Lt. Commander Ashley Williams thread: "Don't 'Ash' me!" We're Back Baby!

Ashley: Skipper ... *smiles back*
Shepard: Long time no see, huh?
Ashley: Yeah ... was used to see your face every morning, you know.
Shepard: Sure. Seems you brought her home. Brought the Normandy back.
Ashley: She's a fine ship ... but not complete without her Skipper. Or EDI. *sad tone*
Shepard: Hmmmm ... Ash?
Ashley: Yes?
Shepard: I ... I think my days are over. Even if I ever fully recover, I'm not the same.
Ashley: Nonsense, Shepard. You're still the same who saved the galaxy. I just keep the seat warm for you. The Normandy is still yours.
Shepard: Thanks ... I won't come back, this is your ship now, your job. I already requested retirement from Admiral Hackett.
Ashley: Guess it's too late to change your mind? Skipper ... the Normandy needs her captain. And that are you. Besides that, that bed in your cabin is quite lonely without you.
Shepard: Don't make me regretting that decision *smirks*
Ashley: Does it work?
Shepard: It does ... *smiles* ... but you can't wait for me until I'm fully back. Ash ... half of my body is still under reconstruction. Never ask a man without legs to take a walk, so to speak. I'll get them back later, in a month or so ...
Ashley: I can wait.
Shepard: Maybe. Can the galaxy wait too?
Ashley: Forget the galaxy for a moment. Just you and me right now, that's all that matters. And ... once you're ready for action, I want you to be my Skipper again. Come back, Shepard. Don't leave me alone on this ship.
Shepard: You make it extra difficult, right? And I was planning my retirement days already *snickers*
Ashley: You wouldn't survive a single day 'cause of boredom. You -need- to do something. Even if it's not all about guns and shooting, you can't keep your mouth shut. Someone has to keep the galaxy on course. And that's you.
Shepard: And suddenly I want to retire ASAP. All that talk ... I'm just one man. Not the Messiah. I can't fix all the stuff that's going wrong.
Ashley: Nope. But your word -does- count. After all, you saved all those sorry asses. They better listen to you. *smiles*
Shepard: And what if not?
Ashley: Then your girlfriend will make sure they listen. I have my ways *winks*
Shepard: Hmm ... okay. I'll ask Hackett. God, you're awful. You really know how to manipulate a guy.
Ashley: Just you - and it's not manipulating. You do it to keep that fine ass in view, right?
Shepard: If that ass doesn't watch, it may get a slap or two.
Ashley: Catch me, if you can ... oops. Sorry.
Shepard: Gimme a month to get new legs and I'll make sure you -really- feel sorry. *laughs*
Ashley: You better do ... and Skipper: it's good to have you back. I love you ...
Shepard: I always love you, Ash ...

If I remember correctly, it's omni gel. The panel is part of a bigger comic where Shepard liqufies a gun to get omni gel to unlock a locker that contains the very same gun Shepard just liqufied to grey paste.

What I would've done differently was to actually have the Collectors take the VS and have their survival tied to the survival of your crew when they get abducted later (more specifically, link it to the survival of Dr. Chakwas since in the next-to-worst case scenario, she's the only one left to rescue). If you rescue your crew and the VS early enough, they're still in shape to fight and you get a choice. Either A: you can send the VS back as escort with the crew, or B: you can send one of your squadmates back as escort and the VS takes their place.
I know the whole "loyalty mechanic" would kind of throw a wrench into this idea, but Garrus and Tali really shouldn't have needed loyalty missions anyway since they've been with you since the beginning (unless you didn't pick Garrus up in ME), so the VS shouldn't have needed one either (or the rescue could act as a "loyalty mission" of sorts). This would also make them far less hostile (if they even still are) towards you in the early stages of ME3 (and might change up the standoff during the Citadel Coup a bit). Since starting with the end of the SM, you're no longer really Cerberus, the VS could stay aboard for the remainder of the game (and you'd have the ability to re-kindle or even possibly initiate a romance with them) and if you have any missions left to do, they'd be a squadmember choice for them.
Tbh, it probably sounds a bit difficult to have been implemented, but I just really want to have been able to have my "dream team" of Ash & Miranda at some point, since so far ME3 has failed to deliver on that.

But I really, really hope I can find her. If not in this life, let's say "next life". Maybe I'm as handsome as Shepard then? ^^
I would die for Ashley. So perfect ...

I guess one way that could work would be to change the order of the main story related missions around say instead Horizon - Reaper IFF its other way around Reaper IFF - Horizon but the crew (Dr Chakwas, etc) dosen't get taken after completeing the Reaper IFF mission instead when it comes to Horizon while Shepard is on ground the Collectors attack the Normandy and take the crew along with the VS on Horizon thus leaving Shepard in a postion to either go rescue the crew and VS or go and prepare more.
Sorry If this dosen't make any sense I'm suffering from a lack of sleep

I thought the actual quote was, "Those big, powerful Citadel arms giving you ideas, Commander?"
And in that moment, I think my Shepard wanted to wrap her up in his arms. So I guess, she guessed right.
Ah, I'm arguing on youtube. There's currently not enough characters to explain why dipshi*ts are wrong about Ash.

Actually, that would make it work better. The idea makes sense. Probably more than the game does as is, since where are Shepard & Co. going when the crew gets abducted?Allstar27 wrote...

@ Danny: of course, RL Ashley. I didn't found her yet.
Damnit, why did BW create such amazing characters? She could be real. Too bad they dropped the ball with her in ME3.

Why would anyone get ideas from his own arms?
How are his arms citadel's ?
I always thought she was referring to Citadel Ward Arms because you know... [pervert mode on] they spread open and let you dock in [pervert mode off]
But you can't see them from the Presidium so...
BTW, dont waste your energy on YouTube folks, they are not worth the effort
