Honestly, given what's shown in the destroy high EMS, there's no reason there wouldn't be a reunion at some point.  I mean, they literally took my original destroy headcannon, and removed all the hard parts.  it's a straight shot, and I'm just a bit puzzled why they didn't just go ahead and include a brief one.

So yeah, no spoilers, but a headcannon reunion is rediculously easy now...

Whoa hold up, I just played it and got my breath scene at the end but did I do something wrong cause I didn't get a single Ashley line! What the hell happened?

I don't think you need the relays for that.  It looked like Normandy was using FTL to get away, not the relay.

Did you restart before Cronos? And did you take her with you on the run towards the beam? That's the only time she opened her mouth. Don't know why KB was required in the studio more than once for that.

They showed baby Krogan in the future, but not Shepard himself?

That makes me think Shepard didn't make it. He died. They all ran away and forgot him, and he bled out on earth.

No to each of those, but if that's all she said then I'm not going to go back and re-do it just for that! I thought we were actually gonna get some lines from her? All I got was when she told Joker to leave the Crucible! What happens if you start before Cronos?

In all fairness the Shepley scene when they're running towards the beam is a good one. Worth it for that at least.

You have to play before Cronos.

You're so bleak.   For starters, they didn't show him because all those slides are renderings, and each player customizes their shepard.  So they couldn't produce slides for him/her.  Also, the file is called Shepard lives, not shepard might be alive or shepard bleeds out.  Other reasons I don't want to list because I'm not sure about posting spoilers yet, but even Tully Ackland says the last scene is to reveal that Shepard isn't dead

Awh well. The ending is an improvement at least. Still not what I was hoping for, and still bitter for me anyway.

Running towards the beam was very touching. Poor Ash.

Ok so I understand there is one scene I didn't get but I'll re-right that wrong later, apart from that, personally I'm gutted with the EC, yea it adds some extra and is a bit better than original endings but I can't believe I waited over 3 months for that!

I meant in the part before the ending. I wonder if BW used that opportunity and reintroduced dummied / bugged out content for Ash since it's in the game already.

BTW: still not available in Europe. What the heck is going on?

Are we allowed to post spoilers from the EC yet? Because I think one of my favorite Ash scenes is from it (and not the one where the Normandy comes to get her).




Sigh... SPOILERS:
I think I really love the scene when she starts to put the Shepard plaque up (which she'll do straight away in the control/synth endings), then stops and gets this look in her eye like she knows he's not dead. Which he's not. It's that scene that lets me know they're going to be together, even if we're not shown that.

Which is really all I needed from this ending.

Yea I'll agree with you there. I did like that and cause Shepard is alive (in most peoples game from what I read on here) then it seems likely they will be together. But I expected a bit more KB and Ashley dialogue, there was so little it's unbelievable! But Shepard is alive, the crew are coming home and in my game they'll be reunited so I guess I'm happy enough in general

I've also watched the other endings, I choose destroy, but I think EC makes them a bit better. I could actually be tempted next time to do choose control after seeing the EC for it. But destroy still seems like the only right choice. However, I don't think the EC gives those who choose it as much as it gives to people who picked the other endings because EC doesn't include anything with your Shepard surviving or being with LI and that was a pretty major part of the destroy ending yet it's not included. I suppose though the breath scene still happens after that so they probably argue you are alive but your crew just doesn't know it yet. Although that was something I hoped they would mention or have an extra scene in the EC about.

The good thing about the destruction ending in the EC: it allows me to continue my on-hold-fanfiction without changing too much. Which is a good sign ...

@Data; Just the memorial scene with Shepard dead. EDI hugs Ashley and it's soooo... sad. I feel bad for Ash, I really do. I can't bring myself to pick anything but destroy knowing that she has to go through all that again. Blah, the girl will be destroyed if Shepard dies.

Guess so - Ash can't take Shepard's death.

I'll headcanon EDI being alive at some point later in my headcanon. She dies in the destruction ending, right? Are the Geth shown as getting destroyed too?

Not sure if Ashley got new lines, but it appears she has no new after the Geth Dreadnaught. Maybe I need a fresh playthrough to unlock her new lines (if there are any).
