it's got quite a bit, i think Ashley will involved with one of them somehow.

Ash won't get knocked up in ME3. It's complete bull. Did you see that other guys posts? It's rubbish.

Bam! This right here. But I think we'd only see Ash settled down with a family only once her career dies down first.

I really can't see a marriage happening anyway. They're both the only human spectres. Bah...Marriage, they can be happy and live together without a ring

I'm giddy about the possible endings now

I am surprised how many times this appears on the forum, because it is wrong. After ME1 either the human council nominate new human spectres, or the old council creates new spectres, among them, humans. This is all ingame information, you can get it from the asari that appears after Thane loyalty mission in the corner between Zakera level 27 and 26, the one complaining about not being able to go back to Thessia.

Shepard is the first human spectre, and Ashley is probably one of the latest, if not the last one. From Horizon to ME3 there are only a few months, and i doubt more than one spectre is made each year. As for me, i hope they both stay spectres and don´t settle down or quit their jobs.

That "article" doesn't have any sources and ignores all the facts about how children with other species is practically impossible. It's bull.

Do I see Ash as a woman who might someday like to marry Shepard and have his children? Sure. Just not for awhile. Both of them are independent people with a lot of responsibility. That's not just going to go away even after the Reapers.

They have a lifestyle they're used to, and even if they slow down, take some time off, find different responsibilities that allow them more time together it's a slow adjustment process. Eventually they'd probably get to a point in their lives where they feel like their lives are finally suited to marriage and family, but not right at the end of ME3.

Not to mention Ash is in her late 20s. She's not thinking about babies. She's a young woman who wants to have fun and contribute to society in the way she knows how, which is being a soldier. I seriously doubt marriage and babies have even crossed Ashley's mind.

That article sounds like bullsh*t to me. Although I wouldn't rule it out, anything can happen in ME3. Will it happen though? I seriously doubt it. I believe Bioware will leave most to the players imagination.

This article appears to be crap to me. Sources? None. Also i would be pissed if Ashley becomes pregnant in ME3. If you cant get pregnant by a mail in ME2 i doubt that Ashley will have a little baby Shepard. So there must have been someone else *jealous frenzy on*

"Garrus! Grunt! Go and get this MFSOAB!!! Make it hurt...Oh hi Ash...i was just talking about...about...a Reaper. Yes, just about a Reaper....Serious...I promise..."
Garrus: "Hey bud, you wont believe it. Refering to Mordin Joker is the father of...oh hi LT Williams..."
Grunt: "I am ready to make that annoying kid pay in a krogan way as you wished...Wazzup guys?"
Shepard: *facepalm*
Ashley: "Skipper...follow me.."
Shepard: "eheheh...erm...wait, there is still a galaxy to save..."
Ashley: "RIGHT NOW!!!"

I hope bioware enables some of us the chance to start a new romance with Ash in ME:3, originally I stuck with Liara since she seemed more compelling back then & still do, it sucks that Ash only appeared once (I mean just once, c'mon!<_<), but in ways it brought a new spin into the relationship, surely I feel bad she had to go through all that & If I didn't care about her I would've left her on Virmire, given the chance if I got to choose again she'd definetly be my final option for romance in final installment.

Seriously everywhere else I couldn't give a crap about. I'm going to take back my planet!

Let's hope that the other species don't feel that way as well. :P

They probably will. Not that it will stop me though. My Paragon bar is pretty high.  Posted Image

And my Shep can bludgeon pretty hard

I agree that marriage right after the reapers are defeated is sort of stupid, but they can pull an epilogue off similar to the ending of the Harry potter series that has the character aged well into the latter stages of their lives when they've finally settled down, or in this case the Galaxy is stablized again. It could be mentioned in passing that LI and Shepard are married, maybe for the VS they're watching their son or daughter enlist in the Alliance or something. who knows?

Ehhhhhh.  That seems a bit much for an epilogue.  I don't want them to show me too much.  I still think everything should be left to the imagination - everything other than "and they lived happily ever after."

@badpie  Posted ImageI don't trust that horse at all, something about that mad grin. I like the idea though.

Do we know if we can costumize the armor of our squadmates yet? ´cause my Ash would feel more comfortably in something that's black & red.

That horse is a noble steed. I should have made him a unicorn though. hehehe. I jest, but essentially that's totally what I want. LOL .... Okay minus the cheesy grins perhaps.

I kinda came to an epiphany today. Sure I'm probably biased with my assessment, but I personally think Ashley is one of the deepest characters Bioware have created so far. Although a lot of her haters love to downplay he as simply being a "Bible Thumping Racist" it's also kind of ironic that she is arguably one of the most discussed topics in any Mass Effect forum. Similar to Loghain from Dragon Age, just about everyone has their own interpretation on her motivations and beliefs. Hell, a simple Dog/Bear analogy leads to a 20+ page debate on whether Ashley was right or if she was just being prejudiced towards Aliens.

So would this be the unicorn, that lost his horn whilst bravely fending off a reaper? In that case I totally understand the grin.Posted Image

@Lion I don't think you'll have any argument with that from me (or the Ash thread Posted Image) One of the only characters I felt like I actually had a conversation with.

@Lion. Yes of all the characters in ME, Ash was the one that I felt like I was actually talking with as opposed to just getting information from. That's why I liked her.

So Ash is going to be a Spectre in ME3? Wow... I certainly wasn't expecting that.

Great job with the new thread, by the way! It's certainly been entertaining reading through it. :)

Seems logical, she afterall was involved with stopping Saren, doing field intelligence work for the Alliance, and the writers need to keep her important and relevant somehow.

I think it helps that she didn't have an overdramatic backstory like damn near every other squadmate. Posted Image
