Ashley pulls a weapon on Wrex after he shoots Fist and says, "Drop the gun, krogan!" So Ash can pull a weapon twice on the krogan.

In my headcanon, Ashley will never trust Wrex or krogans in general which is not a dumb thing really ... while Wrex does show a type of appreciation for her based off the elevator dialogue where he says that fighting with women adds a different flavor to fighting. Wrex admires strength and no BS which is why he has an appreciation for her. But he also likes the Terra Firma guy which cracked me up. Krogan are an odd breed!

EDIT: top

@Jedi: Yeah, but Wrex seems surprised enough if he gets shot. So I don't think he knew.

@Danny: That picture is ironic, given how Ash (justifiably) questions Shepard in ME3.

Hey, I just wanted to say that the Shepley dialogues and fanfic on this thread have helped keep up my morale following the disappointment that was ME3.

It has even inspired me to write some of my own!

Actually, I think a better quote for Ash would be: "Shepard is always right, unless I'm the one who's questioning him."

I could actually see a romanced Ash as someone who's rather protective of Shep and will give someone flak for questioning him - even though she herself is willing to call him out on his decisions. Sort of a, "He's mine, so I can question him but you have to respect him or you'll face my wrath" sort of deal. Posted Image

Believe it or not, I think Ashley would also be like this with Liara. If anybody tried to offend Liara (like Javik) , I'd say she'd be like: "Woah, hold up now. What the hell gives you the right?" She'd probably get very defensive of her.

It a big sister thing. It's kinda like: "I can call her names, but you can't."

And she'd be protective of Shepard. I liked when they were on the Geth dreadnought.

"You okay Shepard?
"Fine, but I appreciate the company."
SO YOU DO WORRY ASH! Posted Image

ah wrex good old wrex. i find it funny if you betray him in me3. and when he comes and attacks shepard he says something like. 'whats wrong, Ashley not around to do your dirty work" and if you killed her he adds. "that's right you killed her too" or something like that.

How could Shepard kill both Ashley and Wrex? He's a bastard for turning on old comrades.

Lalalala.... didn't happen.

Wrex and Ashley? Well ...

Shepard: Hey Ash - still here on the observatory deck?
Ashley: Yeah ... I like this place. Helps me to sort my mind.
Shepard: Seems so. Samara used this place to meditate before and after each mission. She rarely ever left this room. Anything specific in your mind?
Ashley: Old times. I thought about Wrex. Too bad I missed him by a few days.
Shepard: We could visit him on Tuchanka, if you want to see him.
Ashley: Maybe after the war. You won't believe it, but I miss him. He was part of the old crew, after all.
Shepard: You're right - I don't believe it *smirks*
Ashley: Hey - it took a while but in the end I was glad to have him on our side. God thanks you have this ... "influence" on people. Wrex is different now. From what I got, he's a good man, he wants the best for his people. And Eve ... I'm sure I like her if I ever have a chance to talk to her. Hey, talking like that about Wrex - never saw that day coming.
Shepard: I'm sure. You're both strong women.
Ashley: Don't fall in love with her then *chuckles*
Shepard: Stealing Wrex' girlfriend? I'm insane but not stupid. *smirks*
Ashley: *laughs* ... right. That entire war is madness. But can't think of someone who could get us through better than you, Shepard.
Shepard: Thanks. After the war, we're going to visit Wrex on Tuchanka, Ash. Promised.
Ashley: I'll remind you *smiles*

Damn, I really don't like animations in ME3, especially how they salute there...

Some feel really bugged, especially those annoying dialogue animation issues.

I think Ashley's salute is okay. Maybe they have a different kind of salute than a today modern western army? I'm kinda glad they don't hit their chest and do the "imperial salute" ^^

By the way: in ME1 and ME2 I believe they had an engine that was able to synchronize lip movement to the spoken word - while in ME3, they animated those words ... huh? Or that engine is bugged too.

Western and Eastern salute is mostly the same. The difference is only that we salute like that if we have hat. I don't like, that she stays as usually and only difference is that she uses right arm to salute.

You know, that man, who animated movements in ME3 was gardener? That's why it's so crappy.

Some animations -are- bad. Like most of Jokers animations. God, that guy acts like a robot - in ME2, it was done much better. Overall, the animations in ME2 were outstanding, in ME3 there are several issues with 'em.

Well, at least Ashley/Shepard interactions are bug free while there's at least one scene with Liara where the animations are entirely bugged.

And animation when Shepard walks, it's terrible. He walked much better in ME2. And one version of Shepard's punch is not right.

Well, technically the walking animation of Shepard (especially fem!Shep and any other character as well) was never the best in the entire series.
ME1? Kinda stiff dude
ME2? Mr. Jim Pansee
ME3? My leg's broken but I run!

Femshep's walk in one I found to be the most natural of them all. In ME2 s/he has the excuse of just being rebuilt. If we look at the image at the start of Lazarus, the leg s/he's limping on is the one that was detached, so it might be a little stiffer than the other.

The run in three just looks like he's been wearing armor far too much. That or s/he's spent his entire life riding horses, or Varren or Rachni or whatever the hell mounts you can get in ME3.

And Ashley's walking animation?
I think it was fine so far, but maybe I'm biased.
Let's say, ME3 feels unfinished in more than one way. No need to go through the story issues ...

By the way, I'd love to "redevelop" the story of all three parts - how I would have done the story. Maybe I'm going to release it on my DA account later (no date yet).

I still think that would be a good idea for someone to do as a dialouge. Liara is being harassed by someone (Alliance marine, reporter from Westerlund News, etc) and Ash steps in.

I do get that feeling that at the end of the day Ashley is very loyal to those she is close with and would defend them no matter what. Good on Ash, she can give out the sarcasm and insults when she wants but she's always ready to jump in and defend a friend or crew mate.

It would be very interesting to have a scene where Ash walks in on someone giving Liara a hard time and Ashley immediately jumps in to defend Liara. I'd imagine though it might take Liara by surprise. I always got the feeling that even though they are crew mates Liara always had a feeling that Ashley looks down on her, even though it's not necessarily true.

I think they have some lingering distrust over the fact that they were both interested in Shepard. I think part of it stems from the fact that Liara is still interested, and Ash picks up on that fact. At least in my head canon. When combined with the fact that they're both very different people in terms of temperment and outlook... I think they probably wouldn't have much to do with each other if it weren't for Shepard.

Like you said, though, Liara is still part of the squad, and Ash would defend her. She even risks her own life to protect Liara from Dr. Eva, and ends up hospitalized as a result.

Although, I'd also still like to see a dialouge where Ash confronts Liara about the whole "retrieving Shepard's body and not letting her know" issue. I honestly feel like that's a point that needs to be cleared up between them.

Actually I'd never thought of that but yea that'd be a very interesting conversation to hear why Liara wasn't the first to tell Ash about finding Shepard and eveything that went on after.

I also got the feeling that Shepard choosing Ash sort of made Ash 'queen bee' as it were on the Normandy and so I sort of felt that all the other females who would be on the Normandy would sort of see Ashley as top dog and so maybe there would be some friction there. I suppose though that isn't such a big issue cause most of the other females are there during ME2. But Ash does seem to get on well, or even very well, with Tali so maybe it does come down to the issue of Shepard and that's why Liara and Ashley's relationship seems more strained.
