I always thought she was referring to Citadel Ward Arms because you know... [pervert mode on] they spread open and let you dock in [pervert mode off]
But you can't see them from the Presidium so...

In fairness that line always confused me. I liked it and it gave my Shepard funny feelings but I never fully understood it or thought I wasn't getting the sexual undertones of the joke. I didn't want to say anything cause I didn't want people to mock me but I'm glad I'm not the only one lol

What I would've done differently was to actually have the Collectors take the VS and have their survival tied to the survival of your crew when they get abducted later (more specifically, link it to the survival of Dr. Chakwas since in the next-to-worst case scenario, she's the only one left to rescue). If you rescue your crew and the VS early enough, they're still in shape to fight and you get a choice. Either A: you can send the VS back as escort with the crew, or B: you can send one of your squadmates back as escort and the VS takes their place.

I guess one way that could work would be to change the order of the main story related missions around say instead Horizon - Reaper IFF its other way around Reaper IFF - Horizon but the crew (Dr Chakwas, etc) dosen't get taken after completeing the Reaper IFF mission instead when it comes to Horizon while Shepard is on ground the Collectors attack the Normandy and take the crew along with the VS on Horizon thus leaving Shepard in a postion to either go rescuse the crew and VS or go and prepare more.

Actually, that would make it work better. The idea makes sense. Probably more than the game does as is, since where are Shepard & Co. going when the crew gets abducted?

I always find that part weird by the fact that Shepard takes the whole spuad into a tiny shuttle to some random place but then again bioware had to get rid of Shepard & Co. so the crew could get abducted........they could have done it tad better

Once she hears that, Ashley then proceeds to tease Shepard.
