years - well, I'm sure they're healthy most time. And a healthy life usually means an attractive appearance - even their 90y old may beat our today 50y olds - and they're still active *g*MegaBadExample wrote...
So... when they're both old and grey... you can still imagine them going at it like rabbits? Lovely.
Hell, I bet Hackett is still active. I'm a guy but I must admit that dude has something women may admire - and drive 'em into his lair ^^
(Yay! Bad word choice strikes again!)In that case you have a point: as long as they're still doing their duty, they won't have much time for that. However, they will value every single night they have for themselves and ... yeah, that.To be honest, I really don't see it happening all that often as you think. They both work so hard, and they have to, with lives depending on the both of them. I can see them just falling into bed seperately, to exhausted for anything else. However, there's still gonna be times when Shepard's being all cheesy, trying to chat Ashley up and she just orders Shepard to... "Get over here." and the 'night of passion' begins, as they say around these parts.
In short: they'll be active as often as possible, just to - warning, cheesy - celebrate their love.
Again: let's keep it that way.
Their love is real so of course they're going to be "active" as you say. But Shepard and Ashley are the type of people to put everything before themselves. I think Ash has the same problem that Shepard has - workaholics. They push themselves too hard at times, so therefore I don't think it happens as much as YOU think. As long as Ashley's spending time with the person she loves, what does it matter how frequent they do it?
I'm done with this topic, Data. You always bring it up.

Huh... I never thought of that.
Edwin Shepard isn't going to like that so much.
Then again, he might also think it's better than her having to go through losing him again. Even if it's after they have a long life together, and he dies of natural causes.

And I've seen a former GRU major who looked about 20 years younger than he actually was. I've seen young guys, totally ruined. Humans are so... random...

Well, my Shepard outlived Ash. Twice. But at the end he returned to her.

Of course I trust you. Even my grandpa before few days he died was strong as hell. He was not massive, even too much, but he was very strong.
And veterans know what means "surviving". But they dieing, with every year they become less.

PV Shepard will die before Ashley. His body will start to shut down like an old athletes and the Lazarus Project updates will start to fail. That is in my headcanon only.

I wish Ashley would debrief me like that ...
@ MBE: Do you really think Ash & Shepard continue to work that hard AFTER they're done with the war? Hell, sure, they'll do. But they do have some only-you-and-me-times too. And they value those days ... :innocent:

Plenty of opportunity for "special time" then, though I don't know how often poor Shepard would be able to take advantage of the chance, given some of that time he's still recovering from injuries.

Somehow I doubt he'd want to find a reason to live after Ash, though.
@Danny
Nah. Shepard and Ash both like being dominate. I don't think that's gonna change no matter how bad Shepard gets injured or emotionally screwed.

The poor guy is in physical pain, and maybe even on medication that makes him loopy/drowsey! I hope Ash would let him have a little rest!
Also, just to officially put the "weird" level over the top:

Yeah... I've seen that one. Edwin Shepard says that Wrex should stick with Eve.
Also, the tin foil miniskirt pic that I post in here is the "safe for work" version, if you can believe it.

God... but seriously. Imagine Wrex as a babysitter though. I imagine the results would be lil!Shepley running around headbutting things... all the worse if s/he's a biotic.

Speaking of which, does anybody wish those two could've met up in ME3? Ashley would more than likely be very cautious around Wrex, and he'd be doing that maddening Korgan grin, setting her on edge.

She didn't trust him at first, but I think we could say the same about quite a few, if not most of the people she meets. And in his case - given that he's a krogan merc who she first sees threatening a C-Sec officer - it's a bit justified.
Nevertheless, I'd like to think she eventually starts to respect him, maybe even like him, as they work together. And as they spend all that time in the cargo hold.

Yeah, Bioware missed out big time on that. Could have been an epic scene. Though if you betray Wrex, he mentions how Ashley isn't around to do Shepard's dirty work anymore.
