As far as I know, there is no dialog bugs related to Ashley.  Ashley just doesn't have much dialog on the Normandy.  Each squad mate had a line count budget.  Though Ashley has the same budget as Kaidan, the writer for Ashley decided to use the budget more on the Citadel than the Normandy, so she doesn't have as much to say between missions, but she has more to say during her Citadel moments.

Kaidan has the same bloody citadel moment.

Kaidan has three conversations on the Normandy, with lengthy dialogue, has more to say, and has a twice as long goodbye, AND another branch on the dialogue wheel in the romance scene, and in the docking bay (I'm sure there's more).

Her new writer made a mistake there, and by saying that she focuses more on "Captain" than "Skipper" which is BS, IMO. She doesn't focus on either really, it's always "Commander." -.-

It really gets on my t*ts that BW didn't let Ash use the nickname Skipper, not even if you're in a previous romance with the girl. Ugh.

My money is still on the little idea, Kaidan and Ashley had ONE budget at same level as Garrus had.

And someone decided to spend two third on Kaidan and one third on Ashley. I don't mind the extras for Kaidan, but I wished the VS budget would have been 150% of Garrus' budget for justice.
Great, now I feel p*ssed again.
Was a crappy day. And it's not going to be better: semifinal Germany:Italy - and Germany didn't defeat Italy for a long series of important matches ... yeah ... so it's going to end to day I'm sure.


MBE: BW forgot a lot when it comes to Ashley. I'm surprised they didn't forget her in ME3!CE ... ^^

In all honesty, Ashley's Citadel conversations are bloody boring. Her ME1 conversations were 10x more interesting.

Well, Ashley lives mostly in my headcanon the way I'm used to know her.

Which also gives me the idea that 50% of the love for Ash is love for Ash you guys don't know since she's part of my imagination.

That makes me sad.

I was forced to turn on my notebook, because something strange happened to my PC.

So, off-topic, maybe you'll have any ideas : when I want to get on any bioware sites, I'm getting redirected somewhere else, looks a little bit suspicious. I'd shot for some malware, but the rest of sites is working properly, and no signs of infection were given. Have you seen something like that?

And It's not a ban, as we can see, lol.

I had something clever to say to answer your question, but I won't for I don't want to get banhammered.

I started the femshep run I said I was going to do, I'm at Mars now but had to save because I gotta go somewhere in a half hour. Already sucks though, no Ash. I don't feel like starting a whole new ME2 game, go through Genesis, then complete ME2 again, just to save Ash though. I might just send Kaidan to Hackett just to spare the "You're not Ashley!" thoughts. If I take Kaidan on the turian bomb mission, I think I'll cry. ... IIRC I romanced Garrus with this Shepard so I think I'm good on that end of things. I don't know, I forget. LOL 


Though I must say, I don't know who's boobs are more ridiculous. Ash's or Femshep's in the N7 armor. Talk about distracting from the gameplay.

Well I'm playing this one so I can do the control ending. Couldn't bring myself to play as a male Shepard without romancing Ash, so that means I couldn't choose control otherwise...yeah, you get the idea. So femshep it is. I hear the Garrus romance is apparently pretty good though.

And to answer your question, let's just say the word 'stink' comes into play...

Yeah, the Garrus romance is good in ME3. In ME2 it's so forced, it feels wrong. Garrus is a good guy, but I can't understand why a woman would be attracted to him and pressure him into a relationship. Garrus has your back no matter what. He doesn't need to break your back.

As for control, I'm in the same boat - I can't pick it with my Ash-mance. The thought of her going through that again... blah. I know she won't ever recover and it sucks. It's even worst when you see the memorial scene, and you see the way she holds his plaque and places it on the wall.

Destroy all the way.

I havn't seen or read all the interviews.. Is bioware planing to make any mor Mass Effect games? cause otherwise.. I will write one e-mail per week complaining that there was no reunion between the LI and Shepard if he survives. The people that are that devoted to get that ending deserves it! So if this is the final game with Shepard, then they might just go get all the actors again and make a "Reunion DLC".

It's been awhile since my last dialogue, so my writing is probably a bit rusty. Nevertheless, here it is. This time around, it's for Data. The story is set after ME1. Featuring femShep, 'some guy' and of course, one and only, Ashley.

femShep: Yeah, yeah. You spend too much time there. You need fresh air. Garrus is waiting for us at Flux. It will be good to see Garrus again, won't it?
Ashley: Yes. But there's something you're not telling me.
femShep: Nonsense. It's the lack of fresh air, makes you paranoid.
Ashley: Who told you such BS? Chakwas?
femShep: Yeah. Sure. Who else?
Ashley: I don't believe you.
femShep: You don't need to 'cause we're already here.
Ashley: Great.
femShep: Oh, c'mon. We'll meet an old friend and have a good time.

femShep: Hey, Garrus.
Ashley: Garrus.
Garrus: Shepard. Ashley. Glad you made it.
femShep: Sure we did. Although Ash was causing some trouble, as usual. Right Ash?
Ashley: If by trouble you mean kicking my superior's ass...
femShep: Keep dreaming. So, how's your Spectre training going?
Garrus: It's going well. Best sniper, top of the class... you know, the usual.
femShep: Good. I didn't expect anything less from you, Garrus. After all, you had the best example to learn from.
Joker: Such modesty. One would wonder where it comes from.
Ashley: She was speaking about me, of course.
femShep: Riiight. Take a seat and join the club, Joker.
Garrus: How's your mission going, Shepard? Still hunting the Geth?
femShep: Still wasting my time, yes. Too big cowards to accept the truth. Idiots.
Garrus: Well. What can you expect from politicians.
femShep: I don't know. Big mouths, small brains, stabs in the back?
Ashley: I'll drink to that.
femShep: But enough about politics. I'm more interested in today's menu.
Garrus: Menu?
Joker: She means...
Ashley: I knew it! I just knew it!
femShep: You haven't had a date in weeks, Ash.
Ashley: God. Do we really need to discuss it again? And in front of those two?
femShep: Joker and Garrus won't tell anyone. Besides, Joker has probably more experience than both of us combined.
Ashley: Yeah? Watching porn doesn't count.
Joker: Thanks for reminding me.
femShep: C'mon, there's plenty of cute guys around. Pick one.
Ashley: Why don't you follow your own advice?
femShep: Because they're only interested in the great Commander Shepard, savior of the Citadel, blah, blah. Not a single one of them cares for who I truly am.
Garrus: *coughs* Not true.
femShep: Well, what about that one near the bar? Good figure, dark brown hair, green yes... not bad. Not bad at all.
Ashley: Yeah... But I won't have a date just because you want me to.
Joker: And here we go again...
femShep: No? Maybe I should give you an order.
Ashley: I would have to disobey that order. Ma'am.
femShep: *sigh*
Garrus: Is this normal?
Joker: Pretty much. Shepard throwing guys at Ash. Ash throwing them away. Then Shepard gets drunk and barely makes it back to the ship.
femShep: I heard that. Hey, bartender! Another round.
