True enough. But since it's just them in a scabby part of the Citadel surrounded by strangers, I think Ashley is just grateful that he came for her when she needed it. It's a very meaningful gesture inviting Shepard to the memorial, I think. Also, very meaingful when she said that her father would have liked Shepard. It's like welcoming him into the family sort of.

Oh true enough Example, Shepard isn't eyeing up her sister or anything I just mean he'd probably be glad looking at her that Ashley must get her looks from the other side of the family...I mean Ash doesn't really compare with her sister in the pic!!! Maybe that's my shallowness kicking in again lol

Unfortunately, with the trilogy over, I think we're going to have less and less to talk about where Ash is concerned.

Maybe the DLC will give us material, but eventually things will grind to a halt.

Ash: Well, for starters... There are dishes in the kitchen that need washed. And the gutters need cleaned. And the grass needs cut...

Ash: What? You didn't think semi-retirement would be all fun, did you?
Shepard: *getting out of bed* I'd better get more than another damn medal for completing these "missions" of yours.

I never liked the N7 hoodie either, it just didn't fit. I really liked the N7 leather jacket, not very official but it doesn't have "slacker" written all over it.

Heh. Actually, the N7 hoodie is more like something he'd wear around the house with Ash after ME3. Maybe when he does the dishes, cleans the gutters, and cuts the grass after my dialouge.

I really wished they had expanded the dialogue during the memorial scene so you could meet Ash's sister, or at least later on while not at the memorial wall. Going to see if I can write some dialogue, have been wanting to but not sure if I can get a feel for it.

Honestly, using a generic character model for Ash's sister and not giving her any lines is another thing that makes ME3 feel rushed.

It's a lot of little things like that. By themselves they don't amount to much, and on my first playthrough I didn't pay that much attention because I was so happy to finally be playing ME3. But together they create the feel of a game that's not quite all there, and after you finish and think back on things, it becomes clear just how many missed opportunities there were.

I always make Shepard wear one of the Alliance outfits, usually the one he first wears on Earth, just so that he's dressed differently from everyone else in the game. My mate calls the N7 leather jacket, the: "pub peado jacket" lol. The N7 hoodie is cool, and I have one of my own in the wardrobe, but it doesn't seem appropriate for a Captain of a ship to wearing it.

I always pictured Ashley finding the hoodie somewhere like hung over the back of a chair or something, then she tries it on, quickly decides she likes it, and forces Shepard to share it with her every now and again. It's more than likely too big for her, but you know, still decent for lying on the sofa on lazy Sundays. And Shep doesn't mind it either.

With the geth destroyed, every major power in the galaxy is launching missions beyond the veil, in the hope of salvaging advanced geth technology. Analysts have described the unclaimed technical resources as one of the largest economic opportunities in years…

Shepard: *Turns off newscast.*

Ash: *comes into the living room* You know, I think I’m going to get in touch with my sisters to… Hey, you all right, Skipper?

Shepard: Just tired. I guess.

Ash: Shepard, don’t shut me out. Tell me what’s wrong.

Shepard: It’s just… I was listening to an Alliance news burst. Teams from all over the galaxy are descending on geth space like vultures. Taking anything of value that they can find. Picking them clean…

Ash: I see.

Shepard: The geth were sentient, Ash. As sentient as either of us. I helped them get there. Legion sacrificed himself for it. Then I took it all away from them. And the galaxy doesn’t seem to remember or care that they were our allies.

Ash: The geth were a threat to the rest of the galaxy long before they were our allies. You can’t expect everyone to wrap their heads around such a major change, so quickly. I can’t even wrap my head around it, and I was there when Legion sacrificed himself.

Shepard: They never even got a chance, and now the galaxy is going to fight over their remains. I can’t… Every day, I question whether I made the right decision.

Ash: Shepard, stop. We’ve been over this before. You couldn’t trust control. “Merging” your mind with the Reapers, or whatever that involved? The Reapers controlled minds. They would have ended up controlling you, just like they did with the Illusive Man. And synthesis… Synthesis is just horrifying. I love you, Skipper, but if what the catalyst says about synthesis is true, I don’t think I’d ever have forgiven you. No one has any right to force that on the entire galaxy.

Shepard: And I have the right to kill every AI in the galaxy? Including a member of our own squad? To commit genocide against the geth? Ash, am I a war criminal? I’ve always hated collateral damage. I even told Anderson once that it doesn’t end wars, it causes them. Now look at what I’ve done…

Ash: Shepard, stop. The war with the Reapers was never going to be clean. It was never going to end without bloodshed. And you never asked to make the decisions the catalyst presented you with. You had a hard decision to make, and you did your job – you stayed true to your goal with the Reapers from day one. You ended them.  Then you came home. That’s good enough for me. And it should be good enough for you.

Shepard: Yeah… I don’t know. I don't know if that's good enough...

Ash: Well, I do know. And maybe, right now, you need to let that be good enough for both of us.

I do give her a revenant with the extended barrel and the scope.  She's pretty awesome with that.

AP mod is a must, for versatility, since they all misses a lot. Barrel is barely relevant - IEA will do most of the damage. Scope is nearly useless - all team-mates got autobot or whatever, since they don't give a **** about high spread of Revenant or Hurricane.

Okay, that was a horrible thing to say, but I expected Sarah to look more like the younger version of Ash, same goes for Lynn.

Since I have a lot of sisters I can't say there is huge resemblance between them.

Yeah, I know it's a little harsh, but showing up in a hoodie does strike me as a bit disrespectful. The funny thing about the hoodie, actually, is that it just seems so out of place at so many times.

In theory (depends on regulations, actually), if you out of duty, you can wear what you want (sometimes - from permitted list).
And giving that Shepard actually changes dress into dress barf to meet diplomats near Sur-Kesh, that means that this is only official part of his excursion.

And I liked Cerberus uniform, actually. Made some sense, that "remake" of those uniforms in ME3 makes about zero sense to me - what's the point of all those new elements?

Hey everyone! I just want to say that I have been a lurker of this Ashley discussion forum for awhile and I have finally decided to make an account. I must say that Ashley Williams is my favorite romance for my sheploo. In all my play throughs, I don't think that my Shepard has come close to romancing anyone (Kaidan never makes it past Virmire).

I love the dialogue and pics you guys post. Great stuff!!
