I bet that girl is the wife of a Swedish football player, right?
She has something. And yeah, Swedish girls do look incredible pretty. :)

Also our East-European fans here claim to have Ash-lookalikes in Czech, Poland, Russian, Ukraine, etc. I just can't check out all those countries to find the perfect Ashley ...

To anwer your first question.. I have no ide, wouldn't suprise me if she was though.

second of all, sure we got pretty girls here.. but it's hard to find a girl here with a personality and attitude like the one Ash has that we all love so much. We have a word here in sweden, it's called "lagom", which basicly means: not to much but not to litle. And thats very inprinted in the swedish peoples mind.. which is nothing like Ashley. So finding a girl with the personality like Ashley's here is a difficult task.

And I say to all those East-European fans.. "Picture or it isn't true!" :police:

I don't know about you guys, but prefer my Ash without heavy make-up.

Her make-up can't be that heavy, since you can see her freckles plainly:

Looks like she's wearing eye-liner, mascara, eye-shadow, blush, lip stick and lip gloss. She could be wearing a powder foundation, most are rather light, why you can see her freckles, blemishes, beauty markes, whatever those are. But, generally, she is wearing a lot of make-up. She just didn't use primer or a liquid foundation, but she had to put that face on.

Well, maybe you're an expert in that field (at least you can name all that stuff we guys simply call make-up), but I saw worse. Really. Like something one would call a "concrete face mask" - it's so thick, the original face is covered by a layer or 2 inches of make-up and stuff.

Ashley uses it in a more decent way. Think the only real downside is the gloss. I'm not sure if she really uses lip stick, her lips are already quite quite pink - does she really need a pink lip stick?

Really? All that? But basically it's just her eyes and lips, right? Posted Image

Doesn't look like she's wearing much in this pic:

Ashley's face model is from Czech Republic.

However, Ashley's attitude feels more like she's from USA, most likely Westcoast.

Judging from the last name, I'd say she's got British roots. Whether that be, English or Welsh ect.

You can't pin-point a country where you think she got her attitude from. She moved constantly, so she's just picked it up, I guess. Also, think she got a lot from her Dad, "I'll pack your damn bags myself." Posted Image

Well, at least I can say she has no German attitude.

Means: complaining, complaining, complaining, neighbor has bigger car, greener grass ... hating everyone's guts.
Sorry, the image of my own people is negative. Which pretty much means I'm right.

By the way, one of my co-workers, an old lad, is from USA. His last name: "Williams". Quite common there too.

Yes, she certainly is wearing all that. See how her eyes "pop". That can only be accomplished with make-up. She's not just wearing lip gloss because you can see the nude-pink color beneath the gloss so well in most shots. She had to put on lip stick first and then the gloss. I'd say she probably is wearing a powder foundation, just to generally even out her skin tone, and her cheeks look rosey, so she's wearing blush, and most women wouldn't wear blush without wearing a foundation. She might even be wearing bronzer, now that I look at that above picture. It looks like bronzer beneath her cheekbones. She has a strong jaw and cheekbones and if she wanted to make her face look slimmer or "contour" her face she'd use a bronzer as well.

She's not "all-naturale" in ME3. Even in ME1 I think she was wearing eye liner. Don't know how she got away with that though. Her male superior just couldn't tell, I guess.

Those who live in America, Australia or New Zealand (love that place)... where did it all start, hmm? British roots, I say!

@Youth; Ashley had roughly the same amount of make up on in ME1. She had gloss and eyeliner ect on as well. It's just wasn't as... out there. Maybe because Shepard was always talking to her at a distance. Posted Image

Well, of my interpretation, Brits can be pretty crazy and have a big attitude when they need to.. just look at WW1 and 2. And mostly, if you get in a fight with a Brit, he/she won't back off easely (if you don't buy them a beer or something). So maybe Ash got the attitude from British relatives, but her more relaxed approch from American relatives?

I'm quite sure that was the main reason why Ashley's writer called her "Ashley Williams". Not only it's a common name, it also makes Ashley most authentic since she feels like the "girl next door".

Williams - that's like "Müller" in Germany. Half of the guys are either named "Müller", "Meyer" or "Schmidt" - including all variants.

In Sweden, our equivalent is "Svensson". Sven's son--> Sven ---> Svensk, which translates to "Swedish" (a swedish person). How inventive is that?.. or not. :P

To my eyes, it looks like she's wearing way more make-up in ME3 than in ME1. She wore a soft lipstick and eyeliner in ME1, but that's it. She amped it up in ME3.

EDIT: It's not unusal, or "a lot" of make-up. That's normal, what plenty of women wear everyday. It's only a lot when it's  flamboyant or when someone obviously looks "made-up". Ash is wearing a lot of product, but it looks fine, so mission accomplished.

Not sure how a tomboy got used to all that though.

Ashley definitely has a new lipstick on or something, you could see the glow from her lips from about 5 miles away.
