at the point of the story in ME3, i dont think anyone would care if they had an open relationship.
i mean is shepard even officially part of the alliance anymore? he was listed as KIA. then he goes on trial when discover he's alive. ashley becomes a spectre. i dont think petty fraternization rules really matter at that point.

 
I was talking about ME1, but very true.
In ME2 if Shepard was in a relationship most of the crew knew about it. I don't expect ME3 to be any different. It might even be more open since it's the end of the galaxy and everybody could be like, "Who cares! We could all die tomorrow! Shut up and kiss me!"

It'd be cool to see how the crew address the Shepley romance. I can see Joker teasing Ash about it big time and Garrus.

Maybe something nice from space victoria's secret. I'd think she'd be tired of guns after working on them all day. She does like sensitive stuff and by her new outfit seems to be leaning toward her feminine side so I'm sure that'd be a switch up to not give her a gun.

Never read any of your stuff before, so I kinda dropped in the middle of the story, enjoyed it nontheless. I'll check it out from the beginning sometime.

Thanks Brainheart! It's sort of rushed at thebeginning, but only because I didn't think people would want to read what happened in ME1 again so I skimme don some of the combat but made up for it in the ME2 half. ^.^

@ADL I usually enjoy downtime stuff more than combat anyway, so that doesn't really bother me! Started a new playthrough (first femshep playthrough) about to meet Ash! well next time I play, maybe I'll take some screenies, when we do meet...

Ah well then you'll love it.it's mostly focused on the downtime in between missions anyway, since that's always dependant on Shepard.

just sticking with the times since clips have blocks of metal that gets cut and accelerated when the trigger is pulled.

you know,I can't help thiniking that Ashley is adept at seperating Ashely the soldier from Ashley the woman. I'd say she might scoff at Shepard getting her anything combat related when they aren't on an operation or on duty. Off duty I can see her being somewhat of a girly girl, maybe having skirts in her closet and a formal dress for social events her spectre status might get her into on the citadel. That's just me though, I can't see Ashley being a solider every hour of the day now that she's finally being recognized for her talents.

We need to remember that Ashley is a hellcat off and on battelfield. So any gift that would shepard by her would need to reflect her hellcat nature.

@Cossack- that's what the codex says about the gun in ME1,there are no bullets, they're antiques in 2183. but you missed my point that Ashley isn't a soldier 24/7 365 days a year (366 on leap years) she's a owman too and I'm sure she'd lke to do thigns that aren't associated with the military and would probably scoff if Shepard kept piling soldiery things on her as gifts.

Ash is a soldier but she's also a woman and while I don't see her as a girly girl she's still feminine. I'm sure she has a favorite lip gloss or perfume or goin' out skirt. She just rocks is like it's a casual thing. I feel like Ash is comfortable in her own skin, which means she's comfortable in all kinds of social situations and settings. She may not love the way a pair of awesome heels make her feet feel but she's smart enough to recognize she looks f*cking FANTASTIC in them.

Girly girl? No chance! ... she's a tom boy through and through! 

I picture her watching the equivalent of football games in the future and drinking some beers with the guys. Sure she'll get all fancied up for certain events... but I wouldn't ever call her a girly girl. Nor would I expect to live if I did. haha
