M!Shepley, F!Shenko headcanon dreams beckon.... (yes, I have dreams about my head canon. I'm obsessive.. at least it's not evangelion anymore... used to dream I was a self-insert in that show when I was only 8 or 9.... and man, that was f*cked up.)

I still think it would be better to leave as much of Shepard's future with his LI up to the player as possible. A scene of them togehter at the end would be good. If they want to go beyond that, maybe a mention that they have "many happy years together." I wouldn't want more than that, because a lot of people have really good head canon futures for Shepard.

I'd rather they leave the kids thing up to us, but if they're going to have kids, then I personally wouldn't want them having kids right away. Shepard and Ash deserve some time together, just the two of them, after all they've been through.

Shepard: Absolutely.

Ash: Don’t get used to it, is all I’m saying. After this evening, the entire outfit goes into the closet. The back of the closet. As far back as possible.

Ash: And if you tell anyone about this, you can kiss our “special time” goodbye, outfit or no outfit. If you tell Joker, you won’t even be able to do our special time.

Shepard: That goes without saying.

Ash: When we’re done, I want no evidence at all that this happened. Hold on, I have to turn on the music. *turns away slightly*

Shepard: *snaps picture with omni-tool*

Ash:…What was that sound?

Shepard: Nothing. You’re hearing things. Now get over here.

As others have said, I'm all for leaving Shepard and Ashley's future open ended. Don't set anything in stone. I could live with them stating the possibilities, things that they "could" do now that the war is over and they're together, free to decide their own fates.

"Maybe they'll do x, y, and z someday, but for now they're reunited and that's enough."

Aside from the absurdity of the Normandy and it's crew high-tailing it for no good reason, I could more or less headcanon the endings as they are just fine. Ship crashes, everyone survives. Destruction ending, Shepard survives. Obviously, he tracks them down and rescues them, right? Obviously

All I would like are two more lines of dialogue. Ash (preferably) or Joker sending out a distress call, and Shepard calling out, looking for the Normandy. That would make it clearer, and not leave things up in the air. Seriously, don't leave us hanging at the end of a trilogy.

Things are a little slow in here now.

Here's something I've been thinking about: Ash joined the military right after High School, so she never went to college. That makes her a little different from Edwin Shepard, who went to college and was ROTC, though your own Shepards might have a different history.

Anyway... If Ash and Shepard settle down, do you think Ash would be interested in taking college classes? Or do you think she wouldn't want to bother?

Bet she got her higher education when going to officer school. At least in my headcanon, she didn't waste those two years - and somehow she must have earned her new rank.

Therefore she has pretty much the same education like a civilian college graduate - just with a more military focus. And think she's too old to go back to college. So - nope for me =)

No such thing as too old to go back to college.

I do wonder what kind of training/classes she took to work her way to her new rank, though. It seems like she's more patient than ME1 Ash, too, which I'm sure helped. Not sure ME1 Ash would have been patient enough to spend time on classes.

I don't think Ash would go back to college cause I don't see why she would feel the need to unless Shepard is giving her a few digs that he has a university education and so claims to be smarter in which case Ashley joins a local college to get back at him maybe taking a degree in literature or poetry...but I digress.
I think Ashleys military education is more than enough, she has a degree from the University of Life and she's absolutely fine with that...I believe

In a way, Ash is his equal, even if she lacks the higher education. She's smart, she's brave and never gives up. That alone is enough. Plus she loves classy literature - what do you want more? Bet she outsmart Skipper sometimes =)

Besides that ... her IQ is >140. She's darn smart - even without knowing burdening stuff no one needs for his/her life =)

^No I don't think Shepard would do that either it was just a thought.

I would imagine she very often has her moments when she can outwit Shepard and if you look at how she questions him sometimes in ME I think that often shows she thinks alot better and carefully about things than Shepard sometimes does.

@Ushanka: The test doesn't show wisdom, just your how well your brain works. You can be considered a genius, but really have no real life wisdom (aka street smarts and common sense), which is more valuable.
