@BadExample: Feron is another case where ME3 just fails.

Seriously - Feron should have been in the game, and as much as I hate to suggest more Liara content, the game should have developed their relationship more if Liara is unromanced.

I was expecting a mission or two involving Feron, but was let down. Just like I was expecting a mission or two involving Giana Parasini, Kal Reegor, Corporal Toombs, etc...

EDIT: Anyone else thing that the DLC would be a good chance to close the stories for some of these minor characters that got ignored?

Here's a thought - have Noveria involved in research on the Leviathan, and make Giana Parasini a major part of the Levithan DLC. Corporal Toombs story could be closed with the Omega DLC, since to me it would seem natural for his group of mercs to be interested in taking down Cerberus' hold on Omega.

Weren't Giana and Shiala originally supposed to return in ME3 as LI's? I remember hearing about that and planned to make a 3rd MShep for Giana. If she comes back (not overly likely since the only people who would have access to her would be those of us who played ME), I hope they do make her an LI (again, not likely since they didn't do it before).

I think this will always be my favourite gif:

Took from the Wiki: "she tries to comfort Shepard about all the people they've lost. She expresses how she felt lost herself and that it broke her heart when Shepard was dead."

Plus, "You know, I was lost without you." will probably remain my favourite quote from Ash in ME3.

Well, Ashley's romance was perfect. It just lacked the substance of a friendship too.

I really wish they would have done a better job. That's it. Maybe they didn't so Liara looks better than Ash? O.o

Maybe, but could be more dialogue with her... maybe some interactions? (Like ME2 or more dates)

- that's like "Müller" in Germany. Half of the guys are either named
"Müller", "Meyer" or "Schmidt" - including all variants.

In
Sweden, our equivalent is "Svensson". Sven's son--> Sven --->
Svensk, which translates to "Swedish" (a swedish person). How inventive
is that?.. or not. [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/tongue.png[/smilie]

And here in Denmark Ashley´s last name would probably be Jensen or Hansen. Just something that ends with -sen.

Seriously!
In the next ME game, I demand a Danish speaking Krogan who sits in the
cargo hold drunk off his ass with smuggled beer.   [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/tongue.png[/smilie]

Yeah that would be awesome! He could have a Finish krogan as partner in crime and together they smuggle bear and koskenkorva all over the gallaxy

And if I could choose.. I would like to se a swedish sniper girl in the next ME game.. like a blond equelevant to Ash B)

I liked in one and two how I wasn't required to bring certain
squadmates for any mission, except Miranda and Jacob. Wanted to cap
those two the minute I met them.

Miranda grew enough to make her a little less unbareable...

Jacob? God, if I wasn't so dead set on the 'no man left behind' achievements, I'd of killed his ass.

Why do I like what you wrote there?... oh yeah, cause it sounds like something Ash would say ;)

You sent us videos as well. I learnt a lot today.
All in good fun. Let's do it again sometime, yeah? Posted Image

But I've got another question. How the heck does Ash get her hair to stay like that... stinkin' hair spray? And roughly how long would Shepard be waiting in the car for her to do it?

Actually, plenty of hair spray smells good and she had to use some to get her hair to stay so perfectly in place. It doesn't move. Probably just graphic limitations, but she if this was IRL, she had some damn good hold.

Her hair looks so thick and smooth and straight in most pics, and it has a sheen, so, if we go by today's beauty conventions (not sure what beauty tools are available in the ME universe), she probably flat irons it every morning, and if she's doing that every morning she has to use some kind of product on her hair before she flat irons it to protect it from damage due to excessive heat. And because she's putting so much product in her hair everyday and because she's so active, she probably washes her hair daily, y'know if she can.

Look at her hair in this shot from the side, it looks perfect:

Posted Image

And though she looks good, this isn't at all practical or feasible for a female Marine.

And how long is Shepard going to be waiting in the car on Ash? Depends on how fast she is about putting on her make-up and styling her hair, but generally, your Shepard had better not be in a hurry to go anywhere when Ash says she's about to get ready.

And I noticed how you guys said, it doesn't look like she's wearing make-up, but that's the trick! You're not supposed to look "made-up". And this may sound like a paradox, but most women want to look natural while wearing make-up. They don't wear make-up to look like Lady Gaga or Nicki Minaj, they just basically want to enhace their looks. Not cover up or look like a clown.

Any other secrets you guys want in on?

I know, Danny. I feel like I could go to a women's book club and join in now. I still think push-up bra's are evil though. However, they're a good way to trick men. Women are professionals at that.

Posted Image

@Youth; Nah, I think we're good now. Better to stop, before we wander into inappropriate territory here Posted Image. I still think Ash's make-up looks reasonable compared to some of today's women, but as you said, not very practical for a marine. Then again, Ash is an officer now. I suppose Shepard let's it slide, so long as she's geared up to fight when he needs her. I imagine if you send her with Hackett, she'll bring out the bun because of time issues. Seems like it would take quite a while for her to doll herself up in the morning.

Ashley: Hey Skip - why the thoughtful look?
Shepard: I'm playing with that thought again.
Ashley: That one.
Shepard: Resign and retreat to a nice planet, that's all.
Ashley: Sounds good enough - is there any place for me?
Shepard: You just got promoted to Staff Commander and you're the Normandy's CO. And someone needs to keep the Council in line, otherwise, they might screw it up.
Ashley: That "someone" doesn't have to be the humans second Spectre, Shepard. And as far as I know that someone still plans to have a 12-months vacation with a living legend.
Shepard: Ash ... I really like that idea, I ... I just need time to sort stuff out. That's it.
Ashley: I could help you-
Shepard: You can't help me, not this time.

She has so high mainenance, she's missing a lot of good talks with the crew and Shepard. Instead she's hanging out on the observatory deck, thinking about new ways to improve her make-up.

It's hard to be not a cynic.

NOOOOOOO! Never.
Can't a woman look good for her man? Posted Image

You can't be high maintenace when you've been in the Alliance for over ten years of your life. Ash is just abusing her down-time. Yeah, that's it. Posted Image

I'd like to think that women in 2186 know a secret trick - slap some omni-gel on your hair, and it'll stay perfectly in place.

She had you all fooled with that hard military chick routine in ME1! Ash puts a lot of effort into how she looks.

Omni-gel? Come near her hair with that stuff and she'd probably fling it in Shepard's face and ban him from the bathroom. You don't mess with a woman's hair. "Homey don't play that."

Well ... in way I fell in love with the tomboy soldier girl and not the pretty one.

And so did my Shepard.

*sigh* tomboy!Ash is the one I would date at first sight over girly!Ash. ^^

I always figured that she worked so hard on her career she sacraficed time into her looks and just covered the essentials, now that she's a Commander and a spectre she can take time to enjoy the little things in life now that she doesn't have to obsess about working over the Williams name, since it is finally respectable again.

You know, back when it was revealed that 'Homeworlds' will stop with Liara I tweeted Mr. Weekes and asked him if there is a possibility of additional Ash/Kaiden content, wether outside the game or inside the game. He basically said something like 'yes it is possible if fans show there is demand for it.' (Thats me paraphrasing).

There you go, you want more VS content, show it. Talk to writers via twitter (most of them are very friendly and polite), talk to Jessica Merizan, post your suggestions on BSn topics etc etc...

On topic of Ashley's hair - women in the military actually use alot of hair product because they are not allowed to have their hair all over the place.
