Top Ash pic:

Posted Image

I'm sure there could be a good dialogue for this pic but I can't think of anything

Hmmm, sounds interesting Example especially if fluff is involved!

Don't get your hopes up. Ash's fluff will suck compared to the others. From what I could tell, it looks like Kaidan, Garrus and Liara will get the best content... yet again.

And I wouldn't consider Ashley's lines fluff despite them being romance specific... I think.

VS centered DLC and Vega centered DLC would be good.

To be honest, though, what I'd really like is a Director's Cut that actually finishes the frigging game.

At a minimum, it would:
~Create actual N7 missions - similar to the ones in ME2, not the ones in ME3 - for the scan and grab quests. In a few cases, you'd still pick things up after scanning them, but in the vast majority, detecting something would lead to a mission.
~Restore dialouge that was cut from the Ash romance, and maybe some of the other romances as well.

It would be nice if it also:
~Expanded the story with Miranda's father to more than one mission.
~Expanded the Thessia mission
~Gave us a chance to actually land on Palevan - perhaps sometime between the quarian/geth missions and Thessia, to help with the evacuation.
~Provided ways to resolve arcs with minor characters such as Parasini, Thenopsis, etc, on screen instead of through e-mails or not at all
~Added new hub worlds (this is extremely unlikely, though this, combined with scanning leading to actual N7 missions, might provide ways to resolve the stories of minor characters)

Never happen, because it would be way expensive to do, especially if they tried to do all or most of those ideas. It just irritates me that ME3 doesn't feel like a complete game.

If we really want to get some VS DLC then what if we started a campaign where we all write to Kimberly Brooks and Raphel Sbarge with our suggestions and they could recommend them to Bioware. Didn't Kimberly say that they listen to her when she has suggestions for her character?

Yea Example I'm not expecting too much, if it even comes to be. The day Ashley gets the same treatment as BW's favourite characters is the day I stop staring at my Shepard poster!

I wish I could DWH but it's a darn good poster.

Exorion I have heard of girls using those wonder bras so maybe Ash just decided to use one instead of the military issue bra in ME1?

But don't get me started - it's not there and won't get introduced.

Danny, I'm dying to hear what you know about a wonder bra lol

Forget a wonder bra. Wouldn't it make more sense for Ash to wear a bullet-proof one with that jacket?

I really miss Ashley's tan skin ME1&2, did Bioware do some study where they found light skinned women are more attractive or something?

Part of me also misses seeing her hair tied up in a bun but i like her hair in ME3 too. The skin tone is really what i miss most of all.

I know plenty about wonder bras Example...I read about them on the back of a match box

So Example you mean a Xena type bra? Well if she's only wearing a jacket into battle she could probably do with one.

The back of a  matchbox? Yeah right. You were watching those late night teleshopping on Sky lol.

Nah, I don't mean anything like that. I'm sure in ME's day and age they have something more modern lmao. Don't know what good it would do under that jacket. The weapons have more kick in the future. Posted Image

She has. 30mm Tritanium-Steel to protect her assets with her armor. Each asset is worth 50 points (morale raise).

Now that I think about it, it's a weak trade off to give Ash to Hackett. Only 25 pts ...

I think Allers was referencing the loss of the 212 and perhaps Kaidan on Virmire. Maybe Shepard's death, maybe even her father's death. It's not clear. There has been a lot death, a lot of loss in Ash's life recently. You could even count Thomas, her brother-in-law, as his death had a big impact on her and her sister Sara, their relationship.

Death closes all... Ash has almost died quite a few times in the series, also. Had a few close calls.

No doubt she's been rather unlucky. I mean, she has a few highlight reel worthy accomplishments and memories, but there's been a lot of tough sledding in the life and times of Ashley Williams. Eden Prime, Virmire, Horizon, Mars, the Coup Attempt. That's just what we know about. I remember in ME1 she says bad things happen to her but she just doesn't tell anyone about it and if you stayed with her long enough she might tell you about some of them. Short end of the stick, indeed.

That's sort of true. I hope she gets better post war.

However, you also could see it the other way around: not death follows Ashley, but Ashley is a survivor. Get what I mean?

[Snip]

It's not that Death is following Ashley. She just survived against all odds. That alone proves she's Spectre material, that alone shows her fighting spirit. Yeah, Ashley saw a lot of good friends dying. But she never gave up and surrendered to grief.

I like that interpretation more than "death seems to follow her".

But death does follow her. She has to deal with death at every turn it seems, the death of someone she knows, someone close or her own repeated almost-deaths. She still has to deal with it, the emotional impact of loss on this level repeatedly, so I can see what Allers means when she says death follows Ash around. It does. It's not like she can forget about all the people in her life who have died, she carries that with her. She remembers the 212 and Kaidan, she talks about her father, she deals with the death of Shepard, the Normandy crew and Thomas. She carries so much around the whole trilogy and when Allers said it, I don't think she meant it to be mean or judgemental, she didn't sound that way either. She sounded sympathetic and maybe even amazed at how much Ash has seen.

You take the time to write what I can't be bothered.  Posted Image And yeah, I agree with it. Although, I've never heard Allers mentioning Ashley after the coup. Perhaps I'll bring her along next time to get that convo. Sounds interesting.

Honestly though, do you guys think Ash could cope with Shepard's death again? If they were in love? Not unromanced. She's a remarkably strong woman, but I don't think she could cope going through that once more. I that's what would break the camel's back, so to speak.

I doubt she'd be the only one feeling that way after the war though.
