Gaaaaaaay.
Anyway, read the Shadowbroker!Ash story. I would have loved that kind of development for Ash. Sure, it's not exactly in her character as it stood at Horizon, but its pretty damn badass.
Wish there was a VS DLC for ME2/3.

I'm working as a contractor for Nokia here in Germany. Today the officials told us they're going to reduce headcount by 10.000 people worldwide till end of 2013. The facility I'm working at is going to get shut down - I'm going to lose my job. In worst case, I'll be without any end of this month.
Just wanted to share it with you ...

The Ash Shadow Broker idea is very interesting indeed, I think she'd be brilliant at it but I don't know if she could be bothered with all that info crap that she'd have to go through. I still think she prefers simply being told to go out and kill stuff! But it's something I could buy into

My Shepard, John (Soldier and Paragrade, Spacer and War Hero) would be in the hospital for weeks or even months as he recuperates from his injuries following the defeat of the Reapers. However, he will never be the same. His memory is fragmented after the charge to the beam and only really remembers Anderson dying beside him. He is just exhausted and demoralized. He suffers from insomnia and constant night terrors, which is only lessened because of Ash, his love and fiancee. She does her best in helping Shepard, juggling between him and "their" status of Spectres. He becomes a General, the youngest in the Alliance forces. They are continually called upon to help with the galaxy, especially Krogan-Turian relations. Of course his friends also help out the best they can. However, Shepard is just a shell of his former self, gets a drinking problem, and puts in a voluntary release from the Alliance, and drops off the map for a little while, with Ash by his side (yet still holding her commission in the Alliance), as their try to escape the ever present public and political strife that the galaxy holds.
They turn up again after almost a decade, raising a family on a isolated human colony with two kids. Once the news circulates throughout the galaxy, he becomes a "celebrity," stormed for interviews and requested by many for help with personal problems! He does take on the odd mission for old friends, allies and some special operations for the Alliance, but maintains a clear distance from galactic politics.
He tries to lead a normal life as much as possible. His children have a hard time adjusting to their father's status, living up to it and have major problems growing up that Shep and Ash must deal with. All of his surviving sqaudmates become "aunts" and "uncles" to the Shepley children. Shepard does eventual write a book about leadership, using many of his experiences as an example, and it becomes an instant success, making him rather rich as well. He refuses to write a autobiography. He also refuses anymore awards or honors and even a seat on the new Council.
Oh, and he takes up photography as well and somehow along the way "Spectre Ashley Williams nude" becomes a rather popular internet search term
The End

I hope I'll find a job quickly - wish I could leave my country for good and taking a job in USA or so - but nope. Wherever I go, I can't flee that f*cked up situation - it's pretty much world wide.
A friend of mine - security man - even plans to become a mercenary and protect ships against pirates near Africa. He even has someone to get him in such position - desperate times.

I think the children will always have issues following such famous parents but I don't think it'd affect every one they have. Maybe in teenage years a son or daughter might find it difficult as everyone would be pressurising them to be as good as 'mommy and daddy' but I think they could also strive under it and actually make decent careers in the military or politics for themselves. During high school I also imagined a son they would have always getting into fights with people who came from families that still hated or disrespected the name 'Williams' and so Shepard Jr would always step in and kick their ass. Then I always imagined after the difficult teenage years they would become fiercly proud and loyal to their parents as they realise just how amazing they truely are.
Ashley now on 106 votes in the poll, nearly double what second place has!

Just watch out for the Navy Seals out there too. :PThe economy world-wide is a cluster****. When Greece falls, can't help but think it'll have a domino effect on other countries.
That ShadowBroker was a good read, not sure how well Ash would fit into that role but then again if they can make Liara turn into some evil, revenge seeking person I guess anything is possible.

That's it.
*sigh* I need to get and stay in touch with that Ashley-lookalike co-worker ...
Things nearly looked good. Funny, I'm more concerned about a single person than the job. FML

I always wondered why Ash's romance wasn't more developed, considering that she and Kaidan are specifically intended to be love interest characters, as opposed to everyone else plays another role in the story and just happen to have romance options.
I'd like to see them release the collector's edition stuff for people who didn't buy it initially. You know...for the guns...
The funny think is that if you just mod the coalescaed file, you get the collector gear and all. Woot for PC edition!

So.. I heard Ash's voice actor did an interview recently saying that her lines for the EC were 'simple' that's bad.

You also know where I put my money on. Kim didn't record 1000 new lines of dialogue - maybe it's just two dozen or so. Not that much.
Never was expecting more.
Currently I'm not expecting anything anymore.

Considering that Kimberly Brooks has had a few recording sessions for ME3 already... I just expected more. But if her lines were all 'simple' then I certainly don't expect an on-screen reunion between Shepard and Ashley.
