No Mac Bashing. THat's incredibly off topic, Also Mac's been there since ME1 and he co-wrote ME2 with drew before he left and finally took over for 3 which is damn near GOTY. I say that because Ashley seems to have got neglected. I'm doing another ashley alive playthrough and she has less dialgoue thatn Kaidan by far. It's almost as if they just stopped writing her and cut straight to the romance, also they cut out the conversation where She asks Shepard about the Afterlife.

It's less "Mac Bashing" than "Bad Writer Bashing". I don't know if we ever find out who was responsible for Ash in ME3, but he or she did a mediocre job. The romance is quite decent, the fluff outside the romance does not exist. Given the fact that Ashley is more than a stupid barbie you'd love to get in her pants, it's quite offending.

I wish Chris L'Etoile would return and write for BW for a VS centered DLC. I say "VS centered" since an Ash only DLC won't get accepted by the majority of the fandom plus she isn't alive in every playthrough. Also it's easier to get support for a VS DLC than for Ash.

I'm still looking for a chance to create such powerful movement, but thus far, it's nearly impossible. And yeah, one point on the list should deal with the right writer for Ash. Hell, since L'Etoile also wrote Thane's character, we could get Thane's fans in that support group too, if needed. Won't happen 'though. I don't have the influence to get something like that working. <_<

But yeah, I still demand a VS centered DLC with one or two missions, improved banter and fixed bugs. And if it helps, that DLC should also give Thane a chance to survive.

Yes, Ashley should have had more dialogue then what she got. She should have been able to talk to Shepard more. Visit him in his cabin that what once if romanced? And for those that didn't romance her they should have gotten more friendship stuff? I replayed the coup scene again and avoided the paragon interrupt that I always did. Mostly afraid she'd die on Shepard. That would have been depressing. I was happy to find out that Ashley did trust Shepard. I was just like wow... when I read it here and just had to reload it and try it. Thanks.
Oh, and let Ashley shoot Udina... "Son-of-a-****"  =]

I miss the Ashley-Miranda banter episode in that game.

*sigh* Is it only me or did BW waste a ton of opportunities in ME3? Not just Ash and Miri but even more stuff.

Ashley: Stop complaining, buddy. Things could be worse.
Data: Yeah. You could remain in the observatory deck for half of the game not talking to anyone but Shepard and even then only few words.
Ashley: Okay. It IS worse.

Shepard: Well Ash. Another blow to Cerberus and more scientists for the Crucible.
Ashley: I'd say this warrents a drink or two, Skipper.
Shepard: Tryin' to get me drunk so you can have your wicked way with me, LC?
Ashley: C'mon Skipper. I don't need you drunk for that.
Shepard: I honestly wouldn't have minded if you said 'yes'.
Ashley: Of course not - but no. I'm makin' you work for it.
Shepard: I'm almost painfully aware of that.
Ashley: Awh, poor little Skipper. Now c'mon, it's a special occasion. Lets have a drink.
Shepard: 'Special Occasion'? Is it Armistice day?
Ashley: I know you said that I shouldn't let the past get to me, and I've kept that close to heart. But old habits die hard, I guess.
Shepard: I guess. So it means we have two reasons to celebrate.
Ashley: Just don't get hammered, Skipper. I don't feel like carrying a half-conscious cyborg up to his bed.
Shepard: And here I was hoping you could tuck me in.
Ashley: Down boy. But if you're lucky... you won't be up there alone tonight.
Shepard: Whatever happened to 'making me work for it'?
Ashley: A girl has her needs too.
Shepard: Wow. Gee - thanks. Nice to know I'm useful for something.

Completely agree. There weren't even subtle nods to their relationship, let alone overt ones. At the bare minimum, ME3 should have mimicked ME1 on sign offs. Unromanced, when you leave Ashley she'd just say "Yes, sir" but romanced you got a nice "Looking forward to it, Skipper." Bluhhh... This is reminding me why I had to write fanfic in the first place.

I don't know why this would be outside the realm of possibility. I mean, after all, that's what every single ME2 squadmate mission in ME3 was. They still had the potential for missions if they survived the Omega 4 relay and positively affect the outcome of the war. The semantics of a Virmire survivor would be tough to iron out though... Something that would work for both Ashley and Kaidan up front that could deviate down the road to showcase their personalities. Maybe to give them a positive impression of synthetics? Since all they ever experience is heretic geth and Eva Core bashing their faces in.

Who knows. I don't think there's much space for a VS-centered mission. Sure, I can create one in my mind, can tell you what features I'd like to see, but that all doesn't change the fact BW won't do a DLC for the VS.

And tbh: there is a bunch of p*ssed off ME2 fans out there: with exception of Mordin or Legion, nearly none of the ME2 characters got a proper treatment. They deserve a DLC or multiple DLCs too, just to give 'em at least one LotSB-style mission where they're part of your squad. Won't happen. I'm just saying.

My heart, of course, beats most for a VS centered DLC. It's just that: we can't get enough support for such DLC to convince EA/BW to create one that get's bought.

Too bad Ash isn't into fem!Shep in ME3. I really miss that opportunity ...
But don't get me started - it's not there and won't get introduced.

I like how we all complain about Bioware being lazy about putting Ash into Femshep's body or vice-versa when they did the same thing in ME1 too. lol

But it wasn't as noticeable BP93, her body is much different and my girlfriend even commented on the difference of her body in the romance scene. She said Ashley got detoxed in the boobs, I mentioned how they used the same body and she glared at me so I shut up. Her glare scares me.

You know what I should do, go do the revenge tv show way. Destroy the devs life's and force them to add more ashley content, just have a few complications but not impossible. Living in wrong country main factor in this situation.

I consider myself living not only in the wrong country but also in the wrong time, SJNKD ;)

Ash and fem!Shep do have the same body. Same for Traynor, by the way. I'm sure it's simply not economical to create three different bodies for three different nude (semi-nude) women in a game. And, by the way: m!Shepard, Kaidan and Cortez share the same body model as well. The only human character with a DIFFERENT model is Vega. And he's not romanceable.

By the way: Ash surely has B/C cups in ME3. I still don't get it - what was wrong with her old "stuff"? That entire "sex'er up" jazz doesn't really help.

Ashley: Are you talking about that topic again?
Data: Yup.
Ashley: Sheesh. I didn't had a boobjob, if you think that. They simply grew a little bit the past two years.
Data: I try to believe.
Shepard: I checked: no scars or something. And they feel natural.
Ashley: *scowls*
Data: In a way I'm glad I don't have to check 'em out.
Shepard: Give it a try.
Ashley: *scowls even more*

It doesn't bother me one bit about Ashley's body. My girlfriend has a little girl growing inside her and I'm enjoying every minute of it. Although, the naming idea could be better.

Shepard: Honk honk.
Ash: Shepard, let go of those!
Shepard: Sorry, can't help myself.
Ash: I knew it was a bad idea to stay up here. If it wasn't 2 AM and if I weren't exhausted, I'd go back down to the crew deck.
Shepard: You're no fun.
Ash: Mm hm. And you're a pervert.
Shepard: I'm not the one who changed in such a... noticable way.
Ash: That's from the Alliance gene mods, and you know it!
Shepard: God bless the Alliance militar... OW!
Ash: *smiles*

I for one, am glad Bioware didn't decide to pull a 'Kaidan' with Ashley at the end of the trilogy. The character was established as straight from the get-go and I'm happy they stayed consistent - and it was for a reason. Considering everything I find it OOC, if she was. It's like Traynor or Cortez being bisexual. Besides, that's how Chris wrote her obviously. Let it be. I don't wish for Ashley to be something she's not and hasn't been. Some people are just straight, and that's that. It makes the ME characters realistic and believable compared to others. And I love that the characters have preferences themselves, like Ash, Traynor, Jack and Cortez. I'm not against S/S romances. But if a character has been written and established as straight - you should stay true to that.

As for bashing Mac? It was a poor effort. The original ending he wrote is a complete disgrace. For someone who's been working on the franchise since ME1? How he found it to be acceptable in the first place is beyond me. It's rubbish.

Thank god Weekes is there, that's all I'll say. At least the EC healed some of the damage for me. But the original ending shouldn't have existed at all. I'm sure I'm not the only one who's wondering what the ME3 ending would be like if Drew and Chris were still there.

Yep. It will include a tiny bit of fluff.  It's a new rumoured DLC for ME3 called "Leviathan of dis" look it up on google. Seems legit. And… interesting. My only hope is that Liara isn't a required squad mate again. She's had enough spotlight.
As for Ashley's enlargements? Compared her hospital scene with her Horizon model… Posted Image

Yeah, even more spotlight on Liara isn't needed.
It's okay she was on Thessia (totally fine to me) and on Mars as well (her introduction mission). Javik's DLC ... yeah, guess I have to accept it. But please, no more Liara centered stuff, Bioware. She really had a good portion of screentime in ME3, she had her own DLC in ME2 and inofficially DLC in ME3 (From the Ashes) - I think that's enough.

I'd like to see a Vega centered DLC for instance. Or, as I stated earlier, a VS centered DLC. Heck with it, I would even write the story if needed ...

Hmmm, sounds interesting Example especially if fluff is involved!
