If Ashley dies in ME1 that's how she goes out. I would like to see something happen with James when he's an N7. I can't picture him having a wife and a family, then dying in his bed. He wasn't built for that.

I would like to see Ash with James because of how much I like them both so would like to know they could be happy but yea James doesn't seem the settling down, long term romance type.

Ya know, I just realised, Shepley kids are gonna be part of two bloodlines - That of The Galaxy's greatest hero, and the Alliance's greatest 'traitor'. I know the 'traitor' part has been redeemed, but imagine the physcologically stress on the child/children. I bet it'd be insanely hard to measure up to their parents.

Bah! It's not real until I see a video of it! And there are NONE. But If it's true, then I want to see it myself. If it's a kiss on the cheek well then, it might just be like a thank you for the booze and support last night... oh and for the breakfast.

But if it's a full on smacker!   Yeah, things got real. Either way, James isn't sticking around after the war. He's got his tattoo - he's going to be an N7. So I can't see Ash and James working out.

@ Rudy: you're the military expert, I'm the SciFi expert - let's say it's a tie. If I ever have to explain the armor / weight story in my fanfic, I'll go with the "power suit" idea. I also think we really should use it in the Phoenix Project if we ever run into that issue and need to explain it.

It's not that it's going to break anything or makes Shepard look like a wimp if we add that little idea to the lore. After all, we already -have- to tweak and fix the lore to make Project Phoenix working, so ... yeah, you get it.

On the other hand, maybe we never have to explain it at all, in that case it's not needed in the plot.

Ok I am going to have to jump in on the whole issue of the stupid amount of weight people are apparently able to carry, although the gean mods are a possibility I still don't think it would cover this because weight is;
the mass of an object x gravity  and as changes, so lets take the Widows 39kg weight as being its weight in earth level gravity (1G), this means that on the prasidium that has gravity of 0.3G it would only be 11.7kg or on the wards that have gravity of 1.2G (if I remember correctly) it would be 46.8kg.

I think its much safer to just assume the mass effect field generator in weapons reduces the mass of the whole thing rather than just the slug it fires.

The kiss isn't true.
Ashley doesn't leave her room for breakfast. Ashley doesn't leave her room ever. That's false. 

Also, Ashley can be romanced fresh in ME3. She can't be in a relationship or starting soemthing with James... because the date scene is straight after.

I need proof, to believe it. I know better than to believe anything I read off the internet.

About the kids living up to the parents. I think it could go either way depending on how the children feel about the pressure. They could rebel and get very angry when people bring up their parents all the time and that could cause issues.

But not every RL couple who are successful or important end up having dead beat kids. The kids could want to make a name for themselves and make their own great military, political or educational careers and become important and respected people in their own right.

There would most likely be some people out there who would give the Shepley kids grief about the Williams bloodline but in my head cannon the kids just fight back cause they deeply love and respect their parents

I know if it's a little girl who looks the double of Ashley,  my Shepard will be helpless when it comes to her.

I always thought the first child would have mummy's good looks and daddy's fierce blue eyes and inherit their god-defying determination. Yeah, she'd always be daddy's little girl... then she grows up, becomes a respected authority in whatever she does. Then she becomes 'Daddy's little badass'.

What if Shepard got his own girly horde? I can't see them having four kids, though. Two more like.

Flip if Shepard was surrounded by girls all sharing their mothers attitudes...phew glad I'm not in that house, I think Shepard would see the Reapers as little kittens in comparison. Not saying Shepard wouldn't love them all, of course he would, but he'd never get his way! I know a few guys in that sort of situation and I feel very sorry for them.
