I am very interested in this pic now DWH, but would be worried it may poison the minds of some of our younger Ash fans Posted Image

It is a mature game. DEAL WITH IT! Posted Image

No, but seriously... if it's got full frontal nudity... don't post. Anything else should be okay.

I'll link to it, but I won't be the first to post it directly. Just in case.

And I'll post another picture of Ash in armor. Because Ash belongs in armor:

The people want boobs! Give them boobs Bioware!

To be honest, I was fine with the love scene in ME3. I can't say a bad thing about it other than when they wake up and Ash is in her bra (we wouldn't have saw anything if it wasn't there). Other than that, it was great. I love how Ash pauses at the door to smile solely for Shepard's sake.

When Shepard says he's thinking about everybody they've lost, Ashley tries to comfort him by saying she was the one lost without him.

Just the way Ashley and Shepard look at each other in that scene says it all. It was a job well done by Bioware, I'll give them that one lol.

I didn't want boobs. If I wanted them, I'd look down. Seriously. Bioware is catering too much to the male fan, what about the female fans?! Sure, Shepard's got a mighty-fine ass, but that's the not the point. Female fans want deeper interactions, emotions, story, conflict and heartwarming resolution. We did get this to an extent, but there was so much wasted potential in the romances (and wasted cash in Allers and other characters).

That being said, I think the most beautiful thing through the Romance wasn't Shepard and Ash making love, it was everything leading up to that. Shepard visiting her when they first visit the Citadel, and just the soft declaration of love during the night before the Cerberus raid. THOSE are what made the romance for me. I missed how Ash always used to use poetry to tell how they felt. I honestly would have liked Shepard to quote some before the final goodbye as well. Particularly from Dante's Inferno -  and I'm not saying that because it's my favourite piece, but because Shepard has gone through a living hell and he's admitted to getting lost and confused at points. Much like Dante did, and Ash along with everyone else helped drag him back onto the right path.

I was joking. As I've said many times before, I actually don't want to see nipples in the game. I'm just saying we could've done without the bra when they wake up, that's all. They were able to pull it off with Liara, why not Ash?

I thought the build-up could've been better myself, considering Ash says jack all once you get her back.

Best mission - Mars.
Best romantic moment - Shepard lifting Ashley's head up so that he's looking directly in her eyes: "I love you."

Easily takes best romantic moment. Easily.

Oh... well, now I feel like a dummy.

Anyway. I do agree with you, but the scenes we got were pretty good compared to a few of the other romances.

This games should have been kicked back a year or two. I was willing to wait. But the rEApers decided not to.

That's true, but I still wish that all that Ashley content didn't get cut out. Could've made her so much better than the mute we have sitting in the observation deck now.

I agree. It's a rushed game. EA did the same thing with the DA2 team: "Finish this game inside two years." I don't think they've realize yet that Bioware games aren't your average shooter.

Nope. But their gonna degrade it into a mainstream shooter and choke Bioware for every cent it's worth then kick out the shrived carcass.

I thought these games were 'entertainment' and 'choice' not mindless destruction.... granted Shepard tends to be a walking disaster area, but that's not the point!

This has been posted on here before I believe. It's OK, just don't post anything that's..."exposing".

I like the conversation during the romance scene, mainly because it is very well done but also partly because it showcases my kick ass fish tank in the background. :P

As much as I'd like to jump on the bash Bioware bandwagon, lets not forget the EC. Given the amount of time they seem to be spending on it, odds are that we're gonna get a whole lot more than a few cutscenes. Perhaps cut dialogue will be reintroduced, perhaps IT will be proven true, perhaps Ashley-mancers (myself included) will get the option of a bittersweet ending.

In my headcanon, bittersweet ending is:
- Shepard survives, but suffers the loss of his implants. Possibly loses a limb or several. Faces a long a road of recovery, but he's got Ashley beside him every step of the way.
- The balance of power in the galaxy has been shifted. The Asari and Turians are no longer dominant and humanity will need generations to recover. The Batarians are all but extinct. The only reletaviely intact survivors are the Krogan and Salarians (last I checked the salarian homeworld hadn't been attacked by Reapers). Dark times are ahead, but its up to you whether hope still remains.

And don't forget this is the studio that gave us Mass Effect 1 and Mass Effect 2. ME 3 had its moments of genius too (Tuchanka, Citadel, Rannoch). True some parts felt lacking, but the improvements made were better (new weapons, firing range, etc..)

That being said if the EC turns out to be a crock of sh*t, my faith in Bioware will be crushed.

If they think of charging for the EC, then - to quote Kaidan - I'm gonna be sooo pissed. I hope that for future retail versions, they'll actually add the EC into the game so new customers won't have to download it.

I just miss the sense of scale that one had. Two is ok, a bit mainstreamed, but still the enviroments were somewhat unique each level. 3? I loved the massive sizes of the levels, there were just too few in my opinion.

Basically avoid full frontal nudes or depictions of blatant sexual activity.

PS: I was kinda proud of how my ships collection and fish tank got their moment. Too bad its all wrecked by the crash

It's been stated from the get-go that the EC will be free, so I don't we have to worry about that. I think they're will be paid DLC later on (such as Omega like everyone is talking about) but not until the EC is out.

I just want a chance for a "happy ending". That's not too much to ask is it? It doesn't even have to be triumphant like ME1 or ME2 if everyone survives, just a "Shepard's barely alive, but is reunited with his LI and crew" type thing.

I really wished for a 'Collector Base' like end mission. The harder you worked, the more of your comrades survived.

Yes! And with the whole War Assets thing, that would have been entirely possible but it's pretty much just a giant number that doesn't mean a whole lot in the end. Kind of like the stock market.

The problem with the ending is we were never given the chance at a happy ending. All my choices should have tied into the ending in some way, I mean it was the ending to the trilogy so its easy to really show this. They even state this in an interview if I remember correctly.

Also BioWare needs to stop with this MP DLC. I'm willing to bet that a huge amount of fans rather have story DLC. I know I would. I don't even touch the MP side of ME3 now, I have an app on the iPhone that allows me to keep my galactic rating at 100%.

I also want DLC that is geared towards each of the LI in the game....especially Ash since for half the game I can't have her with me at all.

I think multiplayer has an entirely different team that's seperate from the people who work on singleplayer. The multiplayer DLC is a nice appetizer while we wait for the EC and anything else after that. Plus, it's free so I can't complain.

Anyway, I'm off to bed. Work + workouts tomorrow. Need sleep. =]

Yeah, I mean it being free is nice, I'll DL it but its not like I'm sitting there drooling over the MP and all of those people could have been shifted to the SP DLC team.

@DWH Hahaha,

Ashley talking with Tali when Shepard walks up behind and pulls her ponytail
Shepard: Ding dong
Ashley yells in pain
Ashley: AHHH! SHEPARD!
Ashley hits Shepards arm
Ashley: I swear if you do that once more I'm gonna kill you!

Okay... Know I shouldn't do this one, but I can't resist writing a follow up.

A few hours later, in Shepard's quarters.

Shepard: Ow, ow! Ash, you're gripping that a little tight!
Ash: Uh huh. So... Are you going to stop pulling my pony tail?
Shepard: What? Ow! Ow! LET GO!
Ash: My pony tail. Are you going to stop pulling it?
Shepard: Yes! For Pete's sake... Yes!
Ash: Good. Then I think we're done here. Night, Skipper.
Shepard: Yeah... Sometimes I forget, you're a Spectre now too.
Ash: You really shouldn't.

Honestly? I'm really wasn't looking for a happy ending. I was hoping for an ending that made sense, answered most of my questions, and gave me closure. I was okay with Shepard dying so long as Ashley lived.

But after Bioware promised 16 different endings? Hell yes, I want a happy ending.

MP DLC is a waste to me. Most of my mates don't play ME anyway. They play fifa, forza, bf3 and cod. I wish I could convince them to at least give Mass Effect a go... but after the endings? Meh.

At first, I played ME3 MP online with some friends I met over the internet... but now? Nah... can't be bothered with it. I wonder how much SP DLC Bioware will release though... somehow I get the feeling it'll be... less.
