I can imagine you just sitting there, reluctantly picking renegade dialouge options and cursing silently to yourself. :lol::lol:

Posted Image Oh i was. There was a number of occasions when I hated myself for picking the renegade interupt or else the renegade dialogue option. I found it fun in 1+2 but almost painful in 3. I have to say though I blame Ashley, Garrus and Tali for me not getting the full renegade bar cause I was usually, if not always paragon to them, I just don't have the stone heart BW wanted me to!

Top Ash who melted my renegade heart:

Sometime after ME3, while Ash and Shepard are semi-retired and living together on a colony.

Shepard: Hey, looks like you got some mail.
Ash: Oh?
Shepard: Yeah - it's from the local chapter of Terra Firma. They *snickers* want you to join.
Ash: Oh, for the love of...

*a few days later*

Shepard: *looking at the extranet* Um... Ash...
Ash: Yeah.
Shepard: Why am I reading an article in the local news about a "letter" you sent to the Terra Firma party?
Ash: *smiles* I was only replying to their letter.

I don't know if someone asked this question already but what kind of music do you think Ashley would listen to if she were in our time period? Hip-Hop? classical? It's kind of hard to gauge with her character. Maybe Rock music?

Yeah, I hate synthesis. Can't imagine Ash would be very happy about it.

Destroy seems like the only safe option. Too bad Bioware feels otherwise and had to add collatoral damage to it that doesn't make sense.

You know the big difference between ME3 and Deus Ex, as far as the endings are concerned? When I played Deus Ex, I didn't feel like the game was trying to "push" me into one of the endings. When I play ME3, I totally get the feeling they're trying to push me to synthesis.

If they were going to rip off Deus Ex, they could have also ripped off ending neutrality.

If Ashley went into the Beam instead of Shepard, she would have shot the Starkid and then shot the destroy beam thingy. Ash is badass. :police:

Not classical anyway. Posted Image

She likes the clubs. I say some house/dance to run/work out to. Can't really see her liking rock, but old Earth classics that everyone knows the words to like, "Sex on fire." or Aerosmith "Don't wanna miss a thing." ? Sure.

I still think the ending convo between Shepard and Star Brat was in Shepard's head. It happened - but Star Brat and the ending "options" were just how Shepard's brain was interpreting the data feed from the crucible and the catalyst. A way of making sense of information Shepard's brain was never meant to handle.

So, yeah. in my "head canon," Shepard never left the room with Anderson and TIMs bodies. When he fell unconscience, his mind basically linked with the catalyst and the crucible controls. And if Ash were there, she still would have gotten the conversation, but the catalyst would have taken a different form (her father, maybe?). The surroundings and symbols for the ending options might have even been a little different.

Synthesis is bad for you

No, seriously I get creeped everytime i see anyone of my companion greenefied
Sad :(

On topic of music, I'd say she would like popular contemporary music, so at the moment i would go with Adele

Yeah, I know the question asked what music Ash would like if she were alive today, but I have to wonder which music/bands from the 20th/21st century will still have an audience in 2186.

I have to assume that Ash and Shepard will probably never have heard of most of them, except maybe in a music history class. You have to figure at least some bands/singers will be considered "classics" that will be listened to in over 100 years, though.

The funny thing is, it might be considered kind of a snobbish/elitist thing to listen to that music though, kinda the way some people view classical music today. So, I think 2183/2186 Ash would probably be more oriented towards the popular music of her time, especially club music, since she seems to like going out.

EDIT: Although, I will say, in my head canon, Edwin Sheapard listens to classical music, and Ash kind of likes some of it, although she'd never admit it and she kind of teases Shepard about some of his music tastes.

classic rock, eh?

In that case her favorite would be 'Hey 'Jude'... "Na Na Na Na, Hey Jude!"

Example, if you don't know that song, your British citizenship is revoked.

You make good points. Even now people don't listen to music from 200 years ago unless it's for a music class or something. I think in some elevators in the first ME, they had elevator music. I guess that never gets old. :D

Okay now I have Fleewtwood Mac stuck in my head now. Off to itunes I guess.

They'd be like glow sticks in the dark. Posted Image

Oh, yeah. That's right... Shepard dies, but before he does, he decides on an irreversible fate for the entire galaxy and everyone in it. They all become infected with his genes. And Ashley ends up FOREVER ALONE and FOREVER SAD and dies early. When Ashley passes, Liara has Shepard's baby because she misses him.

The "perfect" ending to the Mass Effect trilogy, by Mac Walters and Casey Hudson.

@BP; Haha fair enough. Posted Image I know it, okay? No need to do anything hasty.

If you're from the UK... Remember when the crazy frog was considered to be the most amazing/annoying thing ever? Posted Image Time flies.

@Td1984:

Imagine; a Pink Floyd based romance scene.

Ashley: "Hey you... out there in the cold, looking lonely, looking old, can you feel me?"
Shepard: "Old?!"
Ashley: "Shut up, its a song, now get over here."

Lol instead of having Ashley quote poems, she should quote Pink Floyd lyrics.

When asking Shepard about Cerberus on Mars she just sings "Wish You Were Here" where pretty much every line is a question.

"Did they trade your heroes for ghosts?"

Who needs Tennyson when you have Syd Barrett and Roger Waters? LOL
