Just finished ME1 and tomorrow I'm going to start to play ME2. It was great to bring Ashley to every mission and every time I visited the Citadel and other planets. Will miss her in ME2 but my Shepard will always think about her.

I've been doing the quarian missions in my ME3 play through most recenetly and I have to say bringing Ash and Tali just feels right. The three of us have some good dialogues and I enjoyed Ash and Tali talking about going out to 'kick some Reaper ass', 'Just like old times' Makes a change for me this time round cause I got the geth and quarians to work together and Tali didn't die and she's now on my ship, none of that happened me last time.

@survivor; It's not about the direct meaning of the poem, she's using the poem as a way to convey her love for Shepard. Poems have a great way of meaning many things to many people.

Yea that was a funny moment too punching him in the gut.
I liked it when you are fleeing from the Reaper and a geth is about to fire at Shepard when Tali runs up behind and hits it on the back knocing it to the floor. Then Ashley runs up and shoots it in the head at point blank range, I do like the team of Tali and Ash, I might bring Tali more often now...always have Ashley with me.

I quite enjoyed punching him. It's his own fault really, opening fire at the geth ship with Shepard, Ashley, and Tali on board... he deserved a punch.
I also liked the run away from reaper cutscene too, with Ash making sure the geth doesn't get back up. I didn't really take Tali as much as I could've... maybe next time through I'll pick her more.

Gerrel's knack for being incompetent is one of the reasons I side with the Geth. lol Bioware made sure they had a high number of suicides though. Kirrahe (essentially), Samara, Tali, Raan, Legion, Illusive Man...

Man, the galaxy is depressing. Good thing Ash is around.

Could you include Mordin in that as well BP? I suppose he didn't actually take his own life but he knew it was a one way trip. Now you mention it, there are quite a few! As you said though Ashley keeps the spirits up:

You know when Legion powered down the Geth dreadnought, my first thought was "Sweet! Now we have a free dreadnought for our cause"

Then Gerrel decided to blow it up.

My Paragade kept his emotions in check...but after the war found Gerrel and punched him in the gut, shot Balak in the face and finally mooned the entire council for doubting me.

Totally forgot Mordin, you're right. I didn't include Thane because he at least put up a fight before losing to Kai Leng's plot armor.

Ash is a dim ray of sunlight in a dark place.

I never punched admiral Gerrel for attacking the Geth dreadnought while Ash, Tali and my Shepard were still inside the dreadnought but next time I will punch him for what he did.

First playthrough I never punched Gerrel. I was thinking about it, but was also thinking I need his ships for Earth, so punching him might not help.
Second run through, no hesitation what so ever!

That's what I felt first time I played it. I refused to punch him on my second playthrough as well but now when I'm going to play ME3 on my PC I'm going to punch him. Will not hesitate.

It was just ME3's handling of Ashley that got under my skin. I was annoyed with the way the wrote the character. Specifically, BW pushed the Cerberus suspicion angle a bit too much. They had it where even after she wakes up in the hospital she still needs some final reassurance that you not Cerberus. It's like: I don't know Ash, I only blew up the base TIM wanted, stole his ship and best crew - along with the most advanced AI in Council Space - so I could turn it all over to the Alliance for a major technology haul. Then on Mars, I killed 50 or so of them, had an argument with the man again, and then, if you remember, the two of us, Jimmy, and Ol'Blue Everything (who totally vouches for me) trashed his shuttle and sexy spy droid. So he responded by having his sexy spy droid dribble your head against the side of burning shuttle just to mess with me a bit. I'd say, I am no longer Cerberus. (That's not including EDI shanghaiing the the sexy spy droid and her earlier zetabytes-of-Joker's-porn caper!)

Shepard also blew up an entire star system before returning to the Alliance and handing over that ship. At least he did in my playthrough, since I did Arrival. The whole reason he came back - and turned over the Normandy and everything - was because the Batarians wanted his skin and he wanted to avoid sparking a war.

I think I'd have a very difficult time trusting someone who returned from Cerberus after killing an entire star system, no matter what they've done since. Especially knowing Cerberus' knack for lying and manipulating people. They like to use sleepers, and I wouldn't put it past them to allow an agent to kill some of their own just to get someone close to the Council or in a key position in the Alliance. They're also top notch at subversion and have access to advanced tech, and I wouldn't be surprised if that person were suffering from some form of brainwashing, or if Cerberus had some sort of control over them that they relent periodically to make them look like they're out of Cerberus.

I personally like the fact that Ash had such a hard time trusting Shepard. If I were involved with someone, I think I'd need a lot of convincing  to trust them again if they vanished for a few years, then returned from working for a godd*mn terrorist group known for attacking my country. What upsets you is just Ash being one of the few characters to actually act realistic, to me.

I had no idea you could even punch Admiral Gerrel. I've always agreed with him that the mission parameters changed and to just warn me next time. Plus, one would think that if you decked him, it might make it harder to talk him out of annihilating the geth.

hey, me too. Just giving a reason why Tali and Liara are rather popular LI's compared to Ash. There is more to it than "shes a racist!!!" phenomenon.

I was really bad, I've punched him every time. Also yelled at the Qurian's to end the war.
But was way too nice to the crew, I even tried to get traynor in the bed just to see the dialogue it was hilarious.
