@Aurora, I always wondered how Ashley would react to space hamster lol
I could imagine Ashley walking into the cabin to see Shepard playing with the hamster and doing that weird dog or baby talk people do and then Ashley just backs out of the room.

I can't get sh*t done since my GF doesn't give me the needed time - and I also want to have some fun sometimes (aka playing ME3, Diablo3, other games ...)

I'm procrastinating on prep work for a job interview I have tomorrow. Because that's as far from fun as it gets.

Shepard:... Fine. Fine. I'll get right on it. Just let me finish this game. I'm on a roll.

Ash: *walks over to the computer. Closes the solitare window*

Shepard: Hey!

Ash: Shepard, let me put it this way: We arrive at the Citadel in another three hours. Aside from missions, I've been cooped up on this ship for the past two months and, if you recall, you promised your girlfriend a nice evening on the Citadel - dinner, a movie, maybe some time together on the Spectre shooting range. Isn't that right?

Shepard: Well... Yeah.

Ash: And how do you think your girlfriend is going to react if she doesn't get that fun time, because you spent the past few hours playing solitare instead of doing your mission reports?

Shepard:...Not well?

Ash: Mmm hm. *hugs Shepard* I knew you were a smart guy. No fun time for me means no fun time for you when we get back to the Normandy. And I don't think either of us really want that. Do we?

Shepard: ...No.

Ash: Which means?

Shepard: Which means... I guess I'd better get those mission reports done.

Ash: *kisses Shepard on the cheek* Good boy.

It seems like the movement for a better ME3 ending has died down. I doubt we will ever get the ending we want now. I don't know because I like ME3 but I hate it at the same time, uhhhhhhh. At least BW is collecting my "feedback" but how can they accept it when they have "artistic integrity".

I'm afraid I never expected much anyway. Bioware seems happy with their ending and unwilling to significantly change it.

That's their right I guess. Just like it's my right to not bother with any upcoming DLC, comic books, or other Mass Effect material.

Anyway, I can just use my own ending: Shepard and Ash together on Intai'sei:



There are no more endings for us, Ash. Only beginnings...

Ok so I've been playing more ME3 and have just visited Ashley in the hospital after she sends you the email. Damn am I annoyed at myself for ever cheating in her in ME2! I had so much more dialogue with her in the hospital after I had stayed faithful and some of the stuff they were saying to each other was really nice and I really enjoyed it. I can't believe I cheated on her now after seeing these scenes that I didn't on my first run through, I'll know not to make that mistake again

Who did you romance? On one playthrough I did the deed with Miranda and also flirted with everyone else. Ash wasn't a happy camper.

Yeah I wanted to avoid that heartbreak. I do have a playthrough where I never romanced Ash(Before I ever played ME1) and romanced Miranda. I'll probably import that eventually, I do want to see how Miranda's romance goes in ME3.

@BP93, I cheated with Tali, I think that's why she ended up throwing herself off a cliff in my game, I was very annoyed.

In my game Shepard cheated with Tali too and she is ok.

Yeah, last year I was actually convinced that Ash wouldn't be a squadmate or have any real roll in ME3. So, I started an ME2 playthrough with the intent of romancing Miranda.

Never finished the playthrough, and after getting to rekindle Ash's romance in ME3 as a Shepard who stayed loyal, I'm glad I didn't. Ash didn't have enough of a role, but I do like what was there with the romance. Ash and Edwin Shepard belong together. Not with anyone else.

As for Tali... I think she only kills herself if you let the quarians die. Not 100% sure, though.

I also heard that Ash doesn't take it well if Tali does die.

@Ushanka Well lucky you, she died in my first run through, but I've never seen it as my 'real' run through so it's what happens now that matters and so far Ash seems ok with me Hurrah!

@DWH, yea I think that was the problem. Plus Ashley was very upset after it but yet again I couldn't have any proper dialogue with her it was just auto

Well, I completed ME3 only one time. When I played, I didn't even read forums, I even didn't watched launch trailer. And I was lucky, I get one rule from ME series, "complete all quests, and everything will be ok". And I started to complete all missions. I recognized, that multiplayer affects on forces, and I get that I need 100%. My playtrough was perfect, only Miranda died, because I didn't trusted her to give Allience information. Well, death like Mordin, Legion, Thain, was scenario. And I was really choked when I saw the ending. It was like "And for this I spent 40 hours?!!". Well, at least I had one breath...

That's such crap, one dialogue choice essentially decides Miranda's fate. And if you romanced her, then it's also a big no-no to break up with her. Her plot armor needs upgraded. LOL

After I finished ME3, I felt like putting all of my Mass Effect stuff - the books, the comics, and all three games - into a box and shoving it in my closet. And this was after bascially playing only Mass Effect since late April 2010.

I started coming on the BSN again to deal with the ending. The great stuff in this thread, combined with my head canon, really helps. I'm still bitter, but I enjoy playing Mass Effect and I'm not going to let the stupid official endings ruin that for me when I can just ignore them and go by my own ending, where Shepard and Ash are together.

I'd still prefer something like that to happen "officially," but chances of that are slim.
