Joker: Son of a b*tch - he could have saved her by picking the right choice.
Garrus: I'm not sure if he had a real choice, Joker. Shepard did, what he had to do.
Joker: He killed EDI. He killed my love.
Garrus: How can you even be sure? The mission vids are badly damaged and no one except Shepard was there. I'm sure he took his time and thought about alternatives.
Joker: And what if not? What if he simply sacrificed EDI to take down the Reapers, not looking for another way? What if-
Ashley: At ease, Joker, calm down. Garrus - I need a few minutes with Jeff.
Garrus: Sure, Ashley. I think Tali is waiting - don't let the girls alone for too long, eh? See you then.
Ashley: See you, Garrus. Fine - Jeff, calm down. Think and-
Joker: I thought about it already, Ashley. Shepard had three options. THREE! And he picked the only one killing EDI!
Ashley: And how do you know? I saw the alternative options. "Control" - controlling the Reapers. No one says Shepard could have taken control so the Reapers retreat to dark space - maybe we were retreating, gathering our forces anew, looking for an another decisive battle - and the cycle continues.
Joker: I was talking about Synthesis - that option, and EDI were still alive. And more human than ever before ... I loved her, Ashley. I loved her ...
Ashley: Synthesis would have changed everyone and everything to hybrids of organic and synthetic life. Maybe you can accept it, but not everyone was asking for such change. And the Reapers ... well, they were still with us.
Joker: What's wrong with that?
Ashley: What's wrong - are you kidding me, Joker? Shepard tried to take them down for more than three years now. It was his path, his very decision and goal to destroy the Reapers. It was no decision he did within seconds, Joker. Shepard had to destroy the Reapers since it was his purpose.
Joker: And he sacrificed EDI. And the Geth. I can not look into this man's eyes anymore, Ashley. He destroyed ... killed ... EDI.
Ashley: Jeff ... do you remember Virmire? He had to leave Kaidan with the bomb, sacrificing him to save me. It was the most difficult decision in his life to leave a friend behind to save another friend.
Joker: It's not the same, Ashley.
Ashley: It is. It was the only way. Shepard had to sacrifice EDI and the Geth to destroy the Reapers and end a cycle of destruction that lastet a billion or more years already. And if you look in your heart, you know EDI would have done the same.
Joker: You don't know EDI. No one does.
Ashley: You do. And you know I am right. She wouldn't want you breaking down and blaming Shepard for what he did. She would be proud of what you did that day. Keep that in mind. Don't taint her sacrifice by destroying a friendship that lasted for more than three years. Don't do it.
Joker: I ... I wish I can ... but I can't.
Ashley: Take your time and you can, Jeff. And ... if you need someone to talk to, I have an open door policy.
Joker: Aye-aye, Ma'am.

I like the Joker dialogues.
But remember the scene after Thessia (I think) when Shepard and Joker can have an arguement over Jokers comments? Joker says he was carrying out a promise to Anderson to try and keep Shepards morale up and to take care of him. I don't think Joker would suddenly lose that but obviously he's gonna be pretty down for a while.
It's like in the end of the Fellowship of the Ring when Sam tells Frodo 'I made a promise, a promise Mr Frodo, don't you lose him...and I don't mean to'
Even when Frodo falsely accuses Sam and sends him home Sam still respects and loves Frodo despite his decision. I think Joker would be the same, in a way he is the Samwise of Mass Effect.
And this is related to Ashley because...Ashley would probably be his shoulder to cry on while Joker tries to come to terms with Shepards decision. Plus Ash is great

But right now he needs some time.
Plus it's great to put him and Ash in a dialogue. I wonder if he ever had something for her. In ME2 I thought they kinda set up a basis for Tali/Joker since he "always liked" her.

I'd imagine Joker has probably given Ash a look over every now and then but he'd probably be too scared of her to ever dream of taking it further lol
He did make that joke about her failing the 'Don't shoot your CO' training or whatever it was. My Shepard was very quick to step in for her then and tell Joker to be quiet!

I mean, Joker would be sad to lose EDI, but I think he'd fully understand. He wouldn't blame anyone, except maybe the reapers.

He'll get over it, and on some level, I think he understands that Shepard made the right decision. But it'll take time.

Yeah, they even have a EDI "pin-up" design for one.
Sorry, if I wanted pin-ups, I'd go buy a Playboy.

Also, no Ashley pin-ups for me. Do I really need to say why? Ash ain't that type of gal. I'd rather have a t-shirt that says, "Subtle as a boot to the face." Or some other awesome Ashley quote.

I've watched a video on youtube, where Ash gets killed in ME3 and the crew talk about her death. Joker says something like "I never really knew her" or something on those lines.
....
....
The only thing I've seen involving Ash and apparel are t-shirts that quote her, like "a pessimist is what a optimist calls a realist." Of course, Bioware is not selling them, but on third party sites.

@BE: I know. I thought that was strange to, and is mostly a fault of Bioware writers. I would watch the video again to see what he actually says to be 100% certain, but seeing Ash die isn't something I want to see again.
Edit: It was "I didn't really know her that well."
Well, that makes a bit more sense. Ashley joked around, but stayed very tight-lipped on certain things, if you know what I mean.
I watched a vid on youtube. Now, I get the impression that Joker wishes that he knew her better than he did. And he gets upset and angry at how it all went down.

Refusing to trust Shepard? Ha. They never change do the guys? lol
Guess what, if she took Shepard's word during the stand-off - yeah mate, Ashley trusts you, more than anybody.
Her wanting to willingly work with you during the Mars mission and beyond it also proves what she wants deep down.

If she didn't, then it is the players fault or he wanted to kill her in the first place.

Try this, kinda shows how much Ashley will regain her trust in Shepard
- Stay Loyal to Ash (for safeties sake avoid accepting Kelly's sexy dance)
- Choose paragon options in conversations with her (these tend to lean towards refuting Cerberus and remaining loyal to her)
- Visit her at least three times, be sure to get ther the poems and when talk to her when she gets her Spectre status.
And now comes the fun part
- After you've done all of the above, replay the confrontation with Udina (also save the salarian councillor, this is KEY)
- Now miss the paragon interrupt....Ashley straight up believes you and turns her gun on Udina.

If she lives - she trusts Shepard.
The whole coup stand-off is a trust test, which tests Ashley's trust in Shepard. That's what it was designed for.
I still can't believe people aren't getting this.
