There is still a ban on direct-combat positions. Front line service is a ways off, if it happens. I don't know that we will see it in our generation.

Yeah, but ME1 takes place in 2183 - 171 years in the future.

It may not happen in our generation, but I don't think it will take so long that it's still a "new" thing 171 years down the road.

The way Garrus and Ash talk in that dialogue snipet, most female Alliance personnel serves in non-combatant roles. It may not be "new", but it still sounds relatively "new".

IMO, they probably allowed women to serve on the front lines during the FCW. They needed the bodies. So, 26 years beteen FCW and events of ME1, that would be relatively new.

FCW is 145 years from 2012. That's not that long. If there are no major wars or difficult/untraditional wars  like Afganistan or Iraq the US or UK have to fight, I don't think women serve on front lines until First Contact in the ME Universe.

The thread is still too slow. Ash went off to have fun somewhere else.

I like Ash with her hair down, but I think I actually preferred the way Ash's body looked in ME1.

They really like their eye contact, huh? Very... intimate. Image IPB

Well, speaking of experience, it's not the sex that makes things intimate. It's all about emotions ... and eyes are eyes to the soul. So looking in each others eyes makes things more intimate. That plus kissing.

And there goes the magic.

I hate it when I do explain stuff sometimes

Well, if I had a chance to gaze into those eyes for eternity, I'd do.

Yes, if you don't bring Ashley. Liara says almost the same line.

Agh, not what I wanted to hear. It's kind of annoying that Ashley gets overridden by all the others, and what she does say isn't all that unique. She might as well be a mute sometimes. Image IPB

It's like Bioware put no care whatsoever into any of the characters except for Liara, Garrus, Tali, Cortez, Traynor and Kaidan. Ashley does not talk as much as she should, or needed to as the only available straight option for MaleShepard in ME3 - it sucks.

*Goes back to thinking what ME3 would be like if it got another year in development*

If Kaidan would of seen the ending of Me3 I don't think he would be so happy about sacrificing himself

Lurking throughout the BSN forums, having an Avatar: The Last Airbender marathon, and playing Mass Effect 1-3 as an Ash-looking FemShep (no mods) as well Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2.

Just wondered why it led to her account being deleted. Definitely recent within the past 24 hours.

Oh I didn't know anything about that. I just assumed she was too busy to post.

I did find it interesting that Ashley wishes she was fighting with Shepard on the collector base... She had a couple of funny comments too. Something about those ninja B*tches hehe... and the creepy eyes looking at her.

What's the face code? Sounds like something I'd want to give a try (though admittedly, it would seem a bit wierd to have a FShep that looks like Ash, but not have Ash's voice).

The monostary line?

I bring Garrus and Liara for that. Garrus is always the one who says, "Sorry, that was me" with that squad selection.

Garrus seems to override just about everyone.

You know, when Ash comments on that, I actually try to see where the Reaper's eyes are. Either I can't find them or I just don't recognize them when I'm looking at them.

Ha. That's why I almost never use him in ME3. He talks too much.

He gets used now and then during the first half of the game.

The monostary is really his last mission. Kinda like the Tuchanka missions end up being the last missions for Vega.

Haha, strangely enough, I never really brought Garrus anywhere with me. hmm...^_^

Mostly Ashley, Liara and Javik. Or Vega.
