No, I didn't experience this, though I busted my balls off laughing at it. First playthrough in ME3 was FemShep so I had nothing to worry about, and even as MaleShep I wasn't afraid to talk to Cortez. I knew I wasn't going to be ninjamanced by him, so there was nothing for me to worry about.BP93 wrote...

Please tell me someone has experienced this during their playthrough. I just saw this and I busted out laughing when Kaidan screamed. As for Ash, well I think the top comment says it all.
Screw the endings, that was horrible.

How come only the human squadmates comment/rage on Steve's death? He's Alliance crew like everyone else.
Because its humans dieing on Earth. You didn't see Vega burst into tears when the fighter crashed on Palaven.
"Members of their own species will always be more important to them than humans are." Harsh, but true.
But still... Cortez was normandy crew! Show emotion dammit.

You can't really get ninjamanced by Cortez as there are a lot of hinting dialogue options while talking to him at Purgatory. If I recall correctly, there are either 2 or 3 checkpoints before MaleShep can initiate the relationship. So unless your friend was hitting the dialogue skip button and picking paragon choices, there's really no way you can be ninjamanced by Cortez if you're trying. One would figure that the dialogue option "I'm eye candy, too." would raise a few red flags.iHorizons wrote...

It might be a good time to ask if any of Ashley’s onboard dialogue got bugged out like (Ken & Gabby’s), because she is really short on dialogue once you get her back on the Normandy. You know, get them to double-check that everything is there.

Guys, go tell Chris about any story based bugs with Ash in ME3 or any story bugs, really. Please I want to get this game cleaned up. The faithful hospital scene with Ash was atrocious because of that eye-rolling back bug.

I'd say her stance and views had changed.
That was an odd thing to see really ... Not that Tali was a quarian but that Ashley is cool with being left by Shepard. She isn't happy when it's Miranda if I remember correctly. I would have thought that Shepard leaving her for a former teammate would sting even more. After all, Tali was there when the two were together = double betrayel. Just as soon as I'm gone you are trying to get into his bed ... you b****!
I guess that Bioware decided that Ash not being happy that Shepard dumped her for Tali would be seen as "oh, see she is racist!" and not "Wow! Tali knew that Shepard was seeing Ash and went after him anyway ... Oh, snap girlfriend!"
I'm surprised so many people write that off and think that Ash is just okay with it because she didn't overreact. Her trust gets lowered in Shepard quite a bit. That's why she won't lower her gun instantly during the coup, you'll have to persuade her. There's definitely a lot bubbling under the surface with Ashley if Shepard cheats on her with Tali. Break down what she says: "Like a little sister. I approve." It's still a bite. After all, Tali is a kid when you met her, and Ashley’s drilling that fact home, I think. When you bring them both with you on the Geth dreadnaught, you see that Ash hasn't exactly got over it yet.
Tali handles losing Shepard way better than Ashley does. Tali doesn't even care in the slightest, the moment you dump her, she's off with Garrus. Ashley can't even move on three years down the line.
Yeah, but Tali making her move on Shepard once Ashley is momentarily out of the picture? … Is like the biggest betrayal ever. On both sides.

Ash does act different. And you do get different lines for staying faithful to her, same goes for Kaidan and Liara. If you stay faithful, Ash also isn’t as cold in the hospital or during some missions. Nor is there any tension during Geth dreadnaught mission. She takes Shepard’s word at face value and lowers her gun without a persuasion during the coup, then asks permission to come aboard and serve under him afterwards. I'm sure there's a few more, which I can't think of right now.

I... don't understand how that's possible if he was paying attention. One of the dialouge options you have to go through before setting the romance actually establishes whether or not Shepard is interested in other men.
Anyway, I just talked to the guy on my first playthrough. I didn't have any problems with ninjamances in ME2, and I figured they were unlikely to make that a problem with Cortez in ME3. No problem at all staying with Ashley.
I only flited with someone else one time: With Traynor, after the chess match, just to see her reaction. Had a good laugh, then reloaded and did it over without flirting. My Shepard doesn't want any secrets from Ash. Even if they're just embarassing ones.

My faithful Ashmancer and one that got with Tali had mostly the same lines, and coldness in areas. Same hesitation in the coup, I always just assumed it was the Cerberus connections in ME2. Atleast that's what i encountered in my saves.MegaBadExample wrote...

I never got any coldness, Ash seemed genuinely happy to see Shepard, and she was willing to work with him on Mars - she wanted to. There was some uncertainty at the start, which I expected after everything. My first hospital conversation was awesome… minus the bug of course.

If anything, that bugged conversation with Aethyta where she's always convinced you are Liara's boyfriend/girlfriend. She's not my girl except in one playthrough! But more importantly, getting the Ash bugs would definitely help in the long run.MegaBadExample wrote...
