When asking Shepard about Cerberus on Mars she just sings "Wish You Were Here" where pretty much every line is a question.

"Did they trade your heroes for ghosts?"

Who needs Tennyson when you have Syd Barrett and Roger Waters? LOL

Shepard: "Hey Ash, where do you think we should vacation this Summer?"
Ashley: "Dark Side of the Moon."
Shepard:

Lol. If she quoted Pink Floyd, no other LI option would be good enough for my MSheps. My canon MShep would wind up with her over Miranda and I probably wouldn't have a second MShep at all.

I don't know what kind of music Ash would like, maybe a little of everything. My Shepard was playing The Rolling Stones song Wild Horses in his head while choosing destroy ending.

My Shepard's a dubstep kind of guy, my femshep has a thing for classical stuff.

@Bane; In my head canon, my Shepard likes classic Rock as well, especially the Rolling Stones. Idk why, but for some reason I'm having a hard time figuring out what music Ash would listen to.

One thing I demand as canon is that Shepard and Ashley both love irish drinking songs.

In my headcanon, my Shepard isn't really a big music guy. He's easy. Whatever Ash listens to he would be fine with. So long as it's nothing god awful like Opera. But I think that would be unlikely lol. I'm sure Ash likes the up-to-date stuff in the charts.

Just an idea I came up with on the Kaidan Forum:

What would have been cool is if it was Shepard that got knocked out, and you got to play the VS for the Palavan mission, and Shepard recovers after that (cause Shepard heals like ridiculously fast compared to normal humans) and depending on their evaluation of the VS afterwards, it futhers a romantic/friendship or deepens a rivalry.

Depending on whether or not you paragoned or renegaded them in 1 affects their dialogue during that mission. You have them for Surkesh but they get reassigned to Udina's personal guard in between Tuchanka and the Citadel coup. Would probably change the Standoff scene abit as well.

So many missed opportunities in ME3, I hate thinking about it to be honest. If I ever won the lottery, I would fund a project that would redo the entire ME series. All you guys are hired! :D

I mean, ffs, we got to play as Joker! Why not the VS? Would have quenched a lot of the so-called 'VS hate' in my opinion. More over, the Ash hate. Sure some people who hate playing a soldier or Sentinal classes, but for some more content with the VS, I'd say playing one mission as a different class would have been worth it.

That's it, TIM's new theme song is Have A Cigar

Shepard: The Council still isn't going to help us.

Ash: All in all it's just another brick in the wall.

Not playing as the VS doesn't bother me as much as the missed dialogue opportunities and LI scenes. Replaying ME3 is painful when you notice the "what should have happened" scenes.

I feel bad for the people who romanced ME2 squadmates (my Shep stayed faithful) That was handled poorly. Ughhh getting upset thinking about all of it.

Quick!! Someone put an Ash pic up!! Take our minds off this travesty!!

Getting a playable VS mission would have been awesome. Or even a VS centered mission, the only one you could say they got would be Mars, and even at that, Liara swoops in and steals the spot-light once again. But come on, it's not like Bioware would ever consider giving the VS a DLC or even a damn comic. They're a nuisance. And double the effort would have to be put into characters they didn't create or care about. Whereas with Liara or Garrus it's a labour of love. Posted Image

I try not to think about it. It annoys me when I think of all the missed opportunities and wasted potential in ME3. Sure, the ME2 characters got shafted as well, but it's not like Ash got the justice she deserved either. Too many players she needed to redeem herself after ME2. And Bioware never gave her the chance to shine (it was always Liara, Liara, Liara). Instead they side-lined Ash as quick as possible, kept her side-lined for half the game, then make her hold a gun on you. That was their great plan for Ash.

Once Shepard and her overcome their drama, she's useless. She turns into the observation deck mute and loner. Posted Image

Ugh don't get me started on the Liara romance forcing. I really like Liara and honestly if my Shep didn't romance Ash, the second choice would be Liara (maybe). It's not her fault, it's Bioware's. The observation deck dialogue just pisses me off. On my first playthrough, after the Cerberus coup, I sprinted (exaggerration) to the observation Deck to see what Ash had to say..."Good to see you."
What the..?

That's how I feel about it, too. I used to like Liara. She was one of my favourites. Now she just annoys me. I hate putting up with her, and hate how she's forced on the player constantly and Ash gets kicked to the curb despite her being my love interest.

And don't get me started on that. After the coup it was like a kick in the gut when Ash said that. I was like "Is that it?" after everything that just happened you don't have a conversation!?

At first, I thought she would have more to say after a mission. I mean come on, she was missing for half the game before that! But sadly, nope.

She might as well be like the 'salute guy' on the Normandy. Or a dry peice of bread that's hard to swallow.

Shepard: Hey.
Ashley: Shepard, hey. Good of you to drop by.
Shepard: I was just making my rounds, wanted to see how you were settling in.
Ashley: I'm... settling. Kind of. Only have a few things from the Citadel to unpack. Had to leave Earth fast, wasn't really enough time to pack a 'going away' bag.
Shepard: I hear that. Most of my things were in storage after I gave the Normandy over to Anderson.
Ashley: Yet somehow through all of this, you managed to find an N7 hoodie, and leather jacket?
Shepard: Yeah - funny that.
Ashley: Yeah.
Shepard: ... Ash, you ok?
Ashley: Yeah, yeah. I'm fine. Just being here again is sending me spinning. Its the same as the old Normandy, but completely different.
Shepard: Like me, I guess.
Ashley: I-I didn't mean it like that. It's just that - like I said back on Mars, I need a little more time.
Shepard: Well can't say I'm happy with that, but take all th time you need. Just hope it's not too much.
Ashley: Thanks.
Shepard: Can I at least interest you in a cup of coffee. Can't guarentee a quality bean, but the Expresso Machine's still there.
Ashley: W.. we have an Expresso Machine?
Shepard: Yep.
Ashley: I'm in.

If we got that after the coup I would have been content.

I probably wouldn't come in this thread anymore if it wasn't for you and your dialogues, Aurora. We'd all be depressed without you! Don't ever leave us. Ever.

Ash was lacking her fire in ME3, and got the short-stick compared to Kaidan, Liara or Garrus.
But damn. We still got good gifs. Posted Image

I'm still pissed about it though. Posted Image

I love you too. :)

Also, I'm expanding kind of to the Kaidan thread as well. Since I've got a Shepley/Shenko fic going (kind of trying to avoid writing chapter 4 atm... -.-), I've started going there as well. If for nothing by advice on how to write his character in ME1 time period. In ME3, he's become a little more like Shepard, but less hotblooded and more controlled, but still loose and a little easygoing. Honestly, if he wasn't romanced, I get the whole 'older brother' vibe from him.

Ashley is more mature, definately, but I wish we knew how she became that way. We say a glimpse of the 'old Ash' when she made the comment about shoving the Reaper's tenticales up their metal asses. Officer school killed nearly all the fun in Ash... -.-

Yeah, she's grown up. I suppose Shepard's death had a big impact on her. That's how I explain it, anyway. Something like that would change you, especially if you loved the other person. Perhaps when she saw her youngest sister maturing and getting married, it might have opened her eyes there too. Like she needed to step up herself.

Yep. Officer school put the foot down and really put that girl in line. Which SUCKS! I would have loved to see her punch a table dancing tart out. Or at least give Shepard sh*t about stuff like she used to. Ugh. But the war and all... I suppose it's reasonable. However, since she's matured, Ash should have supported Shepard like Liara and Garrus did... but oh no. Just stick Ash in that room and say nothing.

I just wish Ash got more content and did something useful or helpful for once. I also wish we knew about her work these past few years. We know nothing...

Good dialogue Aurora!!!

@Example Garrus is a dialogue hog. Oh. My God. I love Garrus so much but oh man. Bringing him along with Ash on some missions = worst mistake ever!!

Is it just me or does Ash feel ... wrong with all the green stuff and her beautiful brown eyes gone?

Catching up @ work. And love the satire too. "Ashley made the genophage and is a bad, bad, bad racist that hates everyone with scales"

I never pick synthesis with bro-Shep. Fem!Shep, yeah. Bro!Shep is content with destruction or Control depending on my mood at the time... I really have to toss a coin between the two.
I feel so sad, why does Shepard have to die in most options?
