I just wanted to say hi to all my fellow Ash lovers out there. I've been a huge fan of Ms. Williams for a long time now. I've been a ghost around these forums just stopping by here and there, seeing what's going on. I started playing Mass Effect 1 a few months after its PC release and have been hooked ever since.
 
Like many here in the Ashley thread, I've been going through a serious Williams withdrawal. I absolutely can not wait to play ME3 and have Ash in my squad once more. And of course to witness the end of the greatest gaming trilogy I have ever experienced. I hope time really does fly, 7 months seems like a long ways away.

I am really not one to speculate or voice my opinion on how a video game romance should end. I just want it to be happy...well as happy as it can be. Although I can imagine that it will probably be very bittersweet.

By the way, to all of you who posted their artwork of Ashley, thank you. Your work is amazing. We really do have some talented individuals out there.

Hold on a second....are you telling me theres a chance Kirahhe can live? out of all 50 of my ME1 playthoughs he has died without fail, desipite trying every combination of every variation. Also while the salarian thing might be good for her character, even though its never brought up or has any real impact, I like to let her set the bomb. So that way when Shepard goes to pick her up, he picks her up and throw her over his sholdurs like a bad a** and walks to the Normandy. I can't help but squeel at the sight >.<.

Same here. I have my paragon Shep always pick her up at the bomb side.

You can save Kirrahe and his team even if Ashley is with you and Kaidan is with them.

There is a side mission on Virmire. You can find all the info here: masseffect.wikia.com/wiki/Virmire:_Assisting_Kirrahe%27s_Team

If you do all of this the Paragon way then Kirrahe and his men (not all of them) will survive. Sadly Kaidan is among the casualties regardless if you help Kirrahe or not.

Yeah, what you need to do is: take out the Geth communications tower, take out the Geth flyers, and just disable the alarms. (pick the options that says something like 'they have enough trouble...we can handle it')

Do all of the above, and he'll live - regardless who & where you choose to pick up. (i.e. the VS)

Showing us Ash in armor can hardly be considered a spoiler. Casey could just post a pic like the one of Vega in casual clothes just that it is Ash in armor this time around. No harm done in my opinion.

I am not asking him to reveal major plot points or parts of the romance options and scenes.

You can also talk to him afterwards on the Normandy. Go to the hangar bay after the debriefing. He and his men are left of Wrex.

I always thought Ashley hated being firemans carried to the ship which is why I send her with them. To saveKirahee you have to do all the diabling things (scramble their comunications, destroy their statelite uplink, destroy their air support and don't sound the alarms on the side here the salarians are. but yeah Ashley leading the slarians is amazing since you can hear her over the comms.

Captain K. always used to die in my playthroughs too, until I realized you had to take a right turn on that walkway to the Geth Flyer refueling station

while we're on the subject of Ashely leading salarians, how does everything think Ashley would react to *leading* a multispecies team?

I already have her doing that in my story and they respect her for her work with Liara, Wrex, Garrus, and Tali and how she worked with the Salarians (She has some STG agents who Kirahee recommended for her ship.

I don't need Ashley to lead the salarians to have development and show her leadership abilities. I already know she is could be a great leader from her record and the marines that said she was "tough but fair" and a good leader.

I'll concede your point about Kirrahe and the STG.... but saving the person with the salarians as more important? I can't get behind that.... as opposed to some... other... things.

The bomb MUST be the priority to ensure that Saren's genophage cure and krogan clones don't make it off of virmire. If you leave Ashley (or Kaidan) and her (his) two marines behind to fight waves of geth, there's no way to make sure the bomb goes off. I mean, Ash and those marines would easily get wiped out and the geth can hack virtually anything. They could easily stop the bomb's countdown sequence. Whereas, if you go and save Ash at the bomb site... not only to you save your LI, you also secure the bomb site, leaving no chance for the bomb to be deactivated.

What are you accomplishing by saving Ash if she's with the salarians? You're not getting the salarian support by saving them... as you save them no matter which way you go.

actually Kirahee said once it's armed nothing can stop it since it's an overload ofa drive core. Once Ashley/or Kaidn activate it it's going to go fof hich is why I save the Salarians (even though they show up by Ashley's station anyway) plus Saren goes wherever shepard does he'd look pretty stupid going to the bomb if She was helping ashley with the Salarians. It hink it's also a good lesson that her dog bear analogy doens't always hold up sing the STG unit is ready to die so the normandy crew can get away. I'd love it if she mentions that if you sent her with the Salarians back in ME1.
