yeah Ash isn't a tomboy to me either. she might be intersted insports and such, but she still acts feminine when she does. But I bet she'd shock alot of the male characters by puttingon a dress, sort of like people imagine femshep does when she goes on Kasumi's mission.

Hell yeah. Ash is very comfortable with her sex, and doesn't feel the need to "prove" herself in a male dominated profession. She's already proven herself.

That's the good thing about these things... it's all in each person's mind!

I don't think she acts all guy-ish with the belching and scratching and what have you.... but she definitely doesn't act all prim and proper either. At least IMO.

In my mind whe she's not on duty she sits around in her favorite pair of jeans that she's worn too much and they are wearing out in a few places and fading in others and a nice tight t-shirt. haha

I doubt they know that much about it.  Ash is pretty "need to know" and as close as she is with her family I doubt they know the whole story.  As much as even Ash might want to tell them, how do you explain...EVERYTHING?  Plus Ash strikes me as the "just the facts" type with her family sometimes so as not to worry them.

But I do think she's had some candid conversations with Lynn, who is who I picture her as being closest to.  Lynn probably knows things about Shepard, this whole political ****storm and Cerberus.  But she's a listener (in my mind) and a questioner there to help Ash sort out her own feelings, not impose her own on her.

I actually wouldn't be surprised to learn that Ash's family wasn't as perfect on the surface as she let on.  I mean she didn't really go into it.  But I have several ideas...  Every family has issues.
