Who's writing up a reunion story? I neeeeeeeed one. Can anybody even imagine  their reunion? I can't. Probably very emotional and passionate, like most of their scenes. Except this one will take the top spot by FAR, I'm sure.

Only if you accept that I bring back EDI + Geth in that one.

And yeah, it WAS PERFECT. Except the dying.

Interesting posts and dialogues from everyone . I'm going to start to write my Shepard/Ash/Crew reunion tomorrow . I know how to start it so I'm looking forward to tomorrow but it's going to take some time to finish it. Might take couple of days.

Shepard ended the war, and since that day he used his new privileges as ambassador of the Alliance and still Spectre to have naked meetings. It's also said Admiral Hackett found his sixth wife while the nude-wedding of Commander Shepard and Ashley Williams, now known as Ashley Shepard-Williams.  To be honest, they're still argueing over that name.

Just read through the past few pages.

I still think I'll be satisfied with the EC. But that's more or less it. It won't make the endings "good," just change from an "F" to a "C." Make them "acceptable."

The endings still won't feel like Mass Effect, especially the Star Brat portion. And it irritates me that we're stuck with synthetics being the "problem" when the geth always only tried to defend themselves, and when one of the whole points of Mass Effect was to establish races with stereotypes that their individual members frequently fail to meet.

The whole "inevitable cycle" thing is hogwash. For the time being, I imagine Star Brat as lying, deluded, or stuck in some sort of logic loop. "Inevitable cycles" don't feel like Mass Effect to me. Mass Effect was always triumphant. Mass Effect was always about showing how nothing is inevitable, how we can take our own godd*mn fate into our own hands, even against the Reapers.

I want to see where Bioware goes with their future DLC - maybe they can expand on things more, use new story elements to make things more acceptable. I might eventually consider returning to what I did in the past, and just stopping every playthrough when I get to Star Brat, though.

I'll have to see how I feel about the destroy ending, because neither of the other two are even remotely acceptable to me. Looking forward to a reunion with Ash. Already working out how it will go with my headcanon for Edwin Shepard.

I think he's actually in stasis after the breath scene. He was badly burned, and barely clinging to life, just his cybernetic implants keeping him hanging on. The docs didn't know who he was (his dog tags were missing, and no time to run a DNA test) so they stuck him in a stasis pod with some other bad cases to work on him when they're not being flooded with casualties.

Overall, I'm satisfied with the EC, but I was really hoping for a LI reunion, without having to head-canon one.

Believe me, you aren't alone. I was pretty disappointed that I never got a reunion scene, just a bitter sweet memorial scene. My brother came into the room with toasties straight after I completed it, I said, "Get that away from me."

I was PISSED.

@DWH1982: From headcanon, Ive always seen starbrat as a damaged AI, who, like all technology, has simply become degraded over the eons and countless cycles of Reaper harvests. Perhaps he was the first advanced AI of a intelligent species, who rebelled against his masters and transformed them into the first Reapers (*spoiler*If I remember correctly, he says something similar along those lines anyway.) However, in this conflict, he became damaged and his memory warped, thus forming his logic of technological singularity and harvesting advanced civilizations.

Also, I just watched the Destroy ending on Low EMS...and now I'm depressed. I knew it was a bad idea.

I'd like to see a Virmire Surviver DLC for ME3, seeing as how we didn't get one with ME2, and seeing as how the VS role in ME3, especially after the coup, and especially for Ash, kinda falls apart.

The whole Leviathan of Dis DLC sounds interesting, but it also sounds like another mission we'll be forced to bring Liara on. I want to like Liara, but every time they force her on me for another mission, it makes me want to hate on her.

Give us a DLC for the VS for a change. One that lets us explore what they did when they were away from Shepard.

And no, you guys are not alone. I would have loved to see a reunion scene, but it didn't happen. However, I know Ash believes Shepard is still alive and THAT is good enough for me. She's not devastated ...
