Give Garrus the sniper rifle, he's surprisingly fragile in close quarters. Ideally a Black Widow.

I wish somebody would give me proof of Vega and Ash if you don't romance her. As it stands, I can't believe it, for quite a few reasons.

If it turns out to be true (which I highly doubt), I might have to dump Ash and go blue just so she leaves her room. Yay, or nay?

Eh. it's depressing that Ash doesn't leave her room. Would have liked her to work things out with Liara, and see an actual improvement there. Everything happens behind the scenes...

As of now, there exists no proof of either romancing each other.

The wikia had that line removed, pending proof. Bear in mind the line stated that if neither was romanced throughout the entire series, indicating Shepard cares about someone else or is female.

Remember when Garrus romanced Tali, when either of the two were not romanced by Shepard? I would imagine a similar mechanic kicking in for Ashley. Its ME3...everyone gets some.

At the least the EC corrected the matriarch believing that me and Liara were an item...it was kinda awkward when Liara didn't correct her though...

I can resist her.

I wanted to romance Liara though. But the Shepard I role-played was better suited to Ash more than anybody else. Even if their relationship ends in a train wreck - that's who he's in love with.

I think I might make up another FemShep and romance Liara, save Ashley and see if Ash leaves her room for breakfast with Vega. I know... I'm becoming paranoid over this.... I hate the thought of Vega and Ash being an item. BUT GUYS! More Ash content and she might actually leave her room! I doubt it's true though... somebody would have said something, or posted a video. There's lots of FemShep players out there who have Ash alive...

But Survivor, Ashley is available to romance by new players straight after that. FYI, I started a new game save (no import) and played through till the very end - and didn't get that at all. It's not true. It can't be. How did I miss it otherwise?

Yes, but after watching a lot of his videos, I get the feeling that he prefers Ash over others. And, one comment said, (paraphrasing) "You made me care about Ashley in 4 minutes than Bioware has in 5 years." or something on those lines. So, hes doing good work.

Edwin Shepard is already a decent sniper. He needs someone to keep the enemies off his back while he lines up a shot. So Ash uses the Revenant to surpress while Shepard snipes.

From time to time, if all the enemies are at a distance, Ash will switch to the sniper rifle too, but usually I just have her stick with the Revenant. The only problem is that sometimes she's so effective that she keeps the enemies stuck in cover, meaning I can't get a shot at them. Wish there were a way for Edwin Shepard to tell Ash, "Geez, ease up a bit so one of them will stick their head out."

Thanks for checking, Td. I was wondering myself why I never got that in one of my playthroughs. Well... so much for Ash leaving her room.

Looks like Ash gets no love if she doesn't romance Shepard, same goes for Liara or Kaidan.

In the case of Ash, it kind of makes sense - she always was career focused. Shepard just kinda screwed that plan up a bit.

I like to think Liara eventually ends up with Feron. They hinted at that in LotSB if Liara was unromanced. I hate that ME3 didn't do anything with it. One of many loose ends.

Anyway, in my head canon: Liara continues with the Normandy when Shepard comes out of retirement to deal with a new threat. She's there for a year or two, before Feron confronts her about how her duties on Shepard's squad are negatively impacting her ability to be the Shadow Broker, and basically tells her that she "needs to decide what she wants to do." She goes off to focus on being the Shadow Broker full time, doesn't see Shepard as much, and eventually ends up with Feron.
