I played it with 52% readiness(haven't touched MP in a month and i played a little bit of ME:Infiltrator) and when chose Destroy, i got the "breath" scene as well as Ashley not putting up the nameplate.

One thing i was kinda bummed about the memorial scene was the nameplate just says "Commander Shepard". If they had included your Shepard's first name then that would've added a nice personal touch to the scene.

I had 88%, only because I got bored and needed a refresh in combat so I didn't laugh at my failures when I played the EC.
The problem with the first name is that the length varies and makes it difficult to actually put it on there.
Plus he's known as commander Shepard, you don't abbreviate the rank.

EDIT: Anderson is known as David Anderson, not so much admiral. He has always been called Anderson. I think that's why his is abbreviate and not Shepard's.

EDIT: Oh and one more thing, what was with the echo when star kid was talking? Felt like I was at a church service or something, with everyone repeating after the Pastor or something. That was quite annoying.

And I thought it's because I replaced my headphones...

Because of forum rules that is all I can say about EC:

Put as much asterisks as you see fit. Image IPBImage IPB

There is no such rank in Codex. Simply none. There are Lieutenant-Commander and Staff-Commander. And as long as you not female, with red hair, blue eyes and named Leliana, I expect consistency.

@Rudy Lis He is known as commander Shepard, it's why his name is like that. The first name can change and that's why it doesn't have the first name but his rank as commander.

It still would have added a personal touch to finally have your first name actually do something.

If you put rank - put it accordingly. If you don't place rank (like rest of the crew), then don't. Be consistent. They could easily took name from your character file, since that scene is rendered real-time, not some blurry video cutscene.

It would have been nice, but it didn't happen. My little sister called her Shepard. (Matthew Edward John Shepard) I don't think that would fit, plus. I dont think it actually managed to type that all in but she maxed it out I think.

Its a video game, not the end of the world. Bioware did a good job with the extended cut and I'm happy.

My fanfic has been utterly destroyed but I don't mind. Overall, I'm satisfied with the EC. Some quality Shepley moments goes a long way. I honestly want to start a whole new playthrough now, the want to replay it again is kind of itching again. :D

Don't stop writing your story because of this.  Keep writing.  That's all I gotta say.

Nuh-uh. It wasn't good job. It full of recycling and idiocy. You can close your eyes for that - I don't. I had enough of that throughout whole game. And I even do not want to begin to try to understand how come CDPR for less than a year gave us 4 hours of content (not to mention other things), while they for about 25% of that time weren't able to give us at least hour? How many people actually were working on it, 1.5?
Well, if you not considered adult in that area where you live or you don't like obscene words, don't listen to this. But it reflects my opinion on existing situation.

If you're referring to BP93, good. :)  I make it a point to encourage people to write.

And if you're referring to my stuff, thank ya.

@IIiyaMoroumetz Referring to both, I'm writing my own fiction but my beta reader dropped me. Doesn't bother me, just means I take a little longer in editing. I have to triple check everything to make sure it's good.

Ran through the EC with three different Shepards. First two games had Liara telling Joker it was time to go. The third game had Ashley in that role instead. Only thing I can think of is that I heavily favored Ashley in that playthrough. She was more firm with Joker while Liara was more sympathetic.

Ashley: "Joker ... it's time to go."

Liara: "Jeff ... we need to go."

What did Garrus have to say?

The "pickup scene" attempted to fill in a plot hole but it also kind of created one in the process. How the hell does the Normandy make that quick of a pickup, essentially coming in from out of nowhere? The scene with Ash though was gut wrenching. Damn it, she wanted to finish the job! There should have been a "goodbye kiss" though. But I had a Backdraft moment right there so it wasn't all bad. Ashley getting hauled away while Shepard continues on: "That's my boyfriend, god damn it!" LOL.... (if you've never seen that movie, then either do so or just stab yourself in the eyes, repeatedly)

As much as I absolutely love that scene (Ash clearly didn't want to leave Shepard  - so many feelings!) in terms of overall pacing it felt really off, it flowed much better and felt more tense when Shepard was running like he couldn't stop for a second because of the lasers and you had no idea what was happening to anyone, and then Shepard wakes up alone. I think it would have flowed better if they had a team member get hurt back at the Thanix Missiles, then had Shepard go on and do the run to the Conduit as with the Hammer but minus his personal squad. IDK. Great scene though, I hope it hits youtube sometime soon if it's not already up so I can enjoy it without having to go back and play the game again (that final part on Earth really wears me out, I don't think I can face it on Insanity again).
+ I've heard the friendship verison of this scene between Ash and Femshep is also very moving
