I've tried all the romances at least once, if only out of curiosity and respect for Bioware's usual level of writing. But I've never cheated on Ash, even if that meant doing another playthrough of ME1 with no romance. Talk about avoiding temptation.

Things in the Ash thread have felt rather empty of late.

I wish I had dialouge to post, but work fries my brain. I have one or two ideas, but after seven and a half hours straight of database entry, I lack the ability to do anything with them.

I am suffering from something similar. I really want to work on the Ash project, but Iam so exhausted after Iam done work. heck, I have stopped going to the gym too. In the next 2 weeks my scheduale is changing so I will probably get more time to write and get those creative juices flowing.

I barely have the energy to apply for jobs (as in, real jobs, not this temp stuff), which is a problem, since that's something I need to do to get out of this mess. I had two that I wanted to apply for this evening. Ran out of energy after applying for one.

@Danny: Every time someone posts a pic of Ash in that uniform, I see that zipper and think about how it's just beggning to be pulled down.

It is a darn fine looking outfit and she looks mighty fine in it, if I had pre-ordered collectors edition I would have her in that uniform all the time and my game time would run into the 100s of hours cause I would just keep staring...or leering...one of the two ;)

Ash: So, I was thinking we could deal with this supply problem by... Hey. You listening?
Shepard: Hmm?
Ash: You were staring at my chest again. Weren't you?
Shepard: ....
Ash: You need help. You know that, right?
Shepard: It's not my fault! It's the uniform!

Liara: Who do you want to accompany you Shepard?
Shepard: Erm...Garrus and....Ashley, get ready we move in 10!
Ashley: Aye, aye Shepard!
Shepard: Oh and Ash...are you gonna wear that read and white uniform?
Ashley: Erm, hadn't thought about it but yea I suppose I will

There's a discussion in another thread about the Normandy crash.

A few people have pointed out that it looks like the Normandy used FTL, rather than the Sol relay. If they used FTL, that means that Gilligan's Planet is likely in the Local Cluster.

Has anyone considered the idea that the Normandy may have crashed in the Alpha Centauri system?

Think back to the official Cerberus Daily News updates. We know for a fact that there's a habitable planet of some sort in Alpha Centuari, because of the Manswell expedition. In case you never read those CDN articles, the Manswell expedition was a privately funded, pre-Mass relay effort at colonizing a world outside of Sol. It left in the late 21st century, and was never heard from again - until early 2186, when an asari science team that was conducting research on a planet in Alpha Centuari was attacked. These attacks were traced to a previously unknown human colony - the Manswell expedition itself - which was then integrated into the Alliance and the galactic community.

If Gilligan's Planet is the Manswell world, it would mean that Ash and the rest of the Normandy crew aren't entirely isolated, because quite a few of the Manswell colonists decided to stay. And it would make sense for them to be in Alpha Centuari if the Normandy left Sol in FTL, rather than the relay, given how close Alpha Centauri is.

Just a thought. Doesn't change the fact that I'm continuing to head canon a non-crash ending.

Shepard attempts to pull the zipper downwards, Ash swats him away.
Shepard: :(
Ash: <_<

Cinnamon, lemon?

Okay, what I missed during my two weeks hiatus from what my fellow Ash-mancers suppose I should be aware of? Except that ****ing Euro-2012, because I have negative amount of wishes to hear about that ****.
P.S. Played Spec-Ops Line demo. LMAO - it's almost like Mass Effect 3, only looks better and doesn't use Spacebar for everything. Image IPB
P.P.S. Ah, yes, "pre-order - canceled".

DWH: I dare say you've put more thought into the crash landing than BioWare did :P

But ya, I always just kinda assumed the Normandy jumped to FTL like it always does when it's time to scram. And hey, I can get on board with ya and hope maybe the Normandy isn't so far away after all :D

Hmm, I never thought about the Normandy doing an FTL jump. That sounds somewhat more plausible than using the relay. However, I too am going with a non-crash head canon.

LOL ^

And yes, that red & white uniform is...distracting. That zipper is practically begging to be pulled down.

Makes one wonder if she's wearing the black bra or an Alliance issue bra. Hmmm

Here's a gem. Cor7ana on tumblr wrote a one shot of if Ashley became the SahdowBroker instead of Liara.

That would be an interesting take on the shadow broker. Not sure if it fits Ash's personality but it would've been very cool.

I always wondered why Ash's romance wasn't more developed, considering that she and Kaidan are specifically intended to be love interest characters, as opposed to everyone else plays another role in the story and just happen to have romance options.

I'd like to see them release the collector's edition stuff for people who didn't buy it initially. You know...for the guns...
