No Mac Bashing. THat's incredibly off topic, Also Mac's been there since ME1 and he co-wrote ME2 with drew before he left and finally took over for 3 which is damn near GOTY. I say that because Ashley seems to have got neglected. I'm doing another ashley alive playthrough and she has less dialgoue thatn Kaidan by far. It's almost as if they just stopped writing her and cut straight to the romance, also they cut out the conversation where She asks Shepard about the Afterlife.
It's less "Mac Bashing" than "Bad Writer Bashing". I don't know if we ever find out who was responsible for Ash in ME3, but he or she did a mediocre job. The romance is quite decent, the fluff outside the romance does not exist. Given the fact that Ashley is more than a stupid barbie you'd love to get in her pants, it's quite offending.
I wish Chris L'Etoile would return and write for BW for a VS centered DLC. I say "VS centered" since an Ash only DLC won't get accepted by the majority of the fandom plus she isn't alive in every playthrough. Also it's easier to get support for a VS DLC than for Ash.
I'm still looking for a chance to create such powerful movement, but thus far, it's nearly impossible. And yeah, one point on the list should deal with the right writer for Ash. Hell, since L'Etoile also wrote Thane's character, we could get Thane's fans in that support group too, if needed. Won't happen 'though. I don't have the influence to get something like that working. <_<
But yeah, I still demand a VS centered DLC with one or two missions, improved banter and fixed bugs. And if it helps, that DLC should also give Thane a chance to survive.
