In my head cannon they'd get married about a year after the war as well. First son, David, comes along 2-3 years down the line as Ashley really wants a child. Daughter, Hannah maybe, comes along about 2 years after that.

Shepard leaves military career to go into politics and help rebuild the galaxy, Ash becomes an alliance officer trainer

Top Ash:

I like the way she says "ride" (hey it's me, you should be used to it by now) lmao.

Oh hell no. My Shepard hates politics with a passion. I believe his exact words were: "Politians are the weeds of the galaxy." And... "I'm a soldier, Anderson. Not a politian."

I think he'd hate it but because of wanting to be with Ash I think he'd want to leave the dangerous military life and when offered a job in the political sphere he'd probabaly take it but every night go home and complain about the politcal bs that he now has to deal with to Ash who will just laugh and pick his spirits up...again this is all just my own opinions

He hates em, but doesn't stop him from being very politically savvy.

My Shepard tries to retire after the war. He gives up his commission, but keeps the SpecTRe status. Insurrection starts several years later and it becomes a quest to find him again. Hackett sends Ashley after him. Shepard is reluctant at first, feeling that he's given more than enough for the galaxy, but ultimately is coerced when insurrectionists had followed Ash and nearly killed them both by destroying Shepard's hideout. Que him coming back as an Admiral, captaining the new Alliance Frigate the SR3 with Joker and EDI (they managed to scavenge her from the bluebox) at the helm, and a massive civil war errupting.

Speaking of the dangerous military life... Do you think Ashley will give up being a spectre at the end of the war? It's something she was pressured into to begin with, and she eventually accepted for the greater good. She had more power, influence and resources which she thought that she could do some good with (and she did keep the council alive).

Eh. Politics isn't for my Shepard. He's made it clear in my games. I think him and Ash will take easier, less stress filled roles in the Alliance. He wants to help Earth get back on its feet again too.

 - snip -
Shepard: Yeah, something Kat said. 'Paragon on the street, renegade in the sheets'.
Ashley: *roflmao* You - are terrible, You and your sister, both.
Shepard: I knew you'd get a kick out of that.

This is now what defines my Shepard

Hey everyone! I just want to say that I have been a lurker of this Ashley discussion forum for awhile and I have finally decided to make an account. I must say that Ashley Williams is my favorite romance for my sheploo. In all my play throughs, I don't think that my Shepard has come close to romancing anyone (Kaidan never makes it past Virmire).

I love the dialogue and pics you guys post. Great stuff!!

Welcome to the club!

Well the world will need politicans and as you see throughout ME3 Shepard is the only one who can unite a galaxy and bring civilisations together, plus alot of ME is political look at nearly anything to do with Quarians and Geth. So I don't think he'll enjoy it but my Shepard will have to help out in politics rather than being on the front line as he would naturaly prefer.

I always imagined wherever Shepard went he would get the same sort of reaction that Hackett got arriving on the Normandy with everyone looking round to see the admiral and everyone being sure to salute very formally.

I suppose that's another possibility that Shepard could get promoted and so be able to stay in the military but not be out on the front line. But personally my Shepard would find that just as annoying because he loves being out in the middle of things (again I draw similarities between Shepard and Major Winters in Band of Brothers) but after the Reapers he is happy to leave that life.

But okay, maybe you actually could help me to solve some equation I'm trying to beat for months.
Widow. 40 kg, 1083 points of damage, 1 shot.
Black Widow. 40 kg, 642 points of damage, 3 shots.
Paladin. 12 kg, 438 points of damage, 4 shots.
Carnifex. 12 kg, 345 points of damage, 6 shots.

My question is pretty simple: how the **** that's possible?
Also, why the hell "ultra-light materials" on SMG have no effect on other weapon's parameters? Such as kick or muzzle flip.

If I ever have to explain the armor / weight story in my fanfic, I'll go with the "power suit" idea. I also think we really should use it in the Phoenix Project if we ever run into that issue and need to explain it.

It's not that it's going to break anything or makes Shepard look like a wimp if we add that little idea to the lore. After all, we already -have- to tweak and fix the lore to make Project Phoenix working, so ... yeah, you get it.

I think you placing cart ahead of horse, i.e. trying to solve problem from wrong end. How power armour can actually help to fight recoil?

I have impression, that ME armour is something of a hybrid between biker protection, hockey player protection and riot police suit protection, only made from other materials, allowing them to effectively hermetically seal suit. Soft layer does most of the job, while hard layer work mostly as blunt trauma protector and low velocity objects (stones, debris, minor shrapnel. And they are not that superb - Shepard's suit was ruptured.

Yeah, I especially agree about the letting it go after the war. It may take some time getting used to civilian life, but my Shepard is done too. He may help out rebuilding or keeping various peoples in check, but after that, he's done.

Yeah, I was wishing I could punch out James when he said he got Ashley drunk. My first thought was "You're gonna die."

I didn't mind him getting her drunk, as long as there was no funny business from him, but I was wanting to give him a talking to!

No worries. Ash is loyal to the bone. Posted Image

I highly doubt that it's even true. I don't believe it until I see it. Ash leaves her room to have breakfast with Vega? Yeah, right. She never leaves her room, unless remembering Kaidan. I'm sure the FemShep players out there would have picked up on this and told us if it was true, or there would at least be a video on youtube since Ash and James are major characters, but there's no proof!

The Wiki is wrong, until I see it with my own eyes.

Am I the only one who didn't mind Ash getting drunk with Vega?

They way I see it, is that he knew she was down in the dumps after the memorial, so he dropped by, gave her a drink and a pep talk like buddies do. Drank away their problems, then left early. After he went, Ash kept draining the bottle and eventually drank herself into a state. I doubt Vega would have just left her there on the floor like that otherwise, or would be making her breakfast.

No I don't mind her getting drunk with Vega, it's good to see them being friends. But I just wanted to talk with James about maybe keeping it off the Normandy and making sure when she's drunk that he doesn't get any...ideas

I guess I should've explained my viewpoint a little longer. Was trying to be funny, but after I realized that it was just a friendly drink where he promptly left her alone then I let it go. I agree, I thought about giving Vega a dressing down for getting a superior officer drunk while on board a ship.

Come on, Vega wouldn't take advantage of her in that mess. Soldiers look out for their own. That's why I like the idea of Vega dropping by and offering her a little support, even if that support came in a bottle.

Besides, Vega isn't looking for anybody. FemShep learnt that the hard way.

I admit, I expected better of Ash in that situation, but I guess she still is that grunt at heart. And after having a really rough day at the memorial, I can't blame her for trying to drink it away with booze.

Sooo... I was playing last night and I went down to the docks to do the Tactus sidequest for my femshep I'm playing, only I noticed someone familiar and went to check it out. Guess who?

:crying:

Hey if Ash couldn't be there, I might as well have been... guilty conscience!

Just got around to posting this because I was doing yard work all morning but yeah, I didn't feel like playing much after that last night. lol

It's just my Shepard's jealous boyfriend feelings. He doesn't mind them having fun but would want to make sure James doesn't try anything with his girl, even if James wasn't planning to anyway.

Plus he may be a soldier so would look out for Ash but as a soldier he probably has had his share of romantic 'conquests' and flings.

BP that sounds rough. All these things make it less and less likely I will ever play a femshep play through or a leaving Ash behind play through as either male or female.

Ash is as loyal as they come, and she wouldn't let any man walk over her. What did she say in ME1, "Doing things when she's ready."?

My Shepard isn't jealous at all, because it's obvious that Ash loves him. He's just happy to see her air it all out.

I'm not buying this Vega-mance either. There certainly would have been video of it by now if it were true..
