Mate, I just ate breakfast, don't make me lose it...

God... but seriously. Imagine Wrex as a babysitter though. I imagine the results would be lil!Shepley running around headbutting things... all the worse if s/he's a biotic.

As if... Ashley would let Wrex baby sit her kids. Posted Image

I still reckon that if Shepley had kids, the first one at least would be a biotic powerhouse. Kind of like the next Jack, except... ya know, without the Teltin/Cerberus torture. With all the residual Eezo around Earth or where ever else the Reapers were destroyed, I think there'll be a lot of biotic kids born after the war.

Hmm? Where's it established that Ash doesn't like Wrex?

She didn't trust him at first, but I think we could say the same about quite a few, if not most of the people she meets. And in his case - given that he's a krogan merc who she first sees threatening a C-Sec officer - it's a bit justified.

Nevertheless, I'd like to think she eventually starts to respect him, maybe even like him, as they work together. And as they spend all that time in the cargo hold.

Very late in the game Virmire happens. I can't see  Ash and Wrex becoming friends, work together, sure? But friends? Nah. She'd respect him as a possible danger obviously. Look at how Wrex behaves... he's unpredictable.
Ash don't like that.

Shepard: Can I just -
Ashley: No.
Shepard: Not even a little-
Ashley: No!
Shepard: But -
Ashley: John! Focus. Work first, Twins later.
Shepard: Gah, that's no fun.
Ashley: I'll make it up tonight. If you behave.
Shepard: But I aim to misbehave.
Ashley: *facepalm* And this is the idiot I fell in love with...

Wrex had a crisis of conscience one time, and in my game, anyway, he's fairly easily talked down because he trusts Shepard more than he does his own family.

I'm not sure that would undue everything else that Wrex helped out with in Ash's eyes, especially since, as I said, Wrex comes around to trust Shepard so easily.

I get the impression that Ashley's line hasn't seen a biotic 'kid' yet.

But yeah, lots of biotic kids after the war.

If all Williams' are crashing tomboys? (No, not me. I'm a tomboy, just not overzealous or apparent about it.) Then with Biotics, I think Shepard and Ash are in for a harder war than they were with the Reapers. :P

What I mean is… I don't think there has been a Williams biotic yet. Would Ash want to prevent it, or try to? Keep her line pure and have just a normal kid? Aren't biotics considered freaks? I know she'd still love her kid no matter how it turns out, but wouldn't she at least try to keep it ordinary, if she could?

But is this not assuming Shepard is a Vanguard or has biotic abilities himself, different Shepards may not have those powers so their children wouldn't. Isn't that right?

But it could happen in my game and yea I could totally see at least one of thier kids being a very powerful biotic, probably gonna cause some problems at school, or at home when they storm off lol

I think they would respect each other and be friendly, to a degree.

Ash and Wrex catch up in combat.

Ash: [smirks] So tell me, Wrex. What makes a big-mouthed grunt like you qualified to run a planet anyway?

Wrex: [shoots Cerberus trooper] Having a mouth the size of a shotgun's spread is half of what makes a diplomat good at his job.

Ash:Yeah? And blasting malcontents with a real shotgun when diplomacy fails is what makes that good diplomat a Krogan diplomat, I guess.

Wrex: [chuckles] I'd just call it the other half of a job well done.

Ash: Cute. Just know I'm ordering the code red ASAP when you board the Presidium to initiate peace talks with the Council.

Wrex: [laughs]

Well, then she obviously got over it for a biotic Shepard. Yes Biotics are considered a little strange, but only because of similarly unfair scrutiny like Ash for Shanxi. It's unfounded. And Shepard whom may be a biotic also just saved the verse. The real problem is scumbags with biotics who abuse their powers and lack the discipline to control them.

It's a case of the few giving the many a bad name. And fearing what is still reasonably unknown in human science.

This! Ashley and Wrex are total bros to each other with their partially shared skill set and shotguns and loves of all things violent.

oh and I also ship Wrex/Ash too.Posted Image

There's a difference between dating a biotic, and having biotic children, though. I still think she'd try her best to make sure her kid would be as healthy, happy and as normal as she could. Having a biotic kid would taint her line… Forever and ever? I think she would at least try and prevent it. Biotic kids have a rough life. And I know not all biotics are "bad" but it's still considered a defect.

If she had the choice - that kid would be normal. She wouldn't want it to be a biotic, but if it turns out to be one, she's still gonna love it.

Edwin Shepard isn't a biotic, but Ash didn't seem to have any issue at all working with Kaidan.

I don't think she'd have trouble with having a kid who's biotic, though she'd worry about whether he/she would be treated well by the rest of society.

Ash and Wrex? Can't say I see them getting along too well. If nothing else, she's a soldier through and through, and he's a mercenary who gave up on his people. Justified or not, I can't see her getting over that in ME1. By the time ME3 rolls around...I can see her having a newfound respect for him. Wrex the leader cares about his people, is responsible and diplomatic (for a krogan) and has found something to believe in.

And that business on Virmire, what with her being ready to shoot him...it wasn't personal. Just protecting her skipper.

I don't know I could see Ash and Wrex getting on ok, I think they'd both take the ****** out of eachother pretty bad but it'd all be in good spirit.
Plus as ADL says they do share a love of killing things and using weapons, ok maybe at one point Ash was aiming her weapon at Wrex but she did the same to Shepard and look how that worked out! (obviously not suggesting she and Wrex will 'get together' but they could be friends)

plus the only time she would have shot at him was when he threatened the galaxy's safety by threatening Shepard. It was necessary.

I'm curious about how he'd even know she ever pointed a gun at him.

Ash is curious too... Has Liara been spilling the beans about things?

If no one can answer then yes, blame Liara!
I'm sure though Shepard/Ashley and Wrex would talk about that incident at some point, I mean it was a pretty big deal

I dunno. I doubt you ever want to walk up to a krogan and say, "Hey, even though you didn't know it, I was totally ready to shoot you today!" Posted Image

Maybe it was more like:

Wrex: I gotta say Shepard it takes alot of balls to stand up to a Krogan, never mind one as mad as I was back there
Shepard: I knew it would be ok
Wrex: And just how did you know that I wouldn't rip your head off?
Shepard: Well for one we all know you're just a big softy, plus Ashley had her gun on you the whole time
Wrex laughs for a second before realising what Shepard had just said
Wrex: SHE WHAT!?!?!?

I wouldn't put it past Ash to headbutt Wrex 'Shut up and do as the Commander says...idiot'
However, I don't think Wrex would take that lighty

I dunno, Wrex is a smart guy, with centuries of experience. Maybe he saw her standing off to the side, trying to act casual, but not too casual while she watched him. Or maybe we're reading too far into Wrex's lines in ME3 about her doing Shepard's dirty work. It could have just been a cheap throw-away reference.

And headbutting Ash? She's been hanging out with our favorite commander too long :P
