Shepard: Ash - wha - what's the matter?
Ashley: You're been a bad boy, Skipper. You need to be punished ...
Shepard: Ash... uh, What is that thing? Posted Image
Ashley: ... My new cane.  Posted Image
Shepard: Posted Image ... I'm torn between being turned on, or horribly freaked out.

... kinkiness ensues...

I dunno. Kind of bored of writing Duet Effect atm. Torn between introducing Garrus in this chapter, or in the next chapter. If I introduce him in 3, that's another day's work for me. If I introduce him in 4, then we can have M!Shep's impression of him but the chapter would be incredible long.

Torn between the two...

Haha thats great. 90 votes compared to 3 for Ash. Worst character ever.

I'm going to go play my femshep some more. Yesterday I got to the "Load Game" screen and just lost all motivation to play. I don't know, I just can't muster up the desire to play it. No Ash...

LOL Aurora. That made me laugh.

This is still one of my favourite Shepley moments. Bridal style... oh yeah.

I just love how the whole time he's looking at Ash and only looks away for a splitsecond as they depart. Really drills in his fear, concern and guilt for her injuries.

C'mon Ash. You're not gonna die here. Not like this. Fight, Soldier. That's an order.

Its definitely more dramatic than Femshep throwing Kaidan over her shoulder and Fireman carrying him.

Yeah, the FemShep scene with Kaidan is pushing on what I can believe.

This scene during the memorial was special, too. It's touching that Ash wanted Shepard to be there. ME3 is filled with moments which give me the feels.

Yeah I disliked that about Femshep/Kaidan. I was like WTF? So impersonal compared to MaleShep/Ashley.

I'm sure fem!Shep does it 'cause Kaidan is simply a tad too heavy for her. While Ash ... well, even if you consider her as 1,80m and athletic, she shouldn't weigh much more than 140 lbs.
Something even me can still carry bridal-style - and I'm not that muscular. ;)

On the other hand - Shepard and Kaidan are towering 1,90m - and come with fully developed and shaped muscles. I'd say they're good over 200 lbs.

Kaidan's a bigger than average dude. Most men would struggle to lift him up. I'd probably drag him back.

The way Ashley closes her eyes and leans into Shepard's hand... THE FEELS. Okay, I'm going off now before things become more sappy. My fault, sorry.

Allers of course. I'd leave almost anyone else behind instead of Ash or Kaidan, just so I could get to know Kaidan better without having to leave Ash behind (which is never seriously open for consideration).

Not to mention that with Allers dead, that might open up a spot for Emily Wong (R.I.P- again dangit BW!) to be the embedded reporter on the SR-2.5 (as I call it in ME3). Heck, I'd even be okay with Khalisah Al-Jilani as the reporter instead of Diana.

yeah the soft craddle is because Ashley's lighter than male Shep. Also I think femshep Carries Ashley the same way maleshpe does and male Shep Carries Kaidan the same way femshep does. Kaidan's a big dude and you fireman carry big dudes unless you're just that strong. Femshep is also more than capable of carrying Kaidan, hell she's punched out a Yagh, I pity the fool that takes a Female shepard lightly in the strength department. In for some broken body parts >:D

it sickens me how female characters are treated by this fan base. I would never leave a civilian reporter ebhind on a military mission. Ashley and Kaidan are prepared to take thoe risks, Allers is not.

Ok, it is my first post on this topic so i will tell something about me.
I am pretty much Ash fan from the middle of ME1 I even found it strange that anyone could virmired Ash instead of Kaidan(i found him boring:d). I think that in ME3 quality of Ash got down but i can forgive this BioWare because of few nice moments+ really heartbreaking scene in EC( i wanted choose sinthesis,i just didnt want to kill EDI and geths, but after that i just couldnt done that, it was like deja vu for her....)

True.

Well, I must say, Diana Allers is simply ... one of those characters you don't really miss. She's optional (something that's a good feature of her), but if you pick her, she adds nothing to the plot you would miss if you didn't pick her. And that's bad.

And the entire Virmire-jazz - c'mon, AD, if there's a way to save both, Ash and Kaidan, you would do it too. And if there's a more expendable guy around you can pick to guard the bomb, then you'll do it too.
It's kinda funny I wouldn't leave Kirrahe back. That guy is awesome.

Does she not only add like 5 points to your EMS aswell and that sucks so there is no need for her. If after every interview she got you more points then ok she'd have more value but it just sucks. So I didn't even let her on the ship second time round. Sorry if this sounds like hate but when it comes to Allers I'll take the hit on that one.

And what's with these people who try and have a fling with Allers while also romancing Ashley? I've read a few people talking about it online and I think if you're crazy enough to cheat on Ashley with Allers then you deserve to get your ass dumped

Allers grant you 15 or 25 War Assets in the long run with a minimum of 5 (herself). Some of her interviews do add extra points, but it's not that much.
Well, actually I wished Allers would talk to the crew, leave her room and maybe do something heroic. Even if it's just a one-scene-wonder - it would be much better than the current state.

Allers is not very sexy. When I saw her first screenshots I though "okay, could be one of Ashley's sisters" - but the more I looked at her, the less Allers looked like a relative to Ash. She's not that beautiful, she's not ugly or something, but also not that attractive. Think her voice and overall character presentation did it for me - no romance material. Besides that - it feels more like a fling than a real romance.

Technically, that's because all she is is a fling. Not a real LI.

Blah. It has nothing to do with the fact that she's a woman. Allers is a practically useless character that was forced into the game, wasted time and resources which could have been used on other existing character who SORELY needed that. If she was replaced by a different IGN goon say… Colin Moriarty I would still dislike that character. Probably even MORE.

So yeah, if I could save two marines who damn good work over a military reporter trying to increase her shows views, I would. Allers is useless to me. Kaidan and Ashley aren't. Besides, Allers knew what the risks were joining Shepard's crew… everybody with a brain does. Maybe she's the one who should get her priorities straightened out.

People are selecting Allers I'd guess in part due to anger over the site her voice actor is affiliated with (wrote some insulting stuff about fans upset by the endings) and in part because we got Allers instead of Emily Wong.

Allers is okay as a character, but I'd much have preferred Wong, an already established character, over introducing someone new. You really shouldn't be introducing many new characters in the final part of a trilogy. It's made worse by the fact that, as Data pointed out, nothing is really done with her except an interview or two and a few lines of dialouge. No real character development, no relevance to the plot. If she was going to be in the game, Bioware could have at least had her generate a mission or two for those who opt to bring her along, maybe even something where she has to land with the squad.

But, nothing. She doesn't even interact with the crew that much, or really ever leave her room. How cool would it have been to walk into the crew deck and get to listen to her interviewing Garrus after rescuring the Primarch, Ashley after the coup attempt, or Tali after the quarian/geth missions? Nothing like that ever happens, though.

Of course, I have to wonder how willing Ash would be to talk to the press about the coup attempt, but it still would have been interesting to see Allers try.
